@ann, caco and everyone else- she was definately trying to caress his face. She looked pained at his state. And I think she is thinking about him and his well being more than anything else. She wants to tell him the truth because she wants him to stop torturing himself, she wants to reduce his pain. That hand gesture had a lot of love and affection in it.
