@Polki- There must be some misunderstanding. I dont make breakfast for my lazy half. 😆 Its for the kids. I get my four year old to eat dal chawal before school (I KNOW she will grow up and hate me), but there is method in my madness. She has lunch at school and is not an food enthusiast, so the idea is stuff her enough so if she skips lunch, she will still be ok. They have school from 8.30 -3.30. A LONG DAY

BRB, the rice is bubbling over😆, much like my excitement for this serial

@Beagle: No I understand, I went to boarding school in India and in the morning we would get Dal and bread. I miss those day, back then hated it, but now realize that we needed the protein. I am a vegetarian so have to beans and dals it is for me. Tofu every now and then.
