Anj....me hv put my views..😛

There are many purposes Meera could serve.

1. Think practically. CV cannot only show Maaneet onscreen... that would be stale and BORRING. Caste needs expanding and other characters do need growing and developing or the story will soon have nowhere to go. The actors themselves need recharging and refreshing too from a pragmatic perspective.

Anj.......while i agree new characters are needed to keep the show going coz afterall....however much we think this is a masterpiece its a daily show....so needs the fillers..!! But honestly...i hv noticed this in Geet since the start.. intense epis are folowed by drags.... intense scenes get edited or chopped out..... eg. pee loon butchering n todays maneet intensity of MSks dialgoue ruined with DeMa crap

2. What Dev did to Geet was morally repugnant, irresponsible and illegal. But, Dev is not "evil" personified. Someone of us including myself would lyk him to be a Kewl Devil eventually. If that's where they to go with his character development then the CV's need to draw the path there. The path to hell is often paved wit good intentions and stupid immature moves. He is a casanova.. a flirt, but fell into NT's trap.. that may need etching' That he cud have been gud but, for NT's influence may need airing. Y? To show n justify NT as the one continuing to hold his mental strings. Also, this track may be needed to justify Dev's remorse. Y may somewhat genuine remorse be required? Not to necessarily create Saint Dev but, Devilish Devious Dev' Imagine for a nanosecond that his regret is genuine. If that remorse is rebuffed by MSK and Geet then he will have room to grow into true DEVIL. To later become a charming yet worthy adversary for MSK. Some gentrification of the character may also justify Y MSK and Geet don't try to send him to jail, but decide to punish him some other way. I.E. make him homeless (then again he may need a friend) Wat's the benefit of keeping Dev around. COMPETITION - RIVARLY! Not for Geet, but on a sibling/stepbro level. Think about it from Dev's perspective: Y should MSK have it all? Juss becoz he was born first? He was bad but, its his kid too, so y can't he be called dad? Wit NT egging him on his bitterness could grow and transform him to Devilish Dev ' a worthy adversary for Maaneet. Who betta to get under his MSK's skin then Dev, who has already shown that he's greaaaat at it?

I totally agree on this count..n support it too.......there are always second chances in life..n a chance of redemption too.. but its principally n singularly Geets call to give that redemption to Dev or not...so i will wait n watch on that.... Coming to the point that the track is needed for Devs likely remorse..i disagree...why a new character is needed.......??? Dev was pretty sure n told off NT that he wuld confess to his bro no matter what........i wuld hv luvd to see Dev walking to MSK before NTs eyes..n telling it all...................n thereby breaking NTs shackles on him............ that wuld hv made him look really strong...

3. Meera's entry also buys CVs time to water n grow Maneet's story... leaves them room to have Deveet encounter witout Geet necessarily linking Dev wit Maan if the CVs so opt to show.

I dont think its as much abt growing Maneet story as DELAYING Deveet confrontation.........coz seriously thats the only big thing remaining in th story........after that its gonna b the usual twists n turns......

4. Meera can also bring friendship and perspective into Geet's life if the CVs choose to go that route as only a woman can sometimes grasp another woman's pathos.

This i find it hard for Geet to open up to a rank newcomer when Geet culdn open up abt her past n pregnancy to her best friend Pinky...

Maaneet shud be the ones who define their relationship, but they don't live in a vacuum. None of us do... do we stop going to work becoz we r dating? Do we stop meeting and making new friends? Do our co-workers, naya clients, or friends not sometimes lead to us thinking about our husbands, bf, gfs, etc differently? And sometimes fresh perspective is needed to fix things

Ofcourse not.......but this is a TV show...wherein perspectives have to be brought out in a certain way.......... and intense moments cannot be destroyed for the sake of showing the 'REALISM of daily life'

Having said that i hv enjoyed Perneet-KT pairing in LNMDJ so looking fwd to her scenes ..but seriously...at the moment... Dev/ Abhi dictating CVs........n ruining Maneet intensity..is UNACCEPTABLE To me 👎🏼

Swan, I agree. Today's episode was totally messed up because of Dev. This is an extremely important phase in MaanEet relationship, and seeing their scene in parts is not working for me. Somewhere, the intensity in their scenes was missing, and this is only because of Dev, not MaanEet. This week. Dev could get 2-3 mins footage in each episode, not 10 minutes. From next week, more footage was understandable, but not today. I am not happy. 😡

Jyo, riddle time please, we need something to cheer us up. 😊

I don't think episode was bad...Calling it utter crap will b a bit too much😆😳...only problem with the episode was like Swan said the timing of introducing Dev's blast from the past👎🏼..this week is cruicial for Maneet storyline..their self-talks..their realisation...everything😳...so at this point showing a parallel track of Dev is not making any sense here...they could hv introduced this Meera track once Maneet confession is done...then it would not hv looked so bad😳

I think the reason why most of them r not enjoying this episode is because of the amount of time Dev was hogging the limelight in between a cruicial Maneet bedroom scene😉😆...but all I can say is wait for tomorrow..picture abhi baaki hai mere dost😆

And yes screw the Mahii singer and editor plss..whole rain scene was butchered😡

Don't worry about precap blooper...its misleading😆
