Maan nearly stripped at the office to show Geet that he is not wounded and later covered her with the dupatta in such a way that the blood stains in it were hidden. Now we all know that Maan will protect Geet's honour. There have been several symbolic gestures so far to convey that. In the past, Maan has covered her reverently with the dupatta and the saree pallu. But I think yesterday's scene conveyed something more. The location of the act could signify something. Here is my take.
Maybe Geet's pregnancy secret comes out in the office. Maybe she faints and the doctor is called in. Examining her, he declares she is pregnant. Now given the fact that Maaneet spent a night at the office together, Sasha had witnessed Maaneet hug recently and Geet asked Maan why he did not wake her up right in front of everybody at the conference room (indicating that they may be intimate with each other), I am sure if such a thing happens the office staff will conclude Maan is the father of the baby. For all we know, Maan himself may encourage this and fore go his honour, just as he willingly stripped his shirt. Why? Because for Maan, Geet's honour is more important. Geet may try to dispel the notion that Maan is the father as his honour is important to her (much like her offer to bring the first aid box to attend to his wound) but Maan may indicate to her to trust him on this (like his asking her whether she does not trust him when she volunteered to bring the first aid box).
Just as he covered the stains in her dupatta, Maan would protect her honour and assume full responsibility for the pregnancy.
Later in privacy, Geet may confide in him about the fake marriage with the NRI who left her at the airport. She may not reveal the name because by then she could have found out that Maan and Dev are brothers and would not want to break the close relationship between the brothers.
Maan may then volunteer to make the engagement real and ask her to be his wife. The presenting of the green dress yesterday may be indicative of this. Green conveys going ahead in life (green signal). It also conveys prosperity as their married life is going to be.
Well, I may be totally wrong in reading too much into last night's acts but then these were my thoughts.Any comments?
