@Sini: Absolutely the best. Atleast you got to go back home 😆 I moved here with my husband because of his job. Prior to this we lived in Germany. And we just bought a house, so it seems I am stuck here for a while. As for the weather here, I had to turn on the heat in August. And as you said, it can't decide whether it is hot or cold.

Looking for a job, we both are in the same boat. What are you going to Grad school for? I plan to go next year so that I don't have to pay international student rates here in England. Poli Sci, here.

I am sure you will find a job, just take it easy and don't stress. You graduated at a bad time, the economy just isn't kind to new grads.

Where to upstate did you move?

@Polki...awww that must be hard......true that...i can come down here pretty much any time i want....about the job thing...my MIL said the exact same thing about the economy.....but whatever if the world (some parts) can come out of the great depression so will we....inshallah we both will find jobs.

about Grad School...lookin for a suitable PhD program in NeuroPsych.....so just preparing for that...the usual...what are u going to grad school for??

@Sini: Political Science here, me too trying to get into a combined Masters/PhD program. Was in the miltary for 8 years hence the large gap between getting my bachelors and Post Grad degree. I don't know if we are going to move back home anytime soon, since we took the first step to leave, we might as well travel the world and explore it while we can. I am hoping next stop India, I told my husband if he ever gets the opportunity to move to India for we we should take it, he has never been. If not India maybe Australia or Hong Kong. But I am sure there are few years between London and those destinations
