Columbine I planted originally because when i saw the seeds in the store I thought of the school tragedy that had happened years ago and people associate the name with the school more than the flower and its sad.
It's not a fragrant flower much Skep...and it's common in blue than white. White is more rare. Apparently the story is that its meant to signify the holyspirit and the seven gifts.... though it doesnt have 7 petals...only 5 or 10 depending on how you count :-)
as you can see I've rambled on as I absolutely love to grow flowers when I can. I just love taking off into the woods and places and doing stuff like this and convincing myself my new plant has grown a mm since yesterday. but just for your love of birds...near my very close to my heart tulsi plant
@ mehr: the Kavyanjali....track was an old old one and just wrote off the cuff and really quick but just my first hindi serial so was excited about all the drama. the flower ..jhappiz...someday when my jasmine part is in bloom I'll send home grown phoolon ki baarish your way...
