Brilliantly put, I agree An. 😊 Maan has choice, a family, a home, Geet has no choice, no family, no home.

But at the end of the day, both are lonely and have only each other now. Maan has no one except dadi he can trust. And dadi already knows his past, but cannot share his pain. Now with Geet in his life, he has someone he can share his pain with, and get healed too.

and absolutely loved this

Geet offer of being friends: Simple act of making peace and not running away from the obvious. She stands at a point where she has no one, except him and the real offer cannot be accepted because of the past baggage. The offer of being friends was quite in with her character.

I have a question...a little different than Geet.

Two people Rahul and Rahulika are in love.

A third Yucklika is wicked and wants to marry Rahul.

Yucklika figures out a way to do just that.

So Rahul and Rahulika are not married.

Can Rahul-Rahulika have an affair instead?

AND

Is Rahul allowed to never ever sleep with the Yucklika?
