Judge: Call the next witness please
Prosecutor: I wish to call Ms. Sasha who is Mr. Khurana's head architect.
Judge: OK.
Sasha gets at smiles at Maan, gives Geet a dirty look, does a namasthe to Daadi (who royally ignores her) and walks up to the witness box.
Judge: Oye prosecutor tell your witness that she needs to come today. How long will she take? She can socialize with people later.
Sasha (smiling at the judge): Sorry sir.
Her smile has no effect on the judge whatoever. He tells the prosecutor to continue.
Prosecutor: What work do you do in Mr. Khurana's office?
Sasha: I am his head architect and have worked with him for a long time.
Prosecutor: Do you think he has changed?
Sasha (laughs): Not at all Sir. Who pehle jaise the abhi bhi waise hi hai.
Maan is happy to hear this and approves. Geet keeps her head down.
Prosecutor: No further questions. Defense your witness please.
Defense lawyer: So you know Mr. Khurana for a long time.
Sasha: Yes. Main unhe bachpan se jaanthi hoon. You see my father was his accountant.
Defense: So you are a loyal employee?
Sasha: Main MK ke liye kuch bhi kar sakthi hoon. (smiles at Maan and it has no effect on him)
Lawyer (whispering): Me too. 😲 Lekin please dekhiye abhi lunch time bhi nahin hua aap please mere saamne MK ki baat mat kijiye. Waise bhi mujhe bahut bhookh lagi hai. 😲
Sasha: Ji???? 😕 😕 😕
Judge: Yeh kya ho raha hai.
Defense: Your honor main inhe keh raha tha ki yeh MK ki baatein na kare. Mujhe bahut bhookh lagi hai.😆 😆 😆
Judge: Ab ye MK kaun hai? 😕
Sasha and the defense lawyer speak up at the same time
Defense: malai koftha 😆
Sasha: Maan Khurana 😆
Judge looks at both of them and shakes his head.
Judge: One at a time. The witness will speak first.
Sasha: Woh kya hai na sir main Mr. Maan Khurana to MK kehke pukaarthe hoon. Unhe accha lagtha hai.😛
Judge: Defense aap kis MK ki baat kar rahe the?
Defense: Who lunch time nasdeek aa raha hai na sir toh main Malai Kofthe ki baat kar raha tha. Mere biwi usse tiffin mein bhej ne waali hain na your honor, toh main usse ke sapne dekh raha tha. 🤣
Judge: Never mind. Continue.
Defense: One request Sir. I am very hungry. Could you please ask the witness to address Mr. Khurana as Maan Khurana and not MK. 😉
Judge: Stop saying that word. I am hungry too now because of you. Since this is your fault, you will share your lunch with me (defense lawyer looks displeased). Witness will address Mr. Khurana by his name. Continue. 🤣
In the meantime daadi hears a buzzing sound and puts her ear to her bag. She calls defense lawyer's assistant and tells him something. The assistant whispers in the defense lawyer's ear and the defense lawyer stands there a while thinking and finally says "Your honor the witness is excused. I reserve the right to call her back later."
Judge (frustrated): You took this much time to say this. Next witness please.
Daadi is also frustrated with the lawyer and glares at him. He smiles at her and blinks several times to let her know he is up to something.
Prosecutor: Our next witness is Ms. Tasha who also works in Mr. Khurana's office.
Tasha comes to the witness stand.
Prosecutor: Ms. Tasha do you think Mr. Khurana has changed.
Tasha: Of course not sir, silly me, your honor.
Prosecutor: How can you be sure?
Tasha: He is the same as he always is. Just like Sasha…I mean Sasha mam said.
Prosecutor: Thanks. Your witness.
Defense lawyer (rising slowly deep in thought): Ms. Tasha did Ms. Sasha ever say to you that Mr. Khurana has changed?
Tasha: No sir. Why would she say that Sir when it is not true?
Defense lawyer: So you are telling me that Sasha did not say that "Mr. Khurana has changed?"
Tasha: No Sir.
Defense: Your honor I would like to call Chintu the canteenwala here to the other witness box.
Judge: OK
Now chintu the canteenwala is best buds with Geet because of who else but Pinky and is totally on Geet's side. 😆
He does not even know Maan so he has nothing against him.
On the other hand he really likes Geet who is kind to him unlike Sasha and Tasha who are mean. He decides this is his chance to get his revenge if he can.
Defense lawyer: Introduce yourself
Chintu (cowering): I am Chintu canteenwala. I work in the canteen.
Tasha singgers on hearing this and looks at her nails disinterestedly.
Defense: I believe that you have something pertaining to the case?
Judge notices Chintu cowering and tells him "Beta if you have something to tell us, please tell the truth. We will protect you."
Chintu: OK Sir. The other day Sasha mam and Tasha mam came into the canteen to drink coffee.
Tasha: Yeah we do that every day. So this is what you came here to say?
Judge: Khamosh else I will send you to jail. Do you understand Ms. Tasha.😒
Tasha (gulping): Yes sir, I mean, silly me, your honor.
Judge: Continue beta
Chintu: They ordered coffee then when they were drinking it Sasha mam said to Tasha mam "MK is not MK." Then Tasha mam said "If MK is not MK then who is MK?" 😲
The whole court starts laughing at Tasha and Tasha is mad.
The judge pounds his gavel and says "order order" and asks Chintu to continue.
Chintu: Then Sasha mam said "You don't understand MK had changed. He is not like before. He favors the behenji a lot."
The whole court gasps when he says this. Geet is sitting there with her head bent down and twisting her duppata. Daadi pats her head and gives Maan a dirty look. Maan in turn gives Sasha a dirty look……..infact several dirty looks. Adi and Pinky look overjoyed.
Sasha starts to say something but Maan cuts her off saying "Stop."
Judge: Ms. Tasha do you want to go to jail? 😡
Tasha is horrified and screams: No your honor. No way. I do not want to go to that dirty cheap place. 😲
Judge: Fine then tell the truth.😡
Tasha spills beans: Sir Sasha mam did say that in the canteen the other day. She looks down scared to look at Sasha.
Defense lawyer: who is this behenji you are talking about?
Tasha: closing her mouth with both hands.
Judge: Tell me otherwise I am afraid you will have to spend the night in jail.😡
Tasha (pointing to Sasha): IT IS HER NICKNAME FOR GEET.😲
Maan is shocked to hear this and glares at Sasha angrily and asks her "How dare you?"and Sasha says "it was just harmless Sir" . Maan looks at Geet apologetically but she is still not meeting his eyes. He is frustrated and instead he finds his daadi looking at him angrily while stroking Geet's head.
Defense lawyer: Why do you call her behenji?
Tasha (sniggering): Have you seen the way she dresses. I mean seriously come on. Who comes to office dressed like that these days. Sarees and salwar kameezs are so old-fashioned and down market you know. 😛
Tasha turns towards Sasha who glares at her. Daadi (who is herself dressed in a saree) in giving her a cold stare and so Tasha says "You always look great mam" but it has no effect on daadi. Instead daadi takes Geet's hands in hers and says "Dogs will bark beta you ignore them." Tasha next looks at Maan who is looking downright angry with the proceedings. Tasha is now thoroughly scared.😆 😆 😆
Defense lawyer: Ms. Tasha tell me why did you think he was being partial to Ms. Geet?
Tasha is so busy looking elsewhere that the defense lawyer yells "Ms. Tasha"
Tasha: Sorry. Well if anyone else made a mistake, they got fired. But she kept making mistakes after mistakes and she is still here. He is very patient with her.
Judge: I don't understand. 😕 😕 😕 Ms. Geet just testified that he yells at her all the time. And now you are saying that he is patient???? So you are telling me he does not yell at her?
Tasha: No he does. I do not know how to explain. Sasha mam can do a better job of explaining this I think. 😉
Tasha smiles evilly at Sasha.😈
Defense lawyer: Permission to recall Ms. Sasha.
Sasha comes to the other witness box and stares daggers at Tasha.😡
Defense lawyer: So Ms. Sasha do you want to enlighten how Mr. Maan Khurana is partial to Ms. Geet considering you said he was.
Sasha: I did not say anything like that.😲
Judge: Ms. Sasha two witnesses have already testified that you said that he had changed. I believe there is a third waiting. Don't make this too hard on yourself. I can send you to jail for lying. Like your friend, would you like to spend the night in jail.😲
Sasha: God no. (thinks to herself) I will manofy MK later.
Judge: Ms. Sasha I am waiting.
Sasha: It was all a misunderstanding. I figured he was being partial to her but then he explained to me that her errors were not as serious which was why he did not fire her.
Judge: Hmm. What kind of errors.
Tasha is now mad because Sasha is making her out to be a liar and says "I will tell you your honor. She spilt coffee on his shirt.
Judge: Happens to all of us. I am sure your boss can afford a new shirt or the money for dry cleaning it.😆 😆 😆 What else.
Tasha: She brought flowers for Maan Sir and Maan Sir hates flowers. If it was anyone else he would have kicked them out. But he did not kick her out. He just made her throw them in the dustbin. But she did not instead she kept them on her desk and he was OK with it. "
Judge (to himself): She brings him flowers……interesting.
Just then the gardener whispers something in daadi's ears and daadi whispers to the assistant, who motions the defense lawyer and whispers something.😆 😆 😆
Judge (aloud): Anything else.
Defense lawyer: yes your honor. The gardener wants to testify.😲
Judge (confused): This case is so confusing.😕 😕 😕 How does the gardener know what happened in the office.Yeh kaisa office chalathe hain aap Mr. Khurana?
Defense Lawyer: apparently Mr. Khurana was working from home.
Judge: OK whatever.😕
Gardener: Saab I just wanted to tell you that Maan baba does not hate flowers.😃 😲 😲 😲
Judge: Really.😃
Gardener: Haan sir he came to me and took a rose that Geet bitiya wanted and said he will give it to her.😲 😲 😲
Collective gasp from the courtroom 🤣
Maan is looking a little green, Geet is looking puzzled and Daadi is looking like the cat who got the cream.
Judge: Really did he give it to her.
Gardener: I think not because bitiya did not get it. I asked her about it and she looked thoughtful.
At that point Pinky screams and tells Adi "OMG Adi Sir the rose in the file folder that Sasha made Geet throw in the dustbin was the same one the gardener gave. Maan Sir meant to give that rose to Geet. I cannot believe this. DD has changed. He is giving roses to Geet how romantic 🤣 🤣" Pinky is literally dancing. 🤣 🤣
Having heard this Tasha swoons right there on the witness stand 🤣. Maan turns around to find that Sasha has also fainted and so have the other girls at Khurana constructions. 🤣
Geet is shocked and just not meeting his eyes.
Adi and the other male employees are sitting open mouthed and then Adi starts laughing. Maan glares at him and he stops. Maan glares at Pinky and she subsides. The judge decides it is time for a lunch break.
Judge: I think it is time for a lunch break. I think people are fainting from hunger. We will resume after the lunch break. 😳
