Well as a matter of fact..I know its not very easy for small town girls who leave their family..cut off all ties with them...and then start a new life in a city like Delhi all alone and that too when u r pregnent without the marriage tag...its India after all.....so that way CVs hv already shown Geet as a bold and fearless girl👍🏼...thats why I find it strange when members complain why Geet is not strong and breaks down so often😆..arre she is storng and she proved it by going against her own family..taking some real bold decisions👏..yes she breaks down often..but thats natural..she is just 18..she has emotions and pain hidden inside her heart which sometimes comes out in the open...she is not hving the experience to deal with high society people or argue with them..she is still in the learing process..so those fumblings or mistakes which she makes is shown in a very realistic manner..it happens when u r in a learning process..stepping for the first time in a big bad world without the support of your elders....there is noone to guide her except Maan to some extent....so its understandable why she is doing silly mistakes...I dunno if anyone has seen that serial Jassi here...I think they showed the struggle of a simple midddle class girl in a big bad corporate world in a fantastic manner👏..I find Jassi and Geet's character very similar that way...😳

@jyoti: agree on every word. to go against the family and decide to have the baby was bold enough decision for a simple, small town girl. and even the strongest person have their moment of weakness. where geet is only a teen-age, just started fighting for herself. cv's done very great job there.

This topic is kinda sensitive for me for 2 reasons:
1. I have a Geet in my life - whom i respect and admire immensely. She blows my mind. She didn't know her slimbag of a husband (arranged marriage) was already married, but chose to keep the baby anyway. She then proceeded to move to a foreign country wit a 1 yr old baby, got a Ph.D. and is now breaking the class ceiling at her work place. N she did it all on her own.

2. I am on the cusp of seriously considering single motherhood - if i opt for that route then it will be by my own choice and desire and would not mean i am closing forever the door to love...just not waiting around for it!

Here a few more thoughts I would add to the mix from Maan's perspective.

1. He knows Geet has sorrows in her life and he loves her for her strengths and weaknesses. That is innate to his character.

2. Geet's baby is a part of his blood too and he would be the first one to stop her from aborting if he knew about the baby

3. Y would he ever entrust his love to someone (Dev) who has dishonoured her in the past?

4. Maan is mature enough to handle this responsibility should he take it on.

@Nirjhor and Durga:Thats exactly my point..Geet is not a Robot...she has the right to break down and show her emotions..she is not competing for the role of Jhansi ki rani here where we r expecting her to take talwar in her hand and fight against everyone at one go😆😆..she is just a simple small town girl here who is still learning to deal with the harsh realities of life...
