ALAS! A decent post! 😉 Thank you for clearing everything up! Obviously I myself am ignorant in this subject as I'm too young & inexperienced in this matter (thank you God)😆 I didn't know all this therefore thank youuu! It did bug me though that people kept asking if Geet was preggers, its annoying because she has been diagnosed and therefore repeating the same question is just aaaggghhhh! 😳 I think people already wanted her to be heavily pregnant 😕 which is weird she's only 2/3 months pregnant! But thank you dear hopefully now everyone will stop asking IF GEET IS PREGNANT! 😡😆

Hi Eveline, I agreed and disagreed with your post.

The part I agreed with is that women can run, jump etc during their pregnant. Pregnant women need to be active during their pregnant.
I've experienced pregnant and every women are different. I know alot of my friends had a miscarriage during their first 3 months. but then watching Geet, it's not even realistic.
When i was watching closing, the knife went on her BACK but when Maan was healing Geet, it didn't show any knife injuries on her back. come on, the CV need to be realistic with Geet pregnant.
There is nothing wrong with Geet going up the stair with the suitcase, jumping etc it's not going to affect the baby, Even i run, jump or take heavy loads of clothes up and down the stairs and it didn't effect my pregnant.
However being pregnant, a woman has to take care of her needs such as taking iron pills etc or her emotional well being, if those needs are not met, it can risk her health.
My point is, i don't believe Geet is pregnant, because
1. Brij attack her
2. she's not showing
3. she refuse to get it confirm by the doctor
4. if the cv wanted us to know she's pregnant, then as a mother who wants to keep her child she would be more concern about the child's wellbeing and how's the child developing inside her.
it pretty common alot of woman who are pregnant wanted to know how their fetus is doing inside them.

Hi tara...
About there being more miscarriages in the first three months...its not due to jumpin or running or lifing weights...its more due to ur body's acceptance or unacceptance...uterus readiness or other complications..like the fetus not being able to hold on to the uterus wall...or under developed or...well there are a lot of reasons...which i donot want to get into details...
my point yup miscarriages happen in the first trimester..but not due to such casual bumps or falls
And i doubt if the cvs are going to show her taking calcium or iron or vitamin pills...😊..and it has been pointed out soo many times that she is an 18 year old with no one to guide her...so she might not be aware of this or she might be...who know..has it been shown???
Just look around us on this forum..girls here way older than 18 are soo ignorant of all this..and a small town girl like geet, who has been so sheltered and less exposed..will be even less aware of all this!!
The cvs cannot show her eating or taking medicines..that would be going into mundane details...right !!!!!😊
Brij attacked her..so ?????her stomach is still okay...her belly is fine..and baby is well protected.
Please read my post again..she wont show at all till after the end of fifthe month..which is not the case
She is not refusing to get it confirmed...she has not been to one..does that mean she is not pregnant...a lot of our grandmothers never went to doctors for pregnancies..they delivered healthy babies and sometimes did not....but in the past...women did not go to doctors..they still had children....I AM NOT SAYING THAT THIS SHOULD BE DONE...I HAVE ALREADY STATED SHE SHOULD HAVE GONE.
And she is pretty concerned about it...it is on her mind a lot..she thinks about it tooo often.
..but then again what has this got to do with the myths about pregnancies..this is not about geet being ignorant or negligible this is about the wrong beliefs the prevails amongst us regarding pregnancies.

OMG!! Took the words right outta my mouth!
I posted this on an earlier thread:

I don't understand why people are going overboard with this pregnancy thing. There are female basketball players that have played while pregnant for the first few months. Working in this field I've seen numerous women wear heels up till their 6th month, take maternity leave the day before she gives birth and return to work the next week looking as if she never was pregnant. We've also had numerous incidences where women were not aware they were pregnant until their water broke!!! Yet they went around running, jumping and leading their lives as per usual.

I've heard these comments so many times in this forum that it's starting to get quite annoying that you guys, most being girls, actually believe all this crap that women are so delicate when they're pregnant they shouldn't move!! Geet is only 18 and we've seen the younger the mother, the less impact her pregnancy has on her day-to-day life. It's ironic how many demand a more "realistic" story yet they preach unrealistic ideas.

Moreover, someone earlier mentioned the views many girls have of pregnancy is through soaps. That is a FRIGHTENING THOUGHT. That many people could remotely consider anything presented in these shows as fact is truly HORRIFYING! Get your heads out of the clouds. We are priveleged to be in an era where technology allows easy access to vast amounts of ACCURATE and FACTUAL information. Clearly the people on this forum have access to the internet. How about you use it?

Just a quick mention about the supplements: although they help they are NOT MANDITORY. many women give birth just fine without them. Furthermore, about their emotional state - it doesn't correlate to a direct affect on the child's health but there is a point about mood swings. I doubt hindi soap CVs are that clever but Geet's childhood behaviour and out-of-control emotions clearly show a hormonally imbalanced person - pretty much confirming the pregnancy.

And as far as i know the jumping and running that geet has been shown doing...was pretty casual and not heavy duty..it was something that can happen normally too...honestly women run marathons in their pregnancies and play sports..so this should not be a problem. No Dear no Women is advised to do heavy running or marathons in their First Trimester its a strictly NO NO
And uterus not supporting pregnancies is a defect in uteruses...and it does not happen becuase of casual running or jumping...the uteruses are weak and incapable of carrying pregnancies by themselves...right!! In some cases...In some case its Just the Opp loads of working can get your Uterus Muscles Weak and Incapable of supporting the growing Fetus
And nausea happends because of lack of sugar in your body...when sugar level drops u are nauseated...thats why u should snack often and not go hungry..coz that is what causes nausea...thats why women throw up in the morning coz they have had nothing to eat for the whole night leading to this...Wrong Nausea happens due to the Increase in level of HCG....
Thanks for a logical response!!😊

Thanx for being such an eye-opener....

Actually I'm a teenager and wondered a lot about everything that IF members posted regarding her pregnancy. I was always tempted to give in my own comments but always refrained from it. Being a teenager, I actually don't have any knowledge about the issue, and whatever I've learnt it's based on telly soaps and some movies...

Actually I used to believe that people have to be really cautious when pregnant but I feel relieved now....

So, I can always enjoy her chirpy little acts without worrying for side effects....
Besides, I would be very sad had she lost her baby to such queer things...

👏🤗 Thanx for writing this....
