Well it was a great laugh riot! Better this than have them have a fist fight! Seriously, I have no complaints about last night's episode. I think it was fun. Very well put, I agree!

Justa final note--
I'll defend the CVs once, and I'm hopeful that most of you will let them off this once, BUT
they better not make this a regular occurence, and they better not change Maan's character completely, or I'll stop watching.
Ghalti ek dafa maaf ho sakti hai, baar baar nahin.
Let's hope they take note, and remember that it was the angry young man that we all fell for, not the nok-khok wala pagal admi they showed last night.
Let's hope for a return to normal service soon!

Hi,
Agree with ur analysis completely. Was surprised that the episode didn't have many takers. The whole thing reminded me of Tom and Jerry for some reason.
I think this is the first time in the history of Hindi serials, especially in a drama, that we are seeing such unmitigated fun. And that too from the leads.

I didn't think Maan's character was lessened in any way. This is what Geet does to him..creates a chink in him and makes him act unlike himself. It was a delightful aspect in a man who isn't affected by anyone or anything...someone who takes pride in finding solutions for every problem.....well, this is one 'problem' he isn't going to find a solution to...that's what is driving him up the wall (other than Geet, of course!) and poor guy knows it...
..I thought the whole episode was like a metaphor for his ungovernable feelings for Geet.

Sorry, forgot to inroduce myself...I used be on the forum a couple of years ago but had stopped watching serials. It's a testiment to Geet and its leads that they dragged me back and to start posting.

I must add this incidence.... I am recently married and stay out of India, I missed Geet yesterday and couldn't find episodes on You-tube. So I read post and got bit upset that bad episode types.... As its my fav, my Husband searched it on dailymotion some other site.. He is not fan of GEET... but he heard dialogues of Geet / Drashti and started seeing episodes with me. GEET was enjoyable and we were laughing on each dialogues and expressions .... that I felt episode interesting and lively as Maan giving up for Bedsheet and sleeping down ..... all similar to husband care for wife .... I still do care with his ego and anger in mind...

every man changes with time and maan is no exception....i dont think he was always this aggressive, rude....some events he faced in the past has changed him into a 'robot' as geet called him once.

some reason from his past which is yet to be revealed has caused him to become bitter towards women....he has closed his heart for any sort of emotions....he continuously tries to deny that geet is slowly opening up his pent up emotions....but how long can he refuse to accept facts...that he is in love with geet is his present day truth and accordingly his persona is changing....his attitude towards geet is mellowing in many ways....and this is very natural and proves that he is no superman.

maan first kicked out geet at 3am widout pausing to think where wud a young, lonely girl go....this same maan became worried in the morning wen he cudnt find geet anywhere in the outhouse...

irony, rite? at 3 in the night he was not worried wen he pushed her out....but in the morning in broad daylight he is going crazy thinking where geet has gone....
love can make a man do crazy things which is not thinkable at other times.

I agree with the topic starter. Well well said. šŸ‘

I'll repeat what I wrote in another thread:
From a character perspective, MSK would become very unidimensional if all they ever showed was his stern side. The beauty of having Geet in his life is that he learns to live life without inhibitions. The reason he is struggling so much with his feelings for her is his inability to lose control. Let's face it MSK is a control freak/perfectionist so these welcomed changes that Geet is bringing in his nature is fun to watch. Its called character development. Besides, their relationship would become rather stagnant if Maan didn't play along - it adds to the comedy.
