@Part 21-lovely part..I guess Maan saw Brij on the road and thats the reason of his over-protectiveness for Geet..its so adorable to see Geet understanding her Maan sir so perfectly..now that she has realized her love,all her acts(which were their earlier like feeling rewarded by seeing him smile etc. but she didnt knew the real reason of her acts)seem all more lovable..Dadi is really naughty😉..telling Maan "aapki Geet"/..she knows exactly how and when to tease Maan..lol..in short a very nice part..loved every bit of it😃

@Part 22-Maan in black sherwani😍..so indirectly Geet gave it to Maan and she was chori-chori nihaaroing him😉😳..Maan also gifted her a dress and she was left with no choice but to wear it as she was caught red-handed😆.. I am not lying and believe me when I say this-I actually feel like watching Maneet/Geet while reading your updates..as you said earlier that my comments look as if I am taking them as episodes and I really do so..thats the beauty of your writing..👍🏼👏..update next part soon🤗

vo unse mile ...aise mile jaise bas akhri bar mile......

they stood there lost in the eyes of each other ..they had forgotten where they are ...who they are...what they are supposed to do...what they are not ..just stood there eyelocked........the gaze didn't break until a kid bumped on them ...and another kid passed between them running ....

ahem....uh.....maan cleared his throat ....

vo...tum...i mean ...ahhh..yeh suit achha hai....bohot...he finished..

geet conveyed a soft thanx...for the suit...while looking down..while her fingers were ...fidgeting with her dupatta

no..i mean...tum..

she looked up in his eyes..and again looked down...

tum..vo...maan took a deep breath and continued...yeh dress tumpe.. I mean.. tum..acchi .. no.. I mean..kh......he tried his best to let her know how beautiful she is looking today ...but ....couldnt ...

geet shied .... looked down...knowing what he is was trying say ... a hue ran over her face....turning red in blush ......

she clered her throat ... "uha chale...??".and indicated him towards the mandap...

phere had started ...so they moved towards the mandap.he stood next to her ....continuously sneaking quick glances on her face......she could feel his eyes on her...she blushed ...

"samne dadima .."she informed him...

"Toh.....??"he whispered ...

She didn't know what to say next .....she felt odd ....standing just next to him ...and his continuous gaze on her .....dadima had a strange smile hovering on her lips..so she decided to go ...and stand near to dadima.....when she was about to go...

She felt her bangle is tucked....!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking down ..she found he has held it with a finger..

A chill ran through her spine....she looked up at his face...which was expressionless looking towards the bride n groom ...

She was blushing hard ....she struggled to release it from his finger 's trap....but he strengthen his grip on it ....definitely not going to let her go.....she smiled ...

Maan sir bhi na....kya karu mai inka...?

Slowly he slipped the bangle ...and held one finger of hers...that sent thousands of butterflies in her stomach ...

Koi dekh lega...she whispered while trying to keep her concentration fixed on the bridegroom ..

Sab age dekh rahe hai ..tumhe bhi age hi dekhna chahiye...he informed confidently .

At this moment dadi called geet ..to bring something from the storeroom ....the thing was not that necessary ...but dadi emphasized on it ...just to see the expression on his grandson's face.....

And so right she was....

Maan had to let geet go....he left her finger unwillingly....

Smiling at his soured mood ..she was going upstairs.....

But suddenly she stopped .....hearing a conversation going on between two woman....who were invited as a guest to the ceremony ...

I m not just getting one thing ....khurana families apne bade bte ki shadi na karwake ....chote ka kiu karwa dia.....? one said...ab dekho na.....uske aur ek bhai ka bhi shadi ho raha hai....

The next woman : Offho..now don't tell me u don't know anything ...

First woman : no ...i really don't understand ..why don't they get maan married ....!!

2^nd woman : aree karwaye the..i mean karwane wale the.....shadi ke pichle din tut gayi shadi....

1^st woman : accha....!!! ...mujhe to pata hi nahi tha....

2^nd woman : pata kaise chalega ..tum to nayi nayi aayi ho.....yeh bohot purani bat hai...

!st woman ; batao na ...kya baat huyi ...jo shadi se ekdin pehle shadi hi tut gayi....aur vo bhi maan singh khurana ka..?

2^nd woman : bechare ke naseeb hi futa hai ....shadi pichle din pata chala ....ladki pregnant hai ....

1^st : kyaaa....?kiska baccha maan ka....??is

2^nd : areeh nahi beokuf ....!!! kisi aur ka baccha hai.......pata nahi kiska....woh log chupke chupake shadi karwa rahe the ladki ka...pata hai....akhbar me bhi aagayi thi yeh baat .. maan aur us ladki ka photo bhi aaya tha akhbar me...bohot badnami huyi inlogon ki ......

Maine suna hai ....usike bad se hi ...maan ne tai kar lia hai ....shadi nahi karega...

1^st woman : tch tch...!! bohot bura hua.....!!bechara maan ...!!..pata nahi kaha muh kala karke aayi thi who ladki .....khud to bad nam huyi...uparse maan ko bhi kar gayi ...

2^nd woman : chalo ...humein kya karna ...bade ghar aur unki choti badi batein....

1^st woman: haan...kisine sun lia to panga padh jayega...chodho....!!

But they didn't know who has heard the whole conversation ....and how the truth had taken the earth below her feet ....

She ran upstairs....while trying her best not to cry ....but their voices were haunting her ....tried to run away from the voice....run away from the truth ...

Ladki pregnant hai .....!!!

Kisi aur ka baccha hai .....!!!

Pata nahi kahase muh kala kar ke aayi....!!!

Khud to badnam huyi....maan ko bhi kar gayi !!!

She couldn't take it anymore ....she clutched the curtain ....

Babaji....!!!!yeh kya ho raha hai mere sath ?...i had decided to tell him everything ...but why this bitter truth coming in front of me,.....that I cant do ...i shouldn't do .......!!!!she rested her head with the window....and broke in sobs....

While maan who was waiting for geet to comeback...was being unrest .....still no sign of hers.....what making her take so long ...?kahi kuch hua to nahi use.... he decided to go upstairs and check on her ....

He found her standing infront a window ...facing him back.....

Geet ...!! what are you doing ...? he called her out ...but no sign of response...

Geet ...why are u mum ....?he touched her shoulder...

All of sudden geet turned back ..and clung to his chest .....and poorly broke in sobs...

He was stunned by her act .....clueless what's making her cry so much ...

Kya hua geet ...?kiun ro rahi ho....while he had enclosed her in his arms....

Geet batao mujhe .....kya hua achanak....abhi to tum khus thi ...niche shadime....achanak aisa kya hua...?kisine kuch kaha ....??

She didn't reply to any of his questions but cried harder encircling his neck by her arms...

Maan was taken aback by her act ....he had never see her crying so much ..except when he had injured his hand and came back home after 30 hours.....only that day geet had lost her self control like this.....

Shhhhhhhh...!! He patted her head ....soothing her back...

Chup ho jao geet .......mai hu na.....kuch nahi hua...shhhhh....!! he rubbed her back.....but she didn't stop crying ...

He felt her trembling with each sob in his chest ....his heart was aching seeing her in so much pain.....

He tried to pull her and check her face ....but she didn't let him release herself...she clutched him more tightly ....as if he is running away from him...

Geet was breaking ....she needed a shelter .....maan had been always her savior ..shelter ...but when she had to part from him ...when she was poorly in love with him......she couldn't take it any more......she saught shelter in his arms.....the man she wants most in this world.....the man she trusts most ...the man had always taken her pain away ....now he is aching her heart ...

Maan was clueless about her act ....he thought ..about the day ...when she had clung to him like this and cried..... because I was in pain....she had cried like this...

Geet ....kahin tumhare dard ke wajah mai to nahi...? he asked ...

She pulled her head ....and looked at his face ....she clutched his collars ..but didn't move away .....and looked at his face....still crying ....there was something in her eyes....alleging begging ......asking for help....her eyes were complaining ........she was complaining silently ...

her face had turned red......her lips were swollen ....trembling in pain.....eyes had turned red....she could barely breath ....but she was still crying ...

he held her in one hand by her waist .....and cupped her face by one hand...

kya hua...? mujhe bhi nahi bataogi ...?maan couldn't see her like this....he could never tolerate tears in her eyes.....she didn't know how much he hated those tears in her big brown eyes....

he pulled her face to his...merely 1 – 2 cm away from his lips...and whispered .... mai tumhe aise nahi dekh sakta....mat ro....plz...he drew her face closer ...and pressed his lips on her forehead ....

geet closed her eyes ....shuddering at the first touch of his lips...

he kissed her forehead as if he is trying to kiss away her pain....he didn't know why she was so much in pain....but only one thing he knew.....he cant see her like this....her pain was piercing his heart ....he held her tight to him.... just didn't want to think of anything ....his geet was suffering ...!!
