Maan Not at Fault! - My Analysis 07/16

I saw today's epi and it was gr8, I'm glad CVs are not making Maan all puppy types immediately after he realizes that Geet is changing him cuz that would've been too drastic for a change in his character as much as we'd love to see that, it would've bee really illogical, so kudos to the CVs for not bowing to our wishes all the time, and also reminding us that they're in charge of the story and inputs by the audience are important, but we should know that they control the content and the script!😃

So back to the point, I feel equally for Maan as I did for Geet today, I mean if you saw the lift scene, wowww, what portrayal by Gurmeet, there was so much anguish and pain and anger and frustration in every turn and action of Maan, the way he was trying to avoid Geet as he knew he was being unfair to her, and his attempts of ignoring her questionss and all, it can be seen as he is in true pain, and the first chance he gets he pounces on Geet as the lion does on his prey😳 And the way he was shakinggg, omgg, did you see how much he had to control to get away from her, I truly believe he was gonna kiss her, esp after Geet started touching her lips and got really scared.
You simply can't be getting mad at Maan you guys, this man has never experienced this feeling before and he's in big time denial mode, which actually makes a lot of sense if we have kept a track of his character graph, just a rain scene is not enough to melt a guy like Maan Singh Khurana into confessing his love for Geet as he's not a normal character as we see in other showss!
And to be honest, I'm loving this as it makes their story very "hatke" and so unpredictableee!
Also, I have to mention that Drashti was superb today as well, one of her best performancess in the lift scene, she gave excellent expresssions of confusion and determination to get justice from Maan, and then disappointment at Maan's comments on how she should stay away from him. And you can really see how her face/eyes were so questioning of Maan's attitude, the gal was absolutely cluelesss!😲

Don't be disappointed MaanEetians, I've a feeling this is a very crucial moment of their love story which is a good thing as that means the story is going through a major transition and not getting stuck at the "Sasha/Tasha and Office politics" as that is not the core of the show!😃
This is a really good sign since as soon as the office track started, I was really scared about the future of the story and was kind of expecting them to go on the typical lines of other showss and spending way too much time on Sasha's character, but apparently they haven't given her that much of importance so far only what was necessary. Even Adi and Pinky are not given wayy too much screen time which is not required anyways, and they've kept the focus on Geet and Maan!😳

So cheer up all, and keep your fingers crossed for next week, and remember no matter what Maan and Geet are meant to bee!👍🏼

Agree with u 100%!! i like the way that the CVs are sticking too Maan's rudeness for now and continuing with the denial mode, he is a tough nut to crack and there is definietly something in his past, i suppose that is holding him back from Geet even more!!! Absolutely loved maan's dialogue in the lift scene especailly the emotion one, superb acting by both!! Yup i love how they focus on Maan and Geet and even after all the tension with the lift scene and all, they always lighten up our mood by some comedy here and there like with dadi's dialogues or the chapal scene!!!😆

Hey Kashish,really appreciate ur post..I completely agree with you..
According to me,Confessing is life tine commitment..Before that u should be sure what feeling is it..Only then you cna go ahead..Its the similar case in Maan.
Maan is not sure aboput his feeling..He doesnt know whether its love,crush or attraction..Only time can tell..So its better to give them a time to realize what feeling they have.
And I am really enjoying th current track..I would really appreciate the effort of CVs to bring such a beautiful story

I read that a lot of people were upset with Maan's reaction to Geet, but I think that was needed! You are absolutely right in that, Maan is keeping true to his character! I know he's a bit harsh to Geet, but like I said, it's needed for both Maan and Geet.
Now just waiting for Monday to see what happens!
