Was'nt Gurmeet all kinds of awesome yest ...in that emotional scene?.IMHO he handled it so well.....normally tough guys on screen fail this test .Their emotional scenes look silly and unconvincing.Bt here you could really feel his pain...his trauma , his struggle ...That was one hell of a performance.

To something else .....i too have been defending Maan and i firmly believe his behaviour has nothing to do with him being an MCP or anything and neither is it only about loosing control...

Copypasting from what i wrote else where....in 2 different posts.

....Its not just abt loosing control .

I feel that he is scared .....scared of being hurt again.There is something about his past that has turned him into a person who hates emotion.Well what it is ..your guess is as good as mine.remember he once made a statement "" aurat dard ke siva kuch de nahi sakta''. Something about his past ..something related to a woman has scarred him.I feel it would be just too simplistic to dismiss his attitude as just typical MCP thing.

Maan is more complex ...and there are reasons ...solid ones for his behaviour. But should that be an excuse for what he does now?...No . Still it would be unfair to judge him too harshly ...because at the end of the day Maan Singh Khurana too is a human being --- one who is falliable and one who makes mistakes. Will he be able to get a hold on himself and calmly analyse his behaviour.......when he does that he will surely make amends for his behaviour.

And Maaan..I was taken aback by the ferocity of his reaction .....There is something about his past that has not just hurt him...looks like it has scarred him.It not about loosing control if one falls in love .

He , it seems has built that wall around him ...to protect himself....he does'nt want to be hurt again.The wall has protected him so far ......till this bubbly girl came along to crack it .

And Maan is scared of the consequences....scared of investing his emotions in people......Perhaps the hurt has been too much ....for him to ever forget.

@ Priya..... Yeah ... Even I feel that you are absolutely right.... Maan is not scared of loosing control in Love...... But something from his Past had terribly scarred him...... Now he is too scared to open his heart to let anyone enter....
Geet had already cracked the wall he had built around his heart..... And its crumbling fast...... Voila.... Our Maan is in a Panic Mode.... Its Fight or Flight......
Fighting against the attraction proved useless...... Now running..... Making himself as far away from Geet as possible..... Whenever Geet coming near, he is retaliating back with Anger..... But its actually the anger against himself, and his weakness towards Geet rather than at Geet....
Poor Maan is suffering a lot...... He cannot tolerate anyone hurting his precious Geet.... The moment he see tears in Geet's eyes he himself gets hurts.....
Now with the knowledge that he himself is the reason for Geet's pain and tears won't be something Maan can ignore or even live with.... Its going to be very hard heart wrenching days ahead of Maan....

I completely understand him, because of his past, he's scared of love, he's scared of losing her in the future as well, isliye he tries to be rude with her .. I hope Geet will receiprocate the feelings as well, I'm sure she's doing it unknowingly, but she's yet to realize tht as well, as of now she thinks wht she has for Maan is only respect 😛
