I was just watching today's episode and a thought occurred to me whilst watching the elevator scene.....I found it very symbolic the way Geet was running hard to catch up before the doors closed....now I dnt know if that was the intention of or the purpose if you like....but if you think of the elevator doors as the doors to Maan's heart and Geet placing her foot between the doors and entering even though the doors were trying hard to close then it's exactly the situation Maan is in right now.....no matter how hard Maan tries to close the doors of his heart Geet will always somehow or another manage to breach his defenses and enter.....

I was just wondering if anyone else thought this scene was symbolic.....Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it??😕

a very good introspection and i totally agree with ur analysis.mann knew geet have her foot b/w the door and was requestin to spk.to him even then he pressed the button to close the lift door which was highly inapp.as it could have hurt geets foot but he didnt cared.he was back as old mann who didnt cared but geet didnt give up and wow she opened the lift gates frm where did she get that strength.

actually I missed it the first time I watched it....but I loved the elevator scene so much I had to go back and watch it again and that's wen it occurred to me😊

signifiaction of this scene as interpreted by u is to the point ,no matter what mann do he can never shut the gates of his heart for geet ever again.its gonna be uphill task for him to get to his knees to accept that but then who said true love was easy to get.

thnx for agreeing😃...I thought I was reading too much into it....but it will be an uphill task for Maan to accept his feelings for Geet....maybe something drastic will happen to make him realise and come to terms with his feelings?😕

actually as a big shock....i only watched the episode once today....but now that i remembered that elevator scene.....to YT i go!!! I can't believe that i was so blah today from watching it once i didn't pay much attention to the elevator scene...even though it took my breath away!!!! 😆

Now i must go watch it again!! Again....again.....and again!!

Apart from the rest of the episode that was the only scene worth remembering today....you should definitely go and watch it again and again😆

SUM, what a great analysis ! Very thought provoking😃 I have not seen epi, but I can totally see it--Maan's face and attitude and Geet's strength and determination. Maan can never close his heart to Geet no matter what he does. She is like a magnet that will attract his feelings and he will be tortured without Geet in his life.

This symbolism proves that he can't keep geet
away from his heart...she will get in no matter how hard he tries to stop
her.
Btw I love the intensity in maan's eyes...
...he expresses a lot with those eyes.

He seems to be afraid from himself...trying his best to run away
from his feelings for geet.
