I know indian soaps are meant to "Never" be taken seriously...no law/medical situations that are shown are true even the littlest bit.
Every aspect of the life of the protagonists is fiction. Even the regular laws of pHYSICS AND PROBABILITY do not apply here:
--Heroines will always fall, however slow the rotatioal motion, or momentum, or however non-slippery the floor(physics)
--The heroine will ALWAYS be caught by the HERO. Always. And by NOONE ELSE. NOONE. only hero. noone. and she will always be caught. always.(probability can go ....^&*)

So , I very mush watch the serials keeping these simle basic rules in mind , and enjoy as best I can.

But lately, I dont know, the CVs seem to be from kindergarten.
First it was the blindfold-geet-in-office scene about which the less said the better.
As it is , Geet a simple girl who definitely has no architectural or engineering background, is minding a project of the size Khurana constructions has neva seen before! hmm.
But all she seems to have done is suggest a few "middle-class" ideas and organize a party.
She still doing secretarial jobs like running around for misspelt invitations and MANUALLY writing names and addresses on them.

technological advancements neva seem to figure on soaps except as snazzy cars and ...and ..oh yes..random laptops shown backwards. no computers for secretaries. She shd have been working on laptops, digital diaries, but all she does is tote a JHOLA and scribble on ancient notepad with a ball pen.

On top of it, today Maan replaces her as project head....
Gives Sasha notes on how the party is to be organized(Sasha the architect)
Geet is already prepping for the party somewhere...(so why is maan giving sasha notes)..
and the party day arrives THE VERY NEXT DAY.
Maan wanted the media ablaze with this event, wanted top models, top class food, to be arranged in ONE day. yup.
without notifying geet whos at the other end of the spectrum with her middle-class ideologies.

Why cant they show some aspect of reality. Just a smidgen of reality. I am pretty sure it will take nothing away from the incredible chemistry of Maaneet.

Sorry for venting out thus, but today's episode was the hair that broke the camels back.
Stiil love MAAnEET, and hope that Maan dsn't kick her out of the office.

😳 😳 😳

No point in expecting reality from a soap...
If u want to see a bit of reality in an Indian soap watch Rishta.com.

R.com was an amazing show...First of its kind!!!! But.........I can't watch it more than once!!! I loved it, appreciate it, still remember it..thats IT!!
But the so called "Indian soaps", though stupid and ridiculous I could watch million times!!!!! There goes all the difference.............
Indian soaps are meant for only entertainment or a perfect escapist gateway, which r they providing 100% by hook or crook!!

I guess...here it is not about intelligence...Indians are very Intelligent in any matter...

The point here is..Indians don't want to see those things on TV which happen in real world...it's like why do we watch that we watch everydayor for that matter which happen to us everyday..Basically CV's are the people who think Indian audience can never grow and want to remain in illogical Fantasy world. This is wrong..coz Even we are those people who loved Rishta. com
so a message to CV's...Yes we love fantasies but atleast have some logic..

What you said above....EXACTLY what i was thinking!!
If he wants the party to be that way..then why did he tell Sasha abt it..shdn't he be just telling Geet..?? That part just doesn't make sense at all! I mean who is supposed to plan the party..? Geet or Sasha..? 😕.........

@ Rolzz-----Hey you are right...I mean, I have seen Rishta.com and liked it , but neva watched any episode more than once.yup. And i do watch these clips , of our regular soaps bout a zillion times.
ITs juat that , sometimes there is absolutely no need for such ridiculousness. Just a wee bit intelligent or decently logical sequence will also add to the story.
Instead of showing like they have for instance,
tehy could have created a 40-50 sec montage where they show geet prepping for the party on her own and maan working with sasha, just to show that they prepared for the party for atleast a week.!
some such.

yes they say that the serial and some incidents in the serial is based on reality but i dint find much reality in any of the shows

and made up my mind may be reality is not being real
Geet is already prepping for the party somewhere...(so why is maan giving sasha notes).. i noticed it and thought may be another mistake by cvs as they do offen in the serial
@ratika89 : i agree with u
