Thanks Bridgette for the info, I had missed this important post from you.

My God , now I understand why the show had suddenly begun to drag and was getting self contradictory in many points . Infact, often , even if I like the episodes, I kept getting this feeling that they were standalone pieces to be either liked or rejected ...the overall flow and connectivity which had earlier been there right from Hoshiarpur days, was missing

My God, I hope geet stays worth watching till its end and let them play it and end it gracefully without dragging it or spoiling its beauty.

or do you think this is star one strategy to have priya start a show, give it momentum and the hand it over to another , taking her to start another ...since some say she was the first writer of DMG as well ? Now they r showing promos of another upcoming show on star one, may be they've taken Priya there ? i wonder

Thanks bDgT for pointing this out. I couldn't understand why I was steadily losing interest in the show especially when most people in the forum were and are still oohing and ahhing over it.

God save the show...every time the writers change, perspectives change. Ur right . Those small nuances are a thing of the past and the whole show is now mostly on the superficial level.

Still, Am watching it from force of habit and a special fondness for Dhrasti.

was just reading these earlier post made around july, while the serial was still going good. but looks like we had predicted well... coz ultimately, form that time onwards.... it has never been the same.... jerks. repetition, not as perfect characterization, people changing characters... te result is all there to see...

sigh, i hope they clean it up

@pippa @deejay: I am wondering how the whole story will pan out in the end. Keep hearing rumors of Channel interfering. Are they true? Do they make them add/delete/modify tracks? Since I am so new to teleland, I ain't so sure though. What do you guys think?

i guess and suspect the channel has already interfered....even though i dont have substantial facts to claim that. i am not sure when, but quite a few episodes ago that during the display of names, it was said the concept as starone. its not shown now though. also i am not sure how much can a channel influence a show.......

The quality of writing has certainly gone downhill over the last couple of months...

I don't even mean the day to day episodes- which i am willing to put down to the soap being a daily...so there will be variation in quality

I dont have an issue with the broad story...its the narrative that is letting the whole series down! The story is moving forward maybe in spurts but it is moving....

the narrative and execution leave a lot to be desired
