As Abs runs out…she bumps into Adi coming towards her cabin…
Kahan bhag rahi ho…aag lag gayee kya..Abs..! are you okay…?
Abs says yeah…I just..uh…wanted to go to the loo….
Oho….itni…joor..se! and laughs what were you doing..? anyway I was coming to call you for lunch…as he says this…Mann is coming out of Abs's cabin…and he raises a mental eyebrow…. Hmmm! So this is the reason why Abs has her tail is on fire…! Something very very fishy… two brows raised…in a dancing fashion..
Seeing Mann he decides to run a game…Say Mann! Why don't you join us for lunch…tumne khaya to hoga nahin..unless… Abs here fed you something….cheeky..cheeky Adi… raises an eyebrow to Mann
Mann knowing when he is being a scape goat retorts..i think Abolee is the kind to increase apetite rather than satiate one… and bobs his head to the side waiting for a comment from his object of attention.
Abs..shrugs and says..to each his own…I am hungry and Adi I will join…will you Mann? Huh you don't get me that easily trapped Mann she thinks and then says..shi…! I just called him to join us..the mental kick on the butt there for you Abs..way to go!
Mann says…I am hungry..too…lowering his voice so that only Abs can hear it…and joins them
Abs has butterflies in her stomach hearing this… oh it is going to be a difficult lunch.
Lunch is with Sasha and Tasha as well…
Adi gives a signal to Sasha and Tasha to watch out for the fireworks between these two…and the lunch was a real treat for the sleuths…
Mann and Abs were very fidgety around each other..the nervous glances they kept darting..at each other were very suspicious and Adi add fuel to the fire…the only one..who is a bil sulky was Tasha..tho..she did want to know..what did Abs have that she didn't and why did Mann not look at her even… tho she tries be as smart as Abs and puts in enough jokes and repertoire that amuses Adi and Sasha and even Abs but..Mann seems to be only aware of Abs…and he calls her Abolee in such a sexy way! Twisting her mouth..
Looking this Mann for the first time speaks to Tasha…what happened Tasha, food not good? NO she blurts out..my thoughts…and shuts up with her hand on the mouth..everyone including Mann laughs and says..so tell your thoughts Tasha..tum kabse…not good thoughts sochne lagi…in a teasing tone he gives a half smile to Tasha… Tasha literally swoons and Abs thinks Flirt! Just a few minutes back I was in his lap and here he is…with Tasha…Shameless rogue..!
Adi watches Abs dagger eyes pointed at mann and thinks here is another clue..she is jealous…wow…

Adi's suspicions were confirmed something was up…
Sasha…had been the silent observer of all this..and looks at Adi and narrows it that yes..you and I were right…
Sasha..and Adi..share an understanding moment..and all get back to their lunches…

Mann couldn't take his mind off her thought..to top it off when Vicky called at night..the first thing he asked..so how did it go with Verma…and Mann ticked him off..saying you were deliberating letting me think Verma was a guy isn't it? Vicky said no..i call her that!..crossing his fingers…and is dumbfounded when he says I know Abolee already, I met her in Paris.
Vicky recovering from the shock slowly said..Say that again..Abolee! Is that her name?
Wow..only you bro..only you have the charm I swear to get that girl to admit she is a woman…. How did you do it…
I fell for her…the minute I laid eyes on her and she immediately abused me from that fantastic real quick..

I remember how incensed you had come back from that trip from France…I thought it was Chloe..but..no…no…Abolee it is…
With a laugh he hears the line click as his brother puts the phone down on him…Vicky claps his hand together and says…now..we are cooking… how the mighty fall!
Mann relived the Paris night and became..hard…damitt this woman..drives him crazy…without even doing anything….and goes to take a cold cold shower and have another sleepless night…
The next week follows on the same keel as the first day…the stare…get more intense, the cold showers get longer but the work front is going smoothly..way too smoothly…Mann relies on Abs more and more and wants her even more after the first week with her quick intelligence, insightful knowledge and thorough architecture development. He had yet to meet anyone man or woman who was quite like her.
He was slowly but surely coming to trust her decisions and methods. He was impressed with even the way she handled colleagues and support staff…everyone seemed to have something nice to say about her inspite of her taxing work ethics. She was stern yet gentle…Oh God! This woman…he had to do something about the effect she had on him..and uncomfortably shifts in his chair…
Chapter 10 continued...
Just then a knock and enters the object of his dreams'
Oui Abolee!
Abs still felt shivers down her spine when he called her name! he said it with an inflexion all Mann that made her name sound sexy a bit of French accent coming there'

They had started speaking in French when the rest of the crew was not around; both of them found it refreshing to refresh their second language, of course it also bound them in a cocoon like a secret alliance which no one knew about.

Okay good! We have set everything up. Adi asks Abolee to walk everyone through it so that everyone knows what they are all supposed to do.
As she is speaking and going through the demo, Mann has a half smile on his face and is oogling Abolee..his personal machine torture. He didn't know he was so masochistic.
He realizes everyone is looking at him with questioning eyes and straightens and say'
Yeah that's good'
Abolee loses it just then'All this time you have been sitting there like a silliy puppy wagging its tail with tongue hanging out and waiting for his master to pet him expression and you want me to believe you saw and heard everything we just talked about?
Mann you better pull yourself together! Mutters to himself and says now Abolee I was not having expression of that sort at all. Adi, Tasha and Sasha smothered their laughs and he then put his boss foot forward and said..Guys could I have a minute with Abolee please and nods his head towards the door.
The crew with knowing glances to each other file out of the conference room and head straight for the canteen'they have to confer on what just happened there..
Mann slowly getting up from his chair, putting both his hands in pockets strides towards Abs with slow panther steps which makes Abs go back into the wall. He continues till he is no more than a few inches from her face..she can see no count the flecks in his chocolate brown eyes and says'
Now Abolee, you didn't have to do that in front of others did you? First you keep teasing me with those come hither eyes, then you lick your lips (as she was doing just then and stops to look at her lips then ) as if you want my lips on yours and then when I don't do anything fight temptation, you insult me in front of my staff and expect me to take it lying down (well that brought up other images in his head).
Abs just gulps looks down'
Mann'not so brave when you are alone are you? Your defense team is not here..what are you going to do Abolee.. ma chre fille? And leans even closer.
Abs heart skips a beat or two. Still she cant not fight..this'

Trapped the only thing Abs think of was'kneeing him..and Mann says don't even think about it! I have you this time Abolee! You surprised me then'I am prepared now' and no I am not going to kiss you!

Abs opens her mouth to say something vile and he looks at her in a way which shuts her up.
She again licks her lips wondering what to do then wildly looks up to see the smoldering passion in Mann eyes.
No I didn't do that !licks again' and then slumps into Mann and says..God' stop looking at me like that..Mann!
Like how Sweetheart, he whispers! You know you have driven me wild this whole week'Abolee could not deny the looks they had exchanged'they sure were steamy
But how could she like this man, this arrogant, insolent'oh'ok..sexy'ravishingly handsome, giving sleepless nights handsome man' Then she says..
