"Maan sat there crouched in the shadows. He had never heard Geet....The Geet Handa.....Theeki Mirchi....stutter like that. She must have been really in a shock.
"Arre wah...Tumhare senses mere presence se itne tuned ho gayi...tum mere aahat bhi pehchane lagi ho..." he grinned at her.
"Not reached the stage yet...I just recognized you damn cologne smell.....and am sure Bhaiyya will also recognize that it is a male's too....." Geet glared at him.
"Yeh le....horlicks peele..." Brij handed her a mug and sat down on the bed sipping from his own mug.
"Geet...Kya hua?" he put one arm around her. Geet looked at him...her hurt and sadness on an open display in her eyes.
"Tu usse chahne lagi hain?" Brij looked at her piercingly.
Brij engulfed her in a half hug. She was his little sister and he loved her.....she was simple and straight forward unlike his other sister NT. Geet would never do things that would harm the family name in any way. He trusted her beyond infinity.
"Haan...magar main kehta hoon. Tu bhag jaa yahaan se...Main ghar pe jaake bata doonga ki tu ghar pe nahi mili aur tera koi ata pata nahi hain..."
"Bhaiyya..." she choked. She couldn't understand how all this was happening to her on one day. What surprised her the most was that her brother...the very brother whom she had seen ruthlessly punish indisciplined wrong doers and rowdies was asking her to run away.
"Geet....tu bahut acchi hain. Main nahi chahta hoon ki koi tujhse teri khushi cheen le....Tu uss ladke se pyaar karne lagi hain...Toh jaa...bacha le apni zindagi ko...Chali jaa yahaan se..." he insisted.
Geet stood up...it felt unrealistic. Like some movie....
"Bhaiyya aap hosh mein toh hain? Main kahaan jaoongi?" she asked.
"Geet mujhse mat poonch. Aur mujhe batana bhi mat tu kahaan jaa rahi hain. Kyunki agar mujhe bata diya toh main kabhi bhi jasbaat mein aakar Daarji ko bata doonga...Isiliye...tu chali jaa yahaan se..." he stood up with full force.
He looked up. She was ready...ready to fly away to an unknown horizon. He walked up to her and gave her a quick hug...Words were best left unspoken he didn't trust his voice...and she, hers.
"Jaa Geet...aur apna khayaal rakhna...mujhe phone kar lena agar koi pareshaani hain."
She hurried out of the door and called for a cab. The last image she saw was Brij waving his hand and silently wiping off a tear with his scarf. Geet closed her eyes....
She was hanging dangerously to the pipeline at the back window of Maan's room.
"Mere paas zyaada time nahi hain...Main delhi chod ke jaa rahi hoon. Tum mera leave application bana lena. Aur Dadi ko bata dena. Jab situation control mein hoga main wapas aa jaungi...Theek hain?" she speedily clarified.
"Magar tum jaa kahan rahe ho? Aur mere pipeline pe kya kar rahi ho?" he sounded miffed.
"Mujhe khud pata nahi main kahaan jaa rahi hoon. Tum apna khayal rakhna. Aur haan, maine hamesha socha tha ki jab pyaar hoga toh woh ladka mere pipeline pe chad ke khidki se aayega mujhe milne ke liye....Yahaan toh kuch aur hi ho gaya..." she giggled.
"Dekho main pipeline chad ke tumhe goodbye kehne ke liye aayi hoon...Aur tum mujhe pe bhadak rahe ho???" she frowned.
She pushed herself a bit forward and dropped a small peck on his cheek. Her eyes were rimmed with a faint line of tears. Her ebony black eyes bored into his honey filled ones.....

🥳🥳🤗🤗 brij bhaiyaaaa ache nikle....yay!!! first off thanks a ton for that... cuz even though brij is horrible on the show for some reason i always wanted him and geet to have a relationship like you described in the update above... once again a mind blowing and absolutely touching update!!!
