I have been meaning to write about certain things for the last few episodes. Many of the viewers are disliking the present track for the way Sagar's character has been handled. I would like to slightly disagree on that point. I think the writers need to focus a little more on the way they intend to develop Gangaa's character. That is my main point of concern. Sagar has been impulsive, good hearted samaritan always...but Gangaa was shown to be matured and responsible. How come in the Mahaepisode...when Sagar confronts Gangaa about the MMS Case in front of Palash, she decided to ignore everything. She even keeps quiet when Palash accuses Sagar of mishandling that case and taking the side of his relative. She should have expressed her displeasure over that ill-informed and completely FALSE accusation towards Sagar.Palash even accused the Chaturvedi family and she kept quiet. She needs to remember how this family especially the men in the family supported her unconditionally.
In the pre-leap days, Gangaa would fight with anyone for her friend...how could she not raise her voice at that. On top of it, she is the one who is snubbing Sagar, when Sagar wants to call her to inform about the attack on Palash.
In the pre-cap today, she even goes to the extent saying that she will never forgive Sagar. I really think, the writers have completely misunderstood the concept of Atmasamman. They don't seem to understand what self-respect actually means. Yes, Sagar was wrong...but so was Gangaa!!
Gangaa cannot forget the sunshine that Sagar has been in her life all through. She should not be permitting anyone to hurl abuses about the Chaturvedi family (that they did not take care of her etc. etc.) Whatever her Babu said to her about the "taras" thing is definitely not justified...but she cannot forget the fact that she would have been in some Ashram had her Babu not rescuded her...she would have been illiterate or simply living a widow's life is Sagar had not given her colours.
I don't know, why the writers have messed up Gangaa's character or does it have anything to do with Madhavi?? Has she said something to Gangaa that'll be revealed only later...I don't know. But seriously, I can see a lot of inconsistency in the character developments.
