Shiv - Looks like some devotee is calling me.
Parvati - May be you are thinking of giving boon to somebody.
Lord Shiv closes his eyes for some time.
Shiv - My devotees Devantak and Narantak are doing intense tapasya and remembering me. They must get the benefit of tapasya.I must give those two brothers whatever boon they desire.
Parvati - What are you saying?
Ganesh - Pitashri, they are of demoniacal nature. If you give them boon, then they will misuse their power.
Parvati - Before this also you gave boons to demons. After that they terrorized the whole world.
Ganesh - Mother is right. After getting boon, the demons cause destruction.
Parvati - Please continue with your meditation peacefully. Those two brothers will misuse their power if you give them any boon.
Shiv - Parvati, you and Ganesh are right in a way. But it is the nature of we gods to give result of tapasya. I must give desired boon to Devantak and Narantak.
Lord Shiv vanishes.
Ganesh - It is so strange. First give boon to demoniacal people. Then try to kill them.
Lord Shiv gives darshan to Devantak and Narantak. The two brothers glorify Lord Shiv.
Shiv - Now is the time for you to get the result of tapasya. Ask what you desire.
Devantak, Narantak - Humans, demons, yakshas, gandharvas, gods, apsaras, kinnaras etc. - nobody can kill us. Animals, planets, snakes, insects - nobody can become the cause of our death.
Any weapon should have no effect on us. We should not be defeated by anybody and we should rule over all the three worlds.
Shiv - It is the biggest truth of the world that whoever is born has to die. Even the creator cannot break this rule of Maha-prakriti.
Devantak, Narantak - Give us boon that nobody from this creation should be able to kill us.
Shiv - As you wish.
Devantak and Narantak's village people praise them and give them grand welcome because they successfully completed rigorous tapasya and made Lord Shiv happy. The brothers take blessings from their parents.
Devantak, Narantak - With greetings to all of you, we announce you that Lord Shiv has given us a boon, which has neither been got by anybody in past nor will by got by anybody in future. We will get rid of the current useless system and establish a new system of governance. The gods, who have forgotten their duties being always busy in eating, drinking and enjoying dance, will be thrown out of heaven.
Sharda - Did you understand the planning of my sons?
Rudraketu - Yes, I did. And time will make everything completely clear.
Indra and other gods are enjoying in heaven when Narad comes there.
Indra - Pranam devarshi.
Narad - You become so lost in your enjoyment that you do not see what is happening on the Earth. I, Narad, have to keep running around for the welfare of you gods. Devantak and Narantak have become very powerful after doing tapasya of Lord Shiv. Keep your army ready because those two brothers may attack heaven any moment.
Half of demon-army attack heaven under Devantak's leadership and the other half attack Earth and Patal under Narantak's leadership.
Devantak's army and the gods come face to face in war.
Precap - Aditi, the mother of gods gets boon from Lord Sri Ganesh that he will be born as her son and destroy the demons.
