Om Sri Ganeshaya namah
Prajapati king Vishwarup comes to know that lord Shiv and Parvati are looking for bride for their son Ganesh. Vishwarup has two daughters Siddhi and Buddhi. He wants to get them married to Ganesh. He and his wife go to Shiv and Parvati and make their request.
Vishwarup and his wife - Mahadev. I have two daughters - Buddhi and Siddhi. They are well-educated and perform their duties well. They are proficient in household duties, are beautiful and good mannered. Please get my daughters married to Sri Ganesh and oblige me.
Lord Shiv gladly accepts.
Siddhi and Buddhi's friends are decorating them for the marriage. They are praising their beauty. Devarshi Narad comes and informs that the marriage procession is arriving soon. The barat arrives. Lord Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv, gods, goddesses and others are in the barat. The brides' family duly welcomes the barati.
Vishwarup - It is my good fortune that Lord Brahma has himself come to bless the groom and the brides.
Brahma - It is your daughters' good deeds that we all are here.
Vishwarup - It is my daughters' good firtune that they got Sri Ganesh as husband and it is my good fortune that I got Mahadev as my samdhi.
Vishnu - Your daughters are the very symbol of happiness, prosperity and intelligence.
Brahma - Wherever Siddhi and Buddhi are together, there will be happiness and peace.
Shiv - That is why I accepted Maharaj Vishwarup's proposal so easily.
Parvati - Does it mean that I do not have any contribution in it?
Vishwarup - Devi Parvati, without you, all this would not have been possible.
Parvati is glad to hear this.
Narad jokes - Express any more gratitude after the marriage. The groom and the brides must be getting worried by this delay.
The marriage is completed with all proper rituals. All elders bless the groom and the brides.
Laxmi - Girls, whereever you go, may there be wealth and prosperity.
Narad - Girls are Lord Brahma's blessings. They are born so that whereever they go, that house becomes heaven. I wish that you prove to be incarnations of Ma Laxmi and Ma Saraswati.
A time comes when Sri Ganesh becomes the father of two sons - Kshem from Siddhi and Labh from Buddhi. (Some stories name the sons as Shubh and Labh. Let me also add that some stories also mention a daughter of Ganesh ji and she is Santoshi Mata.).
Lord Kartikeya completes the circumabulation of Earth and comes back to Kailash.
Karitikeya - Father, who are these ladies and these boys? Shiv - These two ladies are your brother Sri Ganesh's wives.
Parvati - These two boys Kshem and Labh are your nephews i.e. Ganesh's sons.
Kartikeya is shocked to hear this news.
Precap - Kartikeya is hurt over Ganeshji's marriage and vows never to marry.
