Lord Indra is with the other Devgan. The Devgan want Lord Chandra back to normal. Lord Indra tells them to Lord Ganesh's Stuti and Pooja to get Chandra Maa back to normal. A really big Ganesh murti appears and the Devgan do Lord Ganesh's pooja. Whilst they do the Pooja, Lord Chandra is shown sleeping on a bed and wrigling around as if he can't bear it. The Ganesh murti turns into Lord Ganesh himself. Lord Ganesh says he is pleased and asks them what boon they want. Lord Indra says they want Chandra Maa back to normal. Lord Ganesh says it won't be possible for 1 year, ask for something else, I can't take it back. Lord Indra says they have come to his Sharan. Lord Ganesh says I accept this and so, Chandra Maa has to do Tap first (Lord Ganesh says some stuff before this that I don't understand, sorry). The Devgan appear at Lord Chandra's side. The Devgan tell Chandra what has happened after he has become blackened and they tell him the solution: To make Ganesh pleased with his Tap/Pooja. Chandra thanks them and the Devgan go.
Chandra does Tap in the middle of a lake chanting Aum Gan Ganpataye Namah. He is then on land with one foot on the floor and then it becomes night and he sits and does Tap. In the morning he is in the river again doing Tap and in the night he is sitting in a Dhyan form (BLOOPER: The show the moon all bright in the sky.... how is this possible when is he all black).
Satya comes and tells us that Chandra does Tap for very long facing lots of problems. Chandra is then shown putting a Mala on a Ganesh murti and then doing Ganesh Aarti. He then sits in front of the Murti and prays saying he made a mistake and wants forgiveness. Ganesh appears, he tells Chandra that he is pleased with his Tapasya and grants his old beautiful form back. Ganesh also says whoever does Chandra's pooja on a certain day, they will attain Paap (he also says some more stuff but I'm sorry I didn't understand it). Chandra gets his old form back and is happy.
