I thought I was gone for just a week, and look how many pages I have had to read to get caught up. Uma, your story was fantastic. I am only feeling sorry for your viscoelastic, since you must have neglected him while you were busy spinning out your story. Don't the two of you murmur sweet nothings for hours on end at night? Surely you don't have the time to do this writing after all that cooing and smacking? (Am I making some people blush here?)
Good to see all the paatis and ellu paatis. My poor kollu paati used to keep wishing that my cousin would have a baby soon, so that she could become an ellu paati. My cousin did not oblige! For myself, I will be glad to become a paati, and nobody is showing any signs of obliging me.
Nallu, what is all this about missing jilebis? How could all of you have a party while I was gone? The name of your detective agency Adialljoo sounds ominous, partly because I don't like the Joe character, esp when he is making out assassination lists. Benazir has just been assassinated, and here Joe is making lists and plans to kill people.
