This is overheard by Niti and Aish, who tell the others, and soon there is a chant, "Ganesh, Ganesh, remove the sari, Ganesh, ganesh, sari uruvi edunga, ..." Podhum, podhum, he says and grabs one end of the sari's pallu, and Nallu does a graceful half turn. He tugs again, and Nallu does another turn. Roja starts singing and Aish, Meli, Niti, Caryn, Vani19, Nithya, Meena and Laksh are clapping as he tugs each time, and Nallu does a turn for each tug. How many tugs? 24 tugs, this was an extra long sari bought by Nallu from Srima. Nallu was afraid that Roja akka might try one of her usual stunts at the nalangu, so she had placed a special order with Srima. Poor man, at the end, his right arm was swollen, so he tries to appeal to the umpire, but Atina refuses to listen. So he takes the ball in his hand, tries to lift it over his head, but he is too tired to do so, so he finally just pushes the ball towards Nallu, whose head is still spinning after the 24 turns. She sees the ball, then doesn't see it, turns again, and ends up hitting the wickets. OUT! shouts Aish, so Ganesh is crowned the hero of the day by the IFians.
Unfortunately, it is almost time for our IF members to return at this stage, so Nallu and Ganesh walk with them to the dining hall. Everyone sits down to a huge meal, while Jagdu is busy opening bottles, with Caryn and Sue assisting him. Roja is picking at the food, she is too busy trying to come up with some new ways to torment Nallu. Ganesh picks up a laddu and is about to pop it into his mouth, but he forgets that his arm is tired and he finds that his arm simply cannot be lifted. Meena whispers something to Nallu, and she shyly goes forward and picks up the laddu and ootufies it to Ganesh. It is his turn to blush, as the watching crowd bursts into applause. Once more, once more, shout Meli and Nithya and Aish, so she picks up one more laddu and feeds Ganesh. Next, it is the vadai, and this time, Atina hands it to Ganesh who breaks it into small pieces. He knows he can pick up small pieces only, so he takes a small piece and ootufies it to Nallu, along with some chutney. Seekiram ootunga pa, engalukku late aagiradhu, says Eljay, so the next few moments are in fast forward speed, with sambar flying in and out, then rice and rasam, then payasam, then jangiri, then fruit salad, and poor Nallu cannot take it any more. She chokes on a morsel of pineapple, and aha, Ganesh knows his Heimlich maneuver, so he comes up from behind, puts his hands around Nallu, while the crowd chants, Higher, higher, then he clasps her tightly, and ... I leave the rest to your imagination, folks!

It is a little known fact, but Kadhu and Mr. K did this at their wedding, and Kadhu had told Eljay about it! Finally, dinner is over, the dances begin, and Aish, Jagdu, eclat, Meena, Meli, Laksh, Nithya, Giri, Roja, and the others take the stage, along with Nallu and Ganesh. Niti also goes up, along with Jay, who faithfully keeps up with her, and as they all start dancing to Nakka mukka, nakka mukka, a sudden Ow can be heard. What happened? Niti is clutching her back, and Jay is supporting her. Someone calls the ambulance, and all is pandemonium as someone calls for a doctor and Eljay is trying to locate the phone book. Ganesh and Nallu escape in the midst of all this confusion, and are nowhere to be seen. The rest of the IF crowd are all trying to help Niti, and Eljay tells Roja to start planning the next event. Her flight is due and she has to leave for the airport along with Atina, Aish, Jagdu and Laksh, so she waves Goodbye and leaves. Roja is busy singing old songs to the rest of the crowd, and Nallu's parents heave a huge sigh of relief. Habbaa, at least we have some entertainer here, adhukku kaasu kudukka vendam, so they go around distributing the vethalai and paaku to all.
