Detective, am a very ambitious woman. I move on when I know a place is of no benefit to me. It was the same in my last place of employment too. The place nor the boss served any purpose anymore so I left.

Between you and me, I was going to leave David too. Even though I enjoyed thoroughly what we had between us and of course, the possibility of progress career-wise, I was exhausted. I was tired of the CMO constantly blackmailing both, David and me, using our now already out-in-the-open relationship. He threatened to ruin our reputation in the business world if David ever stopped paying him. 😔 At dinner, David was finally going to kick him out of the company for good by giving him enough money. Poor David, he didn't deserve this. 😭😭
