I know vitamin D's main source is the sun but apart from that what foods should I eat to increase vitamin D in the body? Any suggestions?

Well I have been suffering From Vitamin D last month...They say sun is source of vitamin D but when I went out in sun i always get sick and so after I went for checkup the blood test report says that I have deficiency of vitamin-D...It was very shocking for my parents that I need sun because its source of vitamin-D but in my situation I was not able to bear sunlight...When I go out in sunlight I immediately have fever...So doctor adviced to take Vitamin-D injection and some tablets...He gave me diet chart :
  • Fatty fish, like tuna, mackerel, and salmon
  • Foods fortified with vitamin D, like some dairy products, orange juice, soy milk, and cereals
  • Cheese
  • Egg yolks
  • Orange juice
  • soy milk
  • cereals
Hope it was helpful...
