Fat is a nutrient. It is crucial for normal body function, and without it, we could not live. Not only does fat supply us with energy, it also makes it possible for other nutrients to do their jobs.

We have made fats to be the villains causing obesity, but that couldn't be further from the truth. In reality, its refined sugars and processed carbs that lead to unhealthy weight gain not dietary fats. Sugars and carbs all break down into simple sugars upon digestion. All this excess sugar in your blood leads to insulin insensitivity, because it's hard for an average human to burn all the sugar we eat.

Fats can be good if the source of it is good. Some good fat sources are Cow ghee, paneer, Whole Eggs ( not more than 2), Peanuts, Yogurt.
