Vegetables are always an important part of a healthy diet plan. If one wants to maintain a healthy weight or want to reduce weight then, they should follow a strict diet plan in which vegetables are must.
In fact, if you want to lose weight, then more fruits and vegetables should be there in your diet plan than rice and meats.

I agree! Vegetables play a key role in a healthy and balanced diet. Most vegetables are naturally low in fat and calories. None have cholesterol. Eating a diet rich in vegetables and fruits as part of an overall healthy diet may reduce risk for heart disease, including heart attack and stroke. They may also reduce the risk of heart disease, obesity and type 2 diabetes.

I have turned from non veg diet to a completely veg and feel so much lighter since then. I feel I am at peace now(lol at least m not killing a living being for my taste)

I think that the very important fact is that vegetables contain dietary fibre which is really important for our digestive tract and its health
