Rate the Costume!

Hii everyone! 😃

Well, costumes, make up, jewelry, all help get the actor/actress to look like the character in the movie. Meaning, costumes, make up and jewelry are very imp assets in Bollywood Movies.

So, this is kinda like a game.

Below there are pics of Ash from Umrao Jaan, what you have to do, is look at all the pics, look at her dress, her jewelry and everything like that. After looking at each pic, decide from 1-5. If you like her costume and if you think it totally goes with the character, then you would give her a 5, if u don't like it AT ALL then give a rating of 1.

Remember, give a rating out of 1-5, for EACH pic. And explain y..

I really just don't like it. I unno y..I just don't. I would give it a 2.5 out of 5.

I must say, I think she looks pretty, but for me it's too much jewelry and I know the movie is suppose to be "in the olden day" ..but still...I just think it's too much. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5.

Now, I don't like this one at all. I think she has just too many bangles on (look at her hands!) And I don't like the colour of her costume; I think it's very dull.

I would give it a 1.5 or 2, out of 5.

From all the pics, I think Ash is wearing the most prettiest costume...in this one. I like the colour, of her costume...it's not hard on the eyes, so that's good. I would give it a 4 out of 5.

They are "okay." They prolly do go with Ash's character in the movie, but I dun really like them.

I unno...maybe she thought something like this --> *do I really have to wear this* for a while...but then maybe ..eventually..she got use to her character.

I would be very annoyed, changing costume to costume...esp cuz of the jewelry, I bet it took a while for getting all the jewelry on! I like Indian dresses, so like...I wouldn't mind..but if I had to wear the costumes that Ash is wearing in the pics..the it's OKAY I prefer my jeans.

jeans and a top for me...but once in a while i like dressing up😳 but i never put on so much jewelry

I think the costumes overall are pretty good, but they are not as attractive as they Rekha's were or Madhuri Dixit's in devdas were, and really its not the outfits its the actress, i personally dont think they suit ash too much she looks kinda dull and unfitted, no offence to anyone just my opinion

I think she felt pretty dull and heavy, looking at her expressions in the film she looked pretty bored and tired to me, i didnt like her acting too much!

Personally i am a big fan of indian clothes, i love wearing sarees, and the reason for that is because i never get a chance to wear such desi clothing i am always in jeans and tops and skirts and scarfs and big coats and sweaters and shirts loooooool, so i would absolountly adore the person who would allow me to put these outfits on and i would certainly try my best to look glamorous in them....

The costumes are pretty, I like the blue, silver colours and the gold one in salaam too but still compared to Devdas, I thought both Madhuri and Aish wore better and much prettier costumes in that movie. In Umrao Jaan, they're pretty but they don't stand out as much.

She might have liked wearing the costumes but still I don't see that glow on her face, like she's only wearing them.

I would love wearing those costumes, I love wearing indian clothes than a jeans and a top because I feel much comfortable in salwar kameez and sarees. Plus, I usually wear jeans and top when I go to school and hang out with friends so I would love to get a chance to wear those costumes.
