I watched Don and thought it was really good...SRK rocked πŸ‘ πŸ‘ and hats off to Farhan Akhtar for the awesome action scenes! I haven't seen AB's Don, so I can't compare with it, but SRK danced really well in "Khaike paan.."...esp loved the ending!

You can watch it with your entire family...very clean film, unless you are worried about action sequences. Many little kids were at the theater. Hope that helps! πŸ˜›

I was just reading the other posts about Don, and there are so many negative reviews that made me wonder if we actually saw the sam movie! I wonder why people thought it was boring?

I saw Don yesterday (26 oct) and I'm very disappointed. I love Shah Rukh Khan but in this film I just could'nt relate to him. I'm used to see King Khan in romantic & comic roles and seeing him in this serious role didn't please me.
I agree totally with those who say that Don is slow pacing. I will add that it lacks colour and glamour. While watching this film, I thought that I was watching an old film. The images lacks brightness and colour. What a waste.
The music of the film, be it khaike or yeh mera dil is not great either.
Yeah, the end strikes you. But Don is not a film that can be watched over and over like other films of SRK like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Labhi Alvida Na Kehna.
One advice to Shah Rukh Khan, please please please please please please please please please please please stick doing roles in which you are the best ie :romantic, comic and dramatic.

SRK in romantic roles is cool but Srk as the villan was/is 50 times cooler (Baazigar, Darr, Anjaam πŸ˜› )..That's why I liked DON very much, cause I was waiting for a negative role from srk so long, and he didn't dissepoint me 😊

IMO, the grey/blu-ish colour (consciously chosen by the director) was perfect for the movie. After all it was primarily a thriller cum action flick. Infact I am bored of seeing all bright, goody-goody movies.

Music is very good IMO, suits to the movie. "Main Hoon Don"/"Aaj Ki Raat"/"Moreyaa" were extremely good and not to mention BG music simply rocked. Regarding your other point, there are many who would prefer to watch DON over K3G/KHNH/KANK, it is all about having different tastes.😊

That does not mean he shouldn't try other genres and then critics say he doesn't do different movies. People still remember his Baazigar/Darr/Anjaam.
