Tonight opened with the biggest surprise of all : PC doing the stunt herself! No offense meant to anyone, but I wasn't expecting it, and nor was I expecting her to do so well, in comparison to how the boys did it in their turn. And so, moving on to the first stunt of the day, the trickiest so far in the season. Here's my round up, in random order...đ
Stunt Ten
One long barrel stretched across two railings, high up in the air : Interesting. Knowing that you have to get up there and roll it forward by walking backwards on top of it, with nothing for support : Unnerving. So there.
Terrence Lewis...I was actually expecting him to do better. But well, everyone had a hard time, and he was the first to go too.
Dino Morea...Did the best of all, which isn't much to speak of, if truth be told, because even he admitted that the speed at which he went was more automatic than controlled by him, lol. But he managed to stay on the barrel, and that's cool enough in itself. Well deserved safety band, dude.
Ritwik Bhattacharya...Second best, and a decent effort. Everyone did badly on this one, actually, so then the whole thing becomes more relative than anything. Good that he got a safety band as well. Not that this has anything to do with it, but I really thought his being in the bottom two yesterday because he had to do the second stunty default, because he couldn't do as many push-ups as the rest of them was just, well, lame.
Karan Singh Grover...The man was ill, and genuinely so. That's not an excuse though, and he did do pretty badly. Fair enough that he had to do the second stunt. Hope he got better by the next round. He looked pretty down-low too.
Shabbir Ahluwalia...Tried a different strategy. Didn't work, but well...at least he tried.
Rahul Bose...I wish he hadn't decided to lean forward. Must've been thinking of some strategy, but it didn't work too well either.
Armaan, Abhishek...Much the same as the rest. Not too great, unfortunately.
Stunt Eleven
Hmm...again, not a particularly difficult stunt, like yesterday. Only that the tarantulas and roaches might have been unnerving. Two safety bands (Dino, Ritwik) meant that six teams had to do the stunt.
Terrence, Shabbir, Rahul...Both the contestants and their respective partners did a good job. Although I was a bit confused by Bose's strategy. He did cost them time, it wasn't the same thing. But well, they cleared it, and that's what matters. Again, Anne was awesome. She really was.
Karan...Aarti's mistake could have cost them this round. She didn't even realise when she took the piece from the wrong end. Ouch. But then, I guess the roach...ahem...letting its bowels loose on her nose must've been a form of poetic justice. Both did pretty decently otherwise.
Armaan...Now, that was just careless. I so wanted him to stay on! He has so much potential, that it's horrible to see him go like this. For not using both his hands and dropping the pieces just like that. Not cool.
Whopper of the Day : The first stunt in itself. Everyone did badly. Yikes. đł
Shocker of the Day : Armaan's elimination. I wasn't even close to expecting it. Really, really sad. đ¤
Pat on the Back of the Day : PC, for doing the first stunt, and doing it pretty darn well. đ
That's about it. Tomorrow seems pretty exciting. It's that body-bag stunt KSG was talking about on his IF interview. Should be good to watch. And the second stunt's the trickiest of the whole lot, spiced up with fairly ominous explosions to boot. Niiice. đ
Cheers, everyone! đ
