I am quite liking Agastya. It gets hard to know if he is a good guy or a bad guy. I wonder what would have happened if there wasn't any Paakhi. Would he have stayed positive or he wouldn't have any reason to be positive at all ? He almost killed that kid but he also wants to create machines to save her. Unfortunately his psychopana for a character like Paakhi doesn't make it interesting.
If pakhi's character was more interesting, if pakhi was better cast and if the friendship with agastya was shown to be more stronger and not so one-sided where it just appears that pakhi only calls him her friend because she enjoys the attention she gets from him... then it would be more believable and understandable to see agastya obsession for pakhi.
At this point most of us can't see what agastya sees in this dumb and insignificant girl to be so in love with her.
Not just his love for her, but also his friendship with her seems one sided. I don't see pakhi's friendship or emotional connect with agastya the way I have seen with Male-female friendships on itv. I could even use zain's naamkarann as an example where the female lead avni's friendship with her childhood friend ali was still well presented with a strong emotional connect shown between them even after the leap with the grown-up actors despite the love story between avneil developing.
The writers here have not even attempted to show a strong friendship between pakhi and agastya from pakhi's side.
