Part 2

The next couple of days had gone by in a breeze. The engagement had happened…all friends were invited to witness the happy moment. Shiv and Gauri were getting closer and closer. They liked to take long walks by the beach or anything as long it was the two of them. They could be seen staring into space smiling softly. His mornings started with her name on his lips and ended with her name. His first word is her name and his last word is also her name. The first thing and last thing he sees are her dark eyes lowered with shyness and her cheeks turning a dark red…making her look absolutely stunning. He enjoyed every moment they spent together…even if it was a one second eye-lock session across the room.

As for Kripa and Angad…they were going crazy about the other. They spent every moment together. In the small amount of time they have gotten to know one another they felt as if they have known the other for all their lives. Kripa could always be seen talking to Tannu smiling about Angad and her relationship. As for Angad, he always told his brothers all the good things about his lady love. They loved to go to the beach and sing songs together…romantic songs of course. They were like Gauri and Shiv…they always thought about the other in their dreams and awake moments. But the two sisters were unknown to the situation of their youngest sister. The couples were so engrossed in each other that they didn't notice the envious gazes of Tannu as she silently watched the two loving couples.

As for Tannu and Zaib…their relationship was only as two people being forced to marry one another. Tannu loved Zaib with all her heart…but her feelings weren't returned. He belonged to someone else already…to his girlfriend Mishti. On the engagement day Zaib had left his phone on his chair and someone was calling him. Tannu had picked up the phone and heard a lady's voice talking about how much she missed him and loved him. Tannu was shocked…she felt her heart break. She stood in the room as Zaib came and snatched the phone away from her. He had stared at her with an angry gaze…frightening the poor girl to death. She was now scared to even look at him without remembering his angry blazing golden eyes. Nobody had seen them thankfully and she never got the guts to tell her sisters. She didn't know that the girl was his ex and she stalked him…she thought he still liked Mishti. How was she to know that he was angry about Mishti's call and not at her? She didn't even know that he was falling for her. She now spent her time deeply in thought and alone as her sisters were busy with her jijus.

She was now standing on the terrace lost in her thoughts. She was unaware of Zaib watching her silently from distance. He watched silently as tears filled her eyes and fell down her creamy cheeks. Her hand rose to wipe the tear away. She looked at the moon shining brightly down at the earth. She opened her mouth to speak and said to the moon, "Why? Why did I fall in love with a guy who belonged to someone else? I didn't even know him 1 week ago and was happy just dreaming about him and me together. But now that im going to be with him for all my life…im scared of him. Scared of the guy that rules my dreams and who my sisters tease me about. Just hearing his name makes me shy and lost in my world. His voice gives me goose bumps and makes me tremble with unknown emotion. His eyes fascinate me…I could gaze into them for hours even days without blinking. My ears…they yearn to hear his deep husky voice just once even for a second…my eyes they search the room for his. My heart yearns to be held by him. My dreams are filled with him…images of us together…me holding a baby with him or just me and him dancing to soft romantic music together. Maine kyon pyar kiya? Agar mujhe pata hota ki pyar mein aisa bhi hota hai toh phir main kabhi bhi pyar na karti…kabhi nahin.

Her thoughts and talk to the moon are interrupted by her mom yelling at her to come downstairs. Today was the mehndi rasam. She goes downstairs and sits on the bed thing and gets her hands done. It looked really beautiful and had Zaib in the middle in fancy writing. Her mom had Zaib come and search for his name in her hands. It took him total of three seconds to find it and now he had to find hers. It took him five seconds this time…her name was attached to his by the A in his name. His name went across her hand and hers came down making a cross. His touch sent shivers down her back and he could feel her hands tremble in his. The ladies left them alone…she got nervous and scared. Her hair which was in a bun had her bangs falling in her eye…annoying her. She tried to blow at it but it didn't do anything. He took her bangs and pulled them behind her ear…his cold hand touching her warm face making her gasp and look up straight in his eyes. His eyes gazed passionately into hers and they expressed his love.

Zaib- Im sorry Tannu.

T- Sorry for what Zaib?

Z- Sorry for scaring you at the engagement party…I wasn't mad at you but at Mishti she's my ex and really annoying. She wanted me for my money and when I dumped her she got mad and now is always stalking me.

T- Oh so your not…

Z- Not what?

T- Umm nothing never mind

Z- No im not

T- Not what?

Z- Not in love with her…but I do love someone

Tannu was relieved and hurt. Zaib saw this in her eyes and told her the 'big secret'.

Z- Im in love with……………you.

She gasped and blushed looking into his eyes. She lowered her gaze and got up and left for the bathroom to wash the mehndi off as it was now dry. She tried to turn the faucet on but couldn't and was really annoyed…just then Zaib came and turned it on for her. He took her hands and started washing the henna away softly and slowly. She looked in the mirror and saw the picture of her and him. He was behind her holding her in a way with his arms around her washing the hands. The picture looked just perfect and made her smile. Soon he was done and she was still lost in her thoughts. He looked at her…studying her every detail. She fit into his arms perfectly as if made specially to be held by his arms. Her face was cute and she was really beautiful. Her eyes were innocent and child-like. She looked up at that moment and her eyes once again met his. He leaned his head on her shoulder still gazing at her through the mirror and kissed her neck. She blushed and ran out the room smiling. The rest of the night went by as everyone danced and had fun. The days went by fast and soon it was the day of the wedding.

Great part. All the couples are so cute. AT first they didn't even want to see the guys and now they're all smitten. I'm glad Zaib told Tannu he loved her. It was very romatnic.

Part 3

~the wedding~

Tannu stood in front of the mirror watching as her best friend, Tia placed jewelry on her. She was wearing a dark red lengha with heavy embroidery. Her blouse showed her toned stomach and was backless held only by the three strings…one on the top around her neck another in the middle and the last one at the bottom of the blouse. Her dupatta was held around her wrists by her bracelets…like rani in say shava shava. Her long black hair was curled and fell down her back. She had red eye shadow, mascara and some light blush on. Her dark red bangles adorned her lean wrists. Her neck was adorned only by a silver necklace. She was wearing silver payals. Her green eyes had anticipation in them she couldn't wait till she saw her dulha, her Zaib. The last few days had been wonderful…her fear of Zaib had disappeared. They now spent every moment together…teasing each other with their eyes…hands…or sometimes running their feet over the other's leg under the dining table…which was mostly Zaib teasing Tannu as she blushed. Their nights had gone by saying good night to each other and Zaib stealing a kiss from Tannu surprising and pleasing her. After she was ready she went to her sisters in Kripa's room as they got ready by their mom. She saw her sisters looking beautiful in their lenghas…they were the same as hers only the color was different…Kripa's a green and Gauri's a light blue. She knew that Kripa and Gauri loved Angad and Shiv with all their heart. They had already expressed their feelings to her late at night some days ago. All three of their mehndi were blood dark. When their mom saw that…she told them that the guys must love them a lot…as the color was a symbol of love. She stood next to them and saw in the mirror three beautiful soon-to-be brides. They sat on the bed as their mom left them alone and started talking.

T- You guys look absolutely divine.

G- You look really beautiful Tannu

T- Thanks di are you guys ready for the big event

K- Oh my god I can't believe it we're getting married

G- I know just few days ago we were messing around like little kids and today we've become women

T- I'll miss this place…I don't wanna leave this place our sweet home and our sweet Nainintal

G- Me either

The three got lost in their thoughts and remembered their memories as little kids running around causing chaos everywhere. Soon it was time to be taken down to get married. Tia took Tannu…Tania took Gauri and Naina took Kripa. They looked up and saw their handsome grooms. The guys' sherwanis matched their brides' lenghas. Zaib was wearing a red sherwani…Angad was wearing dark green and Shiv was wearing a blue one. They sat down in the mandaps and the pundit started the wedding. They took the pheras symbolizing them staying together for seven lifetimes…the guys placed the magalsutra around the girls' necks making her forever his. They filled the maang with the red sindoor promising the girls to make their lives forever colored and never pale. [I don't know what they mean so I just made them up hope you don't mind I know they sound stupid but that's all I could think of at this moment J ]. The couples took the parents blessings and now it was time for the bidaai. The Khannas had an outhouse here and they were going there and tomorrow the parents are leaving for Mumbai and the couples will follow a week later. The girls hugged their parents crying desperately. Karan took them outside to the car and made them sit in the big limo. The girls sat next to their hubby's. Gauri and Kripa were still crying and hugging their new husbands. Tannu sat there and watched them cry…she felt sad about leaving her parents but she was also happy to finally be with Zaib. Soon they had arrived at the outhouse and did the rasams that new brides do. Now the three brides were entering their rooms.

~Gauri'~

She sits on the bed with rose petals around her…beautiful flower garlands hang from the ceiling making a canopy of love around the bed. She had her beautiful face hidden by her ghungat. The door is opened and Shiv is pushed inside…he stumbles and finally gets a hold of himself. He looks up and sees his lovely bride sitting on the bed…waiting for him. He could feel her nervousness as she played with her hands. He sits in front of her and picks up the ghungat and sees her blushing and shy face. Lifting her chin he looks in her eyes…she lowers them with shame. He laid her back on the bed and lowered himself on top of her. His hands pulled her dupatta off and threw it somewhere on the ground…he took off her earrings…her other jewelry also comes and meets with its friends on the floor. As his hands move to the blouse…the wind blows the blanket over the two lovers as the only sound heard in the room was the rythamatic beat of their hearts beating together as one.

~Kripa~

When Angad entered his room…he expected to see his bride waiting for him but the sight of his wife sleeping greets him. He walks over and sits next to her…she had changed into a silky white gown that hugged her body like a second skin. He wished he was that gown…he ran his finger down her face and when he reached her lips…her mouth opened and bit his finger. "Aaah," he said holding his finger as he watched her lips stretch in a big smile and soon her laughter could be heard. He pulled her hands over her head and lays on top of her looking deep in her eyes as her laughter died out. His hands pull her gown down as her eyes close with shame…redness rises in her cheeks as his hands brush against her chest. His hand picks up the blanket and pulls over them as they sound of their breathing becomes one and deeper.

~Tannu~

The room was decorated beautifully as expected on a wedding night. The bride was not on the bed as she should be…but she stood out in the balcony gazing out at the darkened world…lost in her thoughts. She was so happy…her dream had came true…the guy she loved was hers finally…and today he would make her his forever. She was already his emotionally and mentally…now it was time to be physically his. Just the thought of it being made her turn red. "Haye maar dala humko," a voice said. She turns and sees Zaib standing at the door smirking at her with one of his hand on his heart.

T- What's wrong Zaib? Are you hurt?

She runs up to him and starts looking him over for any sign of injury. He didn't answer and just gazed at her. When she looks up…she sees him smiling and starts hitting him. He laughs and gets a hold of her hands…he hugs her close to him. She stops and hugs him back. She places her head on his chest and sighs softly. They stand there for five minutes just hugging each other close to them. Finally the fact that it was their suhagraat settled in their mind. Tannu turned around and sits on the chair in front of the mirror. She starts taking off her jewelry but is stopped by Zaib. He turns her around so she sits on the chair and is now facing him. He takes off her earrings…kissing the ear after…and then bites it…making her gasp in pain and pleasure. Next came the necklace…he kissed her neck and bit her neckbone. Next came the bangles…he slid them all down and kissed all the way up…to her lips. He picked her up in his arms and placed her softly on the bed filled with rose petals. She now only had her blouse…skirt…payals and mangalsutra left. She bent her legs as she lay on the bed with her eyes closed which opened when she felt his lips on her ankle. She saw him take her payal off and kiss her leg. He moved upwards until he lay on top of her facing her face to face. Her green eyes stared into his golden ones as her hands were lost in his hair and she pulled him down…his lips touching her soft ones. The moonlight falls on the two lovers as Zaib pulls the blanket over them…minutes later her blouse, skirt, his sherwani fell on the floor and the only sound heard was their passion being shown to the other.

[Clears throat] 😳 how was that? I'm not good at the romantic stuff but seeing as it was needed for the wedding night I tried my best hope you all enjoyed reading and I hope I did justice to the romance! :] 😃
