Nani : (N):She is Dr.Smriti's and Nurse Padma?s mother. Mother in law of Shashank gupta and Viren Sinha . She is very sweet, loving, understanding and caring. She loves Ridhima and Anjali a lot. Loss of her elder daughter "smriti" and youger son-in law "Viren Sinha" shook her but not letting the hope to live & understanding the situation.Keeping Cildren and grand childrens life i.e.., She wanted someone to take care of Shashank and Anjali as well as her second daughter Padma and her daughter Ridhima. Hence, she married to Padma and Shashank .

Mr. Shashank Gupta:(SG): Great Neurological Surgeon and Administrative unit head of Sanjeevani, honest, talented and famous regarding his profession. His first wife Smriti Gupta a gynacalogist died 20 yrs before in an accident with his best Friend aka brother in law. But in Past suffered due to loss of her husband Viren Sinha who happened to great cardiologist before 20yrs in the same accident.In which her sister Smriti died. Later due to society, respect and in need of caring father to her child ?Ridhima? who was child of Viren and need of love mother to Anjali she married Mr. Shashank Gupta. She also fancies and knows well about Dr. Shubhankar and his past but doesn?t express it. As she is a strong believer that personal life must not disturb the professional life and one should be practical towards approach of life

He is perfect husband Material and admires Miss Kashish Malik (who handles administrative and legal matters of Sanjeevani).

Miss Kashish Malik:Advocate done her law studies and finished Management. Only Daughter of Famous late Dr. Rahul Malik and Dr. Juhi Malik. Stays with her Bro Armaan Malik (new intern).She is also a adorable character but a very responsible sister who?s Dream is bring their respect to their late parent?s name by Making Sanjeevani as world?s successful health care unit. She?s simple indian girl who?s waiting for her prince charming who will take responsibility of her and her future. She loves her brother a lot. She also admires and respects Sujal very much. Keerti and Kashish are good friends. After there Parents she and her bro were brought up by her Mausi( mothers sis) and her son Rohit.Rohit and Mausi moved to London five yrs back.And considers Dr Shashank as a fatherly figure. She and her bro were living at Lonavala but shifted to Mumbai two years before. Managing the Sanjeevani branch there but her brother is still staying there with his friend in his apartment and completed medical college and will come here to her do internship and furter study. She is tensed About her brother way of approach to life mainly his flitatious behaviour towards girls, though she knows at he is good at heart he respects them and will never cross his limits.

Late Mr. Viren Sinha: Great cardiologist , Perfect husband, caring father of ridhima, thick and true friend of dr. Shashank Gupta. He was an from orphan lost parents in accident .Then was supported and brought up with Shashank by shashank?s father Mr. Akhilesh Gupta as Viren was his friend?s son. So they were like chuddi buddies. Later married Gupta sisters. Though brought up by Akhilesh he was the most loved one. Died in an accident before 20yrs.

He was a great friend of Dr. Rahul .Fell in love with fellow intern Dr. Simran. They adopted a child and named him Atul but tragically died along with his wife in accident 20yrs b4.He had built an AIDS ward on his name in Sanjeevani. After there death custody of thier adopted son Atul was given to his brother Shubhankar.

She is completely westernized, wears skinny jeans and Vested tops. She is independent but relies on her little sister to get her out of trouble and allow her to lead her independent lifestyle. She's charming and She knows that Ridhima is not her blood-related sister, but she never lets Ridhima down, although Anjali seems outspoken and cold on the outside, deep down she cares dearly for her sister , and Ridz too knows this, although doesn't let on because she knows that Anjali doesn't want to be seen as emotional because she thinks it's a weakness. She's very much attached to her mother Padma though she knows Padma is not her biological mother. Anjali wants to be extremely successful and rich like her father. Guys are always falling for her, and this fact blws her confidence. She doesn't believe in love or thats what she says to others.As she introvert and complicated its difficult to know her real feelings . She and Ridz tease each. She is a new intern at Sanjeevani. She wants to be Burnt Specialist and Skin Specialist.

Her mother married her father Shashank Gupta is a world-famous surgeon and the Head of Sanjeevani to save her and Anjali. Though Shashank Gupta is not her biological father She luvs him a lot and hopes to follow in his footsteps & fulfill his dreams. An intelligent, simple, caring girl, Ridhima, nick-named Ridz, has all the positive traits you can think of: she's loyal, honest, modest, and hardworking, has strong conscious and strong values. Her child-like innocence makes her believe everything her older sister says. She is amazing with children sympathetic and empathetic. She enjoys playing sports, dancing and jogging. She is an ideal daughter. Shes petite, pretty fair flawless skin, big Emerald eyed , sharp stright featured nose , Rossy red lips glossy black waist length hair curled at ends always side rolled and let loose or drwn up to pony tail. Dr. Sapna shah: she's a typical gujju girl ? as per her character in the real serial. She's and Ridz have been best friends since childhood and her father and Shashank are best friends. She wonders how Gupta sisters being like South Pole and North Pole are so intimate to each other but admires them herself being only girl to her parents. She Angie and Ridz share are good friends. Not so beautiful Yet extemely pretty with fair skin,expessive hazel eyes straight nose, 5-6 height and dark brown arm length hair.She's Dutifull loving daughter and cute kiddo to hr Bro Shabbir a advocate married living in Delhi. She doesnt want to get married, want's to pursue her career first. She, like Ridz, believes in love hopes she will find true love before her family makes her marry. Charming much like Armaan, but slightly dreamy and lost in himself. The three share all their secrets. They help each other out all the time, especially in times of need. His parents treat Armaan and Atul like their own son. Especially Shabd's father is happy that he has made worthy friends. A handsome Punjabi munda well browny tinged built man light chocolaty eyes good height of 6 feet , thick broqn hair mop slightly beaded chin with solid strong jaw oulined his masculanity nicely .all rounder and adventorous self made man.A complete foody. Though hard a nut shell he is soft from inside. He is not a cassonva playing with gal's feeling but a hot hunk among them living his days. Great soccer player and second love of his life was music and singing. He loves his Elder sis Muskaan married to her love life now in USA soon to be settled with him and his pretty oldy dadi ma who lives in in kolkatta . He hates and moreover dislikes his parents who see their life always in business view, don't care for their children the dislike turned to hatred when he hd to fight them for his beloved sis marriage. That was the reason hiswhole life was hostelized in convents topper of bhatinda schooling and further studies in Darjling.The only love and care releif to him and his sibling was there dadi Devyani khanna.( living and guarding her ancestral heritage in kolkatta. Devyani chatterji was bengali lady married for love with his pujabi jhatt dadaji, jogeshwar khanna. Rukmini Mausi: She is Nice social and Motherly character and Elder sister of Late Dr. or Mrs Juhi Mallik, Her husband was military officer and became Shaheed in the war field, then she brought up her only child Rohit Mehra along with her Small sisters kids. but due to her brain tumour she was moved to london with her son Rohit leaving Kashish and Armaan behind in lonavala, now she is completely cured and happily living with

her son and daughter in law. As she was attached to Armaan more than Rohit she keeps on telling them to move on to India.

Dr. Rohit Mehra: currently in abroad in London working there as Rheumatologist in Apollo , married and lives with his mother Veena Mallik and his wife Muskaan a punjabi Kudi who is a clinical Dietian in the same hospital. They r planning to move to India and stay with there cousins. Armaan and Kashish r his younger cousins.

Dr. Muskaan Mehra: She is sweet bubbly character a pakka Bhatinda ki kudi . She has a loving and caring perfect younger brother studying in Darjling convent and A cutie Pie Dadi in Kolkatta whom she visited regularly in vacations and Befriended Dadi's gem Kripa . Though wealthy and Healthy Parents she and her brother have been craving for Parents love from childhood for whom all the things is judged by profit and money. That is why She went to work in London after finishing her Dietian course with MBBS to work in Apollo as Nutrionist . She fell in love with her collegue. And Married Rohit with the help of her Bro and Dadi, as she was upset with her parents who apposed her idea to marry a mere doctor with Ailing mother. She lives with her lovely mother in law and Sweet heart Rohit, in london but soon to settele in India, and arrange the secret alliance of Angad Kripa planned by Dadi. She loving and caring lady of sixties suffering from arthritis who lives kolkatta in her ansectral house with the aid of Pension of her husband she wants have her last days in that house full of memories of her love life and happy days. She pampered gayatri and loved by her gem Kripa whom she wants marry her grandson one day( Her wish to see them happily married family). But her heart aches seeing her own and only son selfish shrewd buisness man and her mean Daughter in law Naina khanna who all they care about is money, buisness and status.Her grand children suffering because of this. She is going to be there bridge, She keeps on giving hints to basu parivaar about her wish which is liked and known to all of them except Kripa. She is Happy for her Elder Grand Daughter as she is married to a good family of mehra's, especially the thing is her Laddli has married her love life Rohit. She was upset and angry with her son and daughter in law for opposing this alliance and not participating in their only gal's marriage. And proud of Angad that he understood the responsibity. She educated her children and brought up them with vital culture and tradition of a perfect Bengali Pandit Family. She felt supported when she met her mothers childhood Friend Devyani Khanna as her supporting neighbour. She then married her Son to perfect Bengali Gal Prerna chatterji a distant relative of her in laws , Now she keeps on worryoing about Kripa, But happy withDevyani's proposal unknown to Kripa.

Then we r lead to the backyard of Sanjeevani here nearly 50 people r standing in rows , praying, sum sobbing, meditating for the great souls and inthe middle was Abig Stone Slab Established with candles, flowers and Essence sticks surrounding it the words etched on it were

After sum time they scattered and went there way to home

Yes this was, 15th June when Sanjeevani Had lost its bunch of valuable doctors due to an accident which occurred before 19 yrs .when these Doctors had Volunteered as a free rescue team to save victims of flood at far unaccessible remote village of Assam.They went their whole heatedly to fulfill their duty of having the boon of Medicinal Practice leaving their loved one consoled and promising to return soon and safe.But Destiny had different thing in store for them after their service when started for their homes with great satisfaction they were gobelled by death ,due mother nature's another wrath of a large land slide.

Not even a single person was survived to describe the mis happening .

They had built a memorial stone with thier names on it.

Every 15th june was led this way only with a small speech to

the emergence of new interns a long prayer i.e., meditation

for giving peace to their souls . Lighting candle and decorating the memorial with flowers.

Only this Day Sajeevani was closed at night with only some interns watchman and nurses to attend the emergencies.

Gupta House:

Dr. Shashank and family had just reached home. There

was unpleasant silence among the members though each one wanted to comfort other ,but felt it was good leaving alone every person on there own frequency would be more better.

Padma went with her mother to prepare the dinner

while two sisters entered the room and lay down on their bed . Ridz heard a silent sobbing she knew it had been Anjali but she killed the instinct of consoling her and layed more still. Because she knew anjali would never accept that she had been crying as she never wanted to show that she couldn't control her emotion feelings as she considered them ones weakness.

Though to the world she seemed to be strong personality

but Ridz knew how she was soft fro inside.

Like as usual ,Shashank went to his room sat there alone refreshing his moments with smriti the first love and both childhood and jawani (i don't know what they say in English) with his friends Viren. loss of good colleagues also deepened him into pool of sorrow . This day was

more tragic for him because he had also lost his Dad

He closed his eyes slowly the past started lingering in front of him .

FLASHBACK

The Day had been tiring after a meeting 5 hrs it had been decided that rescue team would go to the remote village.

Various objections were being raised ,they had also been warned by the Govt. about the dangers they could face and other complications.

But this wasn't any other health care which would keep hands on hands and let people die. Though there would be many more opportunities in future to prove their talent and urge to help the needy they were not any other people who would be doing this for name and fame .

they shouldn't miss this trip b4 thinking about themselves they must consider their responsibility which they had acquired along the boon of this profession to save others.

Still in Flash back

It had been two days since they had left Dr. Shashank Gupta had a deep expression of worry on his face there had received only one Phone call that they had reached there destination safe and sound, but situation was worsening there due to chances of epidemic . And ,when wanted to know more about their program & progress the Phone connection got disturbed , they did not have any other source to contact through which they could reach them. Though Shashank was comforting and telling others not to worry everything would be fine and successful, he himself couldn't control his worries .Because from Viren's departure to the trip , his father's heart condition had worsened the blockage had increased to 60%, he needed biopsy which was not a great difficulty but shooting of his B.P with sugar level had made the case un-opera-table.
Only option left was that he should ,rest with right appetite and enough practice of yoga and accurate dosage of medicine. Though these all were being practiced perfectly but were having hardly any effect on him as he mentally stressed due to Viren's absence always having tantrums of visiting or calling him and Smriti. There was a type of uncalled tension on everybodies face in home Padma and her mother now used to spend more time at the temple praying for the safe and sound return of loved one's. Same was in the hospital kins of his colleagues kept visiting Shashank for any news and pecking with questions.He had been angry, annoyed at sometimes comforting them. But couldn't help because he himself was in the same dilemma. He was taking his usual rounds when he saw some one on the roof murmuring to himself.He reached near the person and recognized him to be Shubhankar.Shubhankar feeling that somone was behind him turned and after recognising Mr. Gupta he wished him and started leaving from there. Shashank Knew why he was there at this unusual time infact he knew that Shubhankar had been trying to contact him from two days. He knew Shubhankar was a very shy guy. So he himself volunteered and spoke.

Dr.SG: Shubh jo jaanane aaye ho puchte to jao, isme itna hichkichane ki kya zarrorat hai

Dr. Rahul: trip successful raha hai, kafi hadh tak halath sambhal gayi hai, Accha

experience tha. Actually Juhi nahi hai wo aur Simran Camp mein final reports

tyarr kar rahi hain . Ha lekin Omi hai aur Dr.Smriti aa rahin hai. Pls ghar zarror

inform kar dena bache dona Lonavala mein hai na mummy ji ko chinta ho rahi

hogi.

Dr SG: Zarror ye to mera farz hai, Zarra Omi ko Phone Pakkadana.

Dr Om: Hello sir.

Dr SG.: hello Omi trip tho accha tha lagta hai. Accha shubh se baat karoge.Arre haan

Simran se kehna Atul aaj hamare yaahan tehra hai Shubh se nahi sambhal raha hai

isliye aur waise bhi usse medical ki tayari karni hai. Tumhe koi problem to nahi hai

Dr Om: Aree nahi balki mein bhi yahi soch raha tha, aur aap ne keh diya.

Till then Dr. Smriti reaches there with Viren while others are talking she chats with her hubby Shashank.

Dr.Om: Shubh ruk ja zarra phone Shashank ji ko dena Smriti ji aayi hai baat karne.

Shubh: Ji Bhaiya.

Shashank sir Smriti mam hai line par.

And he starts to leave from here, when Shashank takes the receiver from his hand and tells Shubh to wait for him in the cabin.

Now as a fresh jolt of happiness hit him he turned to leave for his cabin where he had to inform Shubh and others about their arrival.

That was the last time he had listened to his love, wife, friends, colleagues. Just in one blow destiny had given its judgment making so many people lifeless though they lived breathed ate & drank

Next Day when Shashank had went in an excitement and of celebrating the moment because with the news of this successful trip Sanjeevani was declared as Mumbai's Best Health care Unit had went to airport to the eagerness of meeting was like it had been ages. Thinking about the warmth of those warm hugs was making him restless to every passing second.

But it never came he was just gazing and gazing at the arrival door,

Not a single team member had appeared. When the guards started to close doors.

The whole rescue team of Sanjeevani had met with accident due to land-slide

with null survival all six and two military personals with the driver and conductor had succumbed to death on the spot.

Time had stopped at a point world and life seemed to end.

What he tell Padma, Bauji , mummy ji , Shubh, and the young ones who didn't even understood the meaning of death.

Somehow gathering courage he left home to inform them it was unwise hide from them any more.

But what he knew he would face another tragic loss of his Bauji .

He thought Bauji as usual had gone club to his friends but he was wrong while was informing mummy ji and Padma about the his bauji also heard the news and had a major heart attack which led to his death on the spot.

Shashank woke up sweating heavily from the rock chair. Even thinking about that day ran shiver around his Spine. But he felt more proud and happy to be associated to those memories. Brightness of golden sun had just started breaching the sky and enveloped room with morning mist .He checked the time it was 4:30 am in the morning. And he could hear prayers and smell the sweet sell of incense sticks mixed with prayers embracing every corner of the house with Padma's melodious voice. As he listened to it carefully a smile breached on his face similar to the sky outside.

SG: Dekha dekha meine kaha na.tumhare bare mein achi tarike se jaanta huin ma se ladne

And seeing her blushing he admires her. And thinks when they married .

Thinking type of flash back :

Till 1 year of the incident he had become a Robot performing its duties.

But his duty towards his daughters . Understanding, selfless love, and caring nature of Padma had changed his life again into a beautiful garden again though he couldn't forget Smriti. And same with Padma though she couldn't her luv viren,

with theshe realized the safe future of her and her daughter from the Society's piercing eyes.

The Understanding between him and Padma had led them to the marriage agreement.

With mummy ji forcing them to this relation and telling them to have more practical approach towards life.

And day by day as he saw the increasing attachment between Anjali-Padma & Ridhima ' himself .

He had married her though for the sole reason was Anjali & Ridhima who needed both love of a mother and father. both Shashank and Padma found a new type of love, care and intimacy in their relation which was divine in itself. They were once big happy family.

They had told the truth to both Anjali and Ridhima

When they were at appropriate age of understanding world, and to their surprise their surprise understood them with the reaction.
