Well people, here's the next bit, sorry it's a bit short. I'm a bit rushed these days. Moreover, I'm going to write mainly in English from now on. The other thing is too much of a strain.
[RECAP: That evening, a taxi drives up the hill; it's nearing the house when the driver says "madam, lagta hai ghar par koi nahi hai"
[From the backseat a girl of about 22 leans forward, she is slim, extremely pretty but dressed in a no nonsense fashion in Khadi salwar and a Fab India kurta (luv that brand, lol) with thick glasses a la preity in kal ho na ho. This is Kanya, Anand and Pammi's adopted daughter. This is sort of an open secret in the family but nobody refers to it and in fact, she is the favorite. Nevertheless, Kanya is always conscious of the fact and this affects her behavior as she is extra determined not to give her family any chance to regret their decision.> "What do u mean ghar pe koi nahin hai? Of course hai, I had called up earlier" "lekin madam, koi lights nahin hai" "to electricity nahin hogi, aap chaliye" "theek hai madam"
They reach the house, the taxi driver looks around dubiously, but Kanya pays him off. She then rings the bell but nobody opens the door. She notices the door is open.
"Now Kanya let's be sensible" [she tells herself> "don't act like those stupid horror film heroines walking into a dark building". She takes out her mobile and dials 101 [police> and keeps her thumb on the call button and then slowly opens the door…
"SURPRISE!!!!!!!!"
Kanya yelps, presses the call button, and screams help into the phone…>
Suddenly a figure looms up before her, she quickly knees him, and he crumples up with a sort of "mmmmmpfh" sound. There's another man at the edges of her vision and she quickly hits out with her bag before elbowing someone else in what felt like their solar plexus ["god, is it some kind of gang I wonder, I hope mamma, papa are ok, ok Kanya make a break 4 the door NOW]. She rushes out all the while giving details to the police in the cell that was still in her hand ["good thing u can keep a clear head and don't panic like some idiot Kanya" 😆 ].
Suddenly the lights come on and she automatically turns surprised, and sees…
A huge group of her friends and family is standing there looking at her in shocked silence. On the floor were three figures she recognized as her father, jij and her friend saagar, the latter two literally rolling around in their agony.
"Hey sorry guys, it took me some time to turn the lights back on again. Anyway, was she surprised? I hope I didn't miss the good parts…" [Harsh trails off into silence as he takes in the scene in front of him]
For a minute there was total silence except for the poor guys' moans then an old lady turned to Pammi and said "and u were worried about her living alone in Delhi, wonder how many she crippled there. Good thing these two [gesturing aditi and her husband] already has all the kids they need [poor Shubanker jij was the one who got kneed in the you know what 😉 ]
"Maaji", Pammi said shocked.
However, that broke the spell, every one started laughing helplessly, and aditi, Pammi, and Kanya helped the guys into some chairs.
"Omg! Dad! Jij! Are u 2 ok? Saagar? U ok? I'm sorry, I'm sooo sorry"
Finally, it seemed every one was fine though poor shubanker was limping slightly. Harsh got totally trashed by the family.
"U idiot", "stupid", "moron", "gadha"…
"Hamesha aise kuch na kuch karta hai…"
"Kyon mere bacche ko pareshan kar rahe ho tum log?"
Everyone: "Shanta Tai!" [Shanta Tai was their old ayah come housekeeper who had come with Pammi on her marriage and helped her bring up the kids who all loved her and considered her part of the family though again Kanya was her favorite]
And they all hug her when… [SIRENS COMING CLOSER]
Kanya: omg, it's the police…
[I know, I know guys, where's Ranbir? but he won't be there for some time cause we r having a bit of a fight over his entry, the idiot refuses to do the way i want him to. i tried to tell him I"m the author here but he replied so what I'm Ranbir Nanda. such attitude i tell u 😆 so plz wait till we reach an understanding]
