This ff is based on love through a mobile phone connection, where angad makes the mistake of his life by prank calling kripa sharma who is not a person who lets go easily. She is very persistent in complaining but who would know they would end up in love. But will her past come in the way of her perfect future? With all its twists and turns who knows how it will turn out.

Chapter 1


"kripa sharma, congratulations your divorce has been granted. Your ex-husband, Mr. Ronit khanna will have no legal relationship with you or your family from this day forward" the judge announced
Ex –husband kripa thought, no nicer words have ever been spoken by anyone in my entire life.
"Papa, mama rejoice, I have won the case!" kripa exclaimed running towards her parents.
"We just want your happiness" her father said with a light smile.
"But kripa beta u know that it will be hard for u marry again" her mother spoke concerned.
"Ofhoh mom it hasn't even been 5 minutes of my divorce and your already talking about marriage again! Anyways who says I want to get married again after what I've just been through, for now lets go home these court rooms are beginning to smell." Kripa said with a childish giggle.

Meanwhile, Angad khanna was sitting in his delightful home talking when Neev had an idea.
"Lets make prank calls to any one we know I'll go first" neev said as he picked up the phone to dial pratchis number.
"Hello… hello neev I know it's you so stop fooling around. Oh, and by the way if you don't come home now then I will…" pratchi was cut off by neev.
"Ok baba; don't get angry I'm coming in 5 minutes, I just need to ask angad something. "
Neev turned to face angad who was wearing a black sleeveless top with jeans and announced "now it's your turn"
"Ok, baba" angad said mimicking neev.
Angad snatched the phone of neev and dialed the first number that came to his mind '0789562314'and put the phone to his ear.
"Hello, kripa khanna speaking, oh, sorry kripa sharma." Kripa said hesitantly.
Angad quickly thought of what to say "sorry, wrong number".
Neev looked at angad "is that the best you can do, phone again"
Angad clicked the redial button and looked at neev sternly.
"Hello" kripa's voice spoke sweetly. Angad quickly switched off the phone and took a deep breath.
"You don't even know the girl why are you so hesitant in speaking it's not like she's going to complain to the police" neev alleged.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence neev, you of all people should think before you speak, you're married for goodness sake and you still act like a baby." Angad replied.
"You know what your problem is angad your chicken. Too chicken to make a proper prank call." Neev added.
"who are you calling chicken you should know as a fact that I do everything you dare me to."
"Well then Mr. Angad I DARE you to phone again and say something scary." before angad could say something back, neev grabbed the phone, pressed the redial button and passed it over to angad.
"Hello… hello" kripa's sweet voice echoed through the receiver
"Look, this is the third time you have phoned now, once is a joke but three times is just stupidity, before I get really annoyed and phone the police you should say sorry!" she continued.
"Sorry, why should I say sorry, what makes you so special for me, angad khanna to say sorry, anyways it wasn't my idea to prank you and for your information my so called friend was the one who forced me to redial!"
"You've just crossed the line khanna, I'm complaining to the police! Oh and thanks for giving me your name" angad, fuming, tossed the phone on to the floor cutting the line.
"Angad calm down what did she say and who is that so call friend you are talking about" neev said picking up the phone.
"It's no time for joke neev, she's going to complain to the police and I've just made it worse by speaking so harshly and you want to know the best bit she knows my name."
"Ok angad first of all give yourself 5 minutes to calm down then phone her again and say sorry"
"I'm going to the bathroom to freshen up after I come back I will phone again" angad said walking up the large stair case to the bathroom door. Neev sat down watching the TV glued in to the screen for almost 10 minutes when he noticed angad was taking far longer than usual to freshen up. Neev ran up the stairs and reached out to knock the door when he heard someone talking inside.
"Um, I'm sorry I promise I will not phone again it was just a game."
Neev, curios about this formal conversation opened the door and stepped inside to find angad talking to the mirror (himself).
" angad you haven't gone psycho have you"
"No I'm just practicing my conversation"
"practicing your conversation? Angad she can't exactly bite your head off you're only talking on the phone"
"Well I'm not very good at saying sorry, but you know what they say practice makes perfect"
"Are you ready yet? Cos I've bought the phone with me."
"Ok, I'm ready" angad said taking a deep breath.
"Angad it's not a boxing match you know, cool it"
Angad took the phone from neev; before angad could redial the phone rang.
"H...Hello"
"Angad? It's me pratchi what's wrong with you? Are you ok? Anyways can you pass the phone to my dear husband?"
Angad passed the phone over to neev, after about 2 minutes of conversation, neev ran down the stairs shouting "Good luck, see you tomorrow!"
"But neev." Angad ran down the stairs however he had already gone.
Angad had no choice but to make the call on his own.
"Look, I told you not to phone again" kripa voice shouted through the receiver.
"Um, look I don't want to pester you but I just wanted to say sorry for getting angry on the phone, I know it's a bit late to say sorry but they always say better late than never and I won't blame you if you still press charges so please accept my apology,"
"Mr. Khanna don't fuss about it I wasn't really going to tell the police and don't worry I'll forgive you. I only use the police thing as a threat so the pranker doesn't phone again."
"Thanks for accepting my apology and by the way my name is angad."
"I'm kripa; I hope in the future we will have no problem like this again"
"Don't worry I won't prank anyone for a while now"
"So that's it all settled, friends?"
"Ok, friends, but May I ask you something kripa? You don't even know me and you are still making friends with me how do you now I am not some mass murderer?"
"You know how you can tell a person personality by their speaking? Well, you have a soft gentle voice so I know I can trust you."
"That's nice; no one has ever said that to me before"
"Well I'm glad to be the first one, but don't go getting all happy cos it don't mean I like you" both angad and kripa laughed.
"I've got to go I'll catch up with you another time."
"Ok then angad bye"

great start!!
really enjoyed AK's first conversation, it's funny first angad fumes on the phone and then says sorry and our madan kripa first threatens him to report to police and then asked to be friends with him, looks like their interaction on phone is going to be quite interesting!!
and what with the 'khanna' surname? are angad and ronit by any chance related to each other?
