Chapter 2
Kt walked beside Laksh on the deserted dark road.She didn't know the places in Delhi everything was totaly new to her so she fallowed behind Laksh.Kt looked over at Laksh who had his clothes in one hand and one of Kt's bag's in the other.
"Well Kt this here is a park we can sleep in,"Laksh said to her.Kt looked at the park it had litter on the grounds and tthe flowers were ran over by some.The air was dusty wich made Kt cough.Laksh walked threw the park and settled down on a park bench.Kt walked up and stood infront of him.
"OMG!Here!i am not gonna sleep here, this is all because of you, I could of been in the train where it's warm and you can actually breath in the air and not sufficate!"Kt said to him."Well you could eaither sleep here or i guess not sleep at all."Kt rolled her eyes and sat down.Laksh looked at her for a second and then looke down at the ground.
Kt:you'r so young how did u do it?
L:how did i do what?
Kt:start such a big buisness?
L:my dad helped me and my ghanga mom helped.
Kt:It thought you'r mom's name was Tripti like you told me before.
Laksh told Kt the stroy about Tripti cheating on Sahil for the past 20 years.Kt understood what he was going threw rite now.Kt told him about her Maa adopting her because her real mom didn't want her.
Kt:how long has it been since you met you'r family?
L:i havent seen my family for 2 years
Kt:I heavent seen my maa in about 20 years,i dont know why she never visited me in Punjab, but i am going to visit her...........i wonder how she looks.
L:whats here name?
Kt: Tulsi.
L:cool!that's my grandma's name.
Kt smiled at him.Laksh rested his head on the arm rest at the side of the bench.He closed his eyes and queitly breathe din and out.
L:this has been a crazy day.
Kt:you think.I missed the first train in my life, I have fallowed you a total starnger to the park and now i am sleeping on a bench, yup.This has been crazy!
Kt looked over at Laksh who was resting his head on the arm rest at the side of the bench.She couldn't believ that she fallowed a totaly stranger to the park, but for some reason she felt safe with him, like he would protect her form anything, she trusted him.
L:i am not a stranger.............well i am a starnger but not a bad one.Good night let's get some sleep then early int he morning we'll...............................we'll try to catch a taxi some how.
Kt shut her eye's and queitly rested on one side of the park bench and fell asleep.
5 am in the morning..
Kt was awake already and was waiting for Laksh to wake up.She admired his beutifull face while he was asleep.Laksh asleep, felt like he was being watched, he felt un comfortable so he woke up himself.He rubbed his eye's and sat up he looked at his watch.
Kt:good morning!😃Ur finally awake!
L:how long have u been awake for?
Kt:oh who care about that let's go..........I wanna catch a bus before the leave, i want to be the firts one on it!
L:we have no money for bus tickets!
Kt:oooohhhhhh!you party pooper, just wait we'll have the money!
Laksh looked cofused, Kt grabbed his arm and carried him to the road infront of the road.Kt looked around and saw the bus stop not so far from the park.Kt smiled and ran to it while holding Laksh's hand.Kt stood under the roffed bus stop, as the rain started to pour from the sky.Fortenetly a bus was just passing by and stopped for them to get on.
Thier was no one on the bus.The driver asked the for money.
L:we have no money rite now.
Busdriver:then i would like you both to get of my bus!
He looked over at Kt who was batting her eye lashes at him.The bus driver turned red.
Kt:oh please....................😉(she winked at him)we just need a ride to the nearest ....................village from here.
She smiled at him once again as Laksh looked ta Kt rolling his eyes.
The Bus driver looked ta Kt one more time.
Laksh wisperes to Kt:this is never gonna work .
BD:fine.But only to the next village.
Kt msield at him again and blew him a kiss.Them both walked to the end of the bus and sat down.
L:wow that was amazing!
Kt:i know, i free ride😃Don't worry i will get some money for some food too.
As the drove threw Delhi Laksh pointed out some places for Kt to look at.Kt looked ta the closeness between her and Laksh.Laksh looked ta he rback he lifted his hand to touch her cheek but the bus came to a sudden stop.
BD:sorry guyz.............i guess my bus broak down.
Kt:well...............um................we can walk to the next viallage from here, thanks for the ride.
As Kt and Laksh walked out of the bus Kt stopped infrotn of the bus driver.She moved her face closer to his.She closed her eyes and he closed his.
Laksh looke dta the wondering what the hell she was doing.Kt puckere dher lips.............................rite befor their lips were abotu to touch Kt grabbed his wallet from his pocket and started to run.
Kt:LAKSH COMMON!
Laksh looked confused, did she just steel his wallet.The bus driver ran behind them.Kt pulled out some cash from his wallet and threw the rest behind her.
BD:OYE!THEIF!
The bus driver stopped since he was out of breath, he hit his head with his hand and turned back.Kt stopped far away from the bus and sat under a tree.
Kt cought her breath and laughed:IDIOT!
L:was that necessary?
Kt:i know it's against everythign that my maa told me but we had no choice did u wanna die of hunger?
L:i guess it was okay.
Kt:Oh well i left him some candy that i had in my purse in the bus.
Laksh looke dta her and started ot laugh.
Kt:hey that's more like it!ur finally happy for once!
L:what do u mean?
Kt:ur so uptight u havent let lose since the time i met you!live a little.
The sun was comming out now.Kt sat a infront of a lake.Laksh sat close beside her.
Kt:hey i dare you to jump in the lake!
L:i don't think so.
Kt:common liek i said live a little, jump in it!
L:you jump in it!
Kt:i will but only if you jump in it with me.
L:fine.
Kt pulled laksh to the bridge above the lake.Kt held his arm.
Kt:Ready!😃
L:no😕
Kt:1, 2, 3!
Kt took a step of the bridge and fell into the lake pulling Laksh along.
Kt alughed otu loud and turned and spun in the water while Laksh observed her with a smile, he was amused at how much fun Kt was having.
