The fan-fiction is essentially of a Gujarati family and Indian Muslim Family basically leaving in Mumbai.
The story is about Niyati a simple girl with simple dreams –married to her sweetheart, expecting her first baby – is living her dream – till her husband passes away and circumstances lead her to marry her brother in law – who has never approved Niyati …….eight weeks will change her life forever.
Main Characters
Niyati Sharma
Age 19
Priya plays Niyati the young, kind-hearted and high-spirited girl. She can never see anyone in pain and is always ready to help. Niyati is treated as the son of the family and is their strong support. With strong family values and belief in self, Niyati has many dreams to fulfill and take on in life.
Shaurya Khan
Age 24
Sumeet essays the role of Shaurya Khan, a dashing young man who returns home after many years of living abroad. He is the eldest son who is very responsible and affectionate towards his family. Calm, simple and down-to-earth Kabir is madly in love with Niyati and will do anything to keep her happy.
Azaan Khan
Age 22
Yasir Shah plays Azaan, Shaurya's younger brother. He and Shaurya are complete opposites; Azaan likes fast life and follows the western culture and lifestyle. He is self-opinionated with a carefree attitude. He is pursuing his law degree from London and prefers to settle there instead of joining his family business.
Part – I
Azaan in a mosque then we see a girl praying in Lord Krishna's temple even the girl's father Harsh Sharma is praying to his god. In the morning Mr. Sharma is going through some old family album when his wife enters in with his breakfast tray. He made his wife sit beside him and said at the time of our marriage you looked so beautiful. In return she said am I still beautiful today?
In return with a smile he said that you are beautiful on our marriage day then he picks out their daughter's picture.
"What happened that brought tears in your eyes?"
"How time go fast… remember the time our daughter were only six years old when they went on their first school camp and three days later our daughter Niyati is getting married to her prince charm. And all my hopes are for my strongest daughter Niyati."
Niyati is playing with her bangles and her dupatta (in the back we hear Harsh and his wife admiring Niyati's beauty and describing her by saying she is honor of our house and strongest understanding person in our house).
Later on they say after Niyati we have two naughty girls…Nisha and Esha (both girls are sleeping on their bed while they are hearing the alarm beep. Esha throws the alarm-clock on the floor, Niyati comes in and picks up the clock saying many times you guys have thrown it on the ground, but it never breaks. Before leaving the room she said that we only have 30mins to prepare for Papa's promotion party). Both girls wake up and look at Niyati.
They hear their daughters' laughter and came outside while all of them hide behind the sofa. Mr. Sharma gets astonished seeing the dinning decorated with balloons and flowers. The whole family celebrates Mr. Sharma's promotion even before he receives it from his company.
Khan house
Zarina shouting that only 1 hour 19 min left for my son to come and nothing arranged yet and her Khala said not to worry. After few hours later again Zarina comes out to ask Shah Nawaz is all arrangements fix but he was busy on phone so didn't answer her question. Again she asked the same question "if he called Azaan?" Again she didn't get a replied and was about to leave when one of the servant said "all of the arrangements are done" with a smile.
At the same time as Khan family Niyati and Mr. Sharma reached at same location, but Niyati told her father that she lefted her purse in the car.
Later on at Shaurya's Party
At Shaurya's Party the presses are waiting for him eagerly at his party. Afterwards a guy enters inside all the flashes are towards him and the handsome guy says hi. From behind him Mazhar (Shaurya's bro) says Sameer, where is Shaurya Bhai?
"He is coming"
All the presses got disappointed and said why you didn't say that before.
"Well sorry folks but Shaurya bro said to do that"
As Niyati came back she went to elevator and was about to close the door when a step in elevator stop lift and enter in the lift. When is reached to the floor Shaurya went right and Niyati went right. Niyati by accidentally entered in the wrong party and started looking for her father but she couldn't find him. Shaurya asked Sameer, where is Kareena?
Even Sameer hasn't seen Kareena so he points toward Niyati and Shaurya makes his way there and says hi. I know you asked me to meet you before our marriage, but I have some bad news that I am not ready to get married. I'm sorry Kareena
(Shaurya mistaken Niyati as Kareena) Excuse me Sir I am not Kareena.
Shaurya was shocked to hear that…
