New ff-- kismat {ak}:~part2 page2

hey all

this is my first attempt of writing a ff

so plz bear wit my if its not good.

i got the idea from this book i read and i hope i do justice to it

The crowded club was dark, hot, smoke-filled and full of people enjoying themselves

kripa eyed her watch impatiently willing josh to hurry, and then she looked up to find a complete stranger watching her intently from the far end of the club.

kripa felt an odd sensation in the pits of her stomach when dark, heavy-lidded eyes lit with recognition as they met hers.

She glanced over her shoulder sure he must be looking at some other woman, but there was no other female in sight.

kripa looked back again which was a mistake.

This time she could not look away heat rose in her face.

Reluctantly she ordered herself to stop sitting there like a hypnotized rabbit, her pulse suddenly erratic as the man put down his drink and with a purpose began to push his way through the crowd towards her.

kripa panicked at the sight of him making his way to her, but before he could reach her two men joined him blocking his way.

she finally broke eye contact, spun around and fled from the club with josh her date in pursuit.

plz comment and tell me wat you think about it

"What the hell was that about?" he panted

"Thought I saw someone I knew and didn't want to talk to plus I have a headache" she explained

josh: "so u ran?"


When she didn't reply him he knew there had to be another reason for her to leave the club so abruptly but he didn't question her.


"Let's keep in touch kripa" said ad as he opened her car door for her


"If I give u a ring soon will you have dinner wit me?" he asked looking at her


"I'd love to" agreed kripa "not now though i'm off to India and I don't know how long i'll be staying"


"So when do you think you will be back?" he asked


"I don't know, I guess as soon as I sell the house"


"Ring me when u get back…….. Ok?"


"Of course time I went ad I still have a lot of packing to do" she said giving him a goodbye hug and starting her car.


Just one more night to go she told herself then she would be in India. Dealing with her father's mess
