Hey everyone well im writing the parts quickly so that the story progresses further quickly.Im just sooo excited to get things moving on so please do stay in touch with my FF i'd just hate to loose my readersš³
The door opened to reveal his face,Bani's heart stopped beating the second she saw him.This man had entered her life just a little while ago but in every way had changed it.It was strange how circumstances always brought them together and every time Bani failed to find words.
But this she knew wasnt about him or whatever their story was,this was all about her sister whom Bani realised had been granted too much freedom.
He spoke as if reading her mind.
''Its funny how we tend to meet in situations where things never seem to favour you'
''I ....I....''Bani failed to find words to string together to produce a sentence which could possibly proove to be a clever omeback line.So she said the first thing that came into her mind.
''I need to see my sister!''.She felt stupid, she felt dumb and she felt helpless for not being able to say a single word to Raj
''Well she's resting at the moment, i think you should wait here until she gains conscious.Ive got my housekeeper leeping an eye on her.''
''Oh! ok i.....i....i'll stay here if you think thats whats best.''
''You can just relax,please be comfortable theres no need to worry.''
''Its not that im im just sorry i wasnt able to thank you the other day.You saved my life.''It was as if a huge burden had been lifted from her shoulders.She hoped in the few words she had said Rajeev would understand what he meant for her.
''That was nothing, nothing compared to what you have to go through because of me.''
'Wwwhat do you mean''Bani's heart was thumping loudly, it was gradually becoming difficult for her to speak.
''I know that you live in the house we're planning to tear down''Rajeev couldnt look into her eyes.
It was uncomfortable for both to bare that moment.Rajeev felt guilty,Bani was clueless and yet her heart was bursting with pain as though feelings had been surpressed in it.
''My sister came to see you today,Im sorry for whatever she said.''said Bani finally wanting to end that deathly silence
''Im sorry aswell.This is not what i wanted to do, if things were in my hand i would have...................'
''I can understand, if things were in your hand this would not have happened.If things were in your hand i wouldnt have to worry about my sister..........''
Rajeev silently observed Bani's simplicity. He had finally seen the warmth in her face, those huge brown eyes, the way she spoke, the way she acted they way she dressed was in complete contrast to her twin's.
The differences struck Rajeev.Tara had had the courage to stand up to him, Bani was stuggling to find words.Tara was ll about self-confidence, Bani was shy and quiet but Rajeev knew that whenever it cme to her sisters she'd come out of her protective shell.There was nothing about her which would make someone remember her thought Rajeev as he still observed the worry stricken figure but there was no hiding the fact that when she was there before your very eyes you couldnt help but like her and to feel her presence.
''If it were in my hands i wouldnt have brought you in such a situation.''
''My sister doesnt see things quite this way.She knows you're wrong and thats why she said what she said, she was just doing what she thought was best for her family''said Bani still avoiding Rajeev's gaze feeling as if his eyes were judgeing her
''Your sister said nothing which i considered wrong, i can understand her position and so i understand her actions.''
Yet again there was silence.No one spoke for s few minutes.This time Rajeev broke the silence
''I heard you came to my office for a job''
Bani look stunned, she stared at him first and later spoke'yes...yes i did but how did you find out.''
''The day you had your accident, i saw the resume and the speech you had prepared for your interview, I was impressed actually.''
''Oh well thankyou....... but ive realised that i never had the courage to give the interview.''
''I can understand but with your qualifications, i'd consider it as an honourto hire you.''
Rajeev knew he was lying,There had been nothing extraordinary about Bani's resume but the guilt wouldnt let him stop talking.
''Why is he saying all this to me''thought Bani she knew her qualifications had been average.
''The lady has gained conscious''said a squeaky voice, as Bani's head turned towards an extremely tired looking maid.
She got up right on cue with Rajeev as they headed for Raj's room.Before going though her eyes fell on a portrait.
