Part 9
Kripa woke up after a long nap just an hour before the landing. As she opened her eyes all the events of the previous couple of days flooded into her mind. She recalled how she fought with Kinkle into making her Josh's partner and not Angad's. One of Kripa's strength's was to manipulate and convince people to go according to her wishes. She used this convincing power only on suspects. It was the first time she was using it on a fellow colleague. But she dejectedly realized that if Angad had not seconded her opinion they both would have been stuck together and the present journey would not have been so serene and relaxing. Her instinct told her that these were going to be the last moments of relaxation. Something exciting aka exhausting was going to happen in the coming days. 'She did not know how exciting.'
She looked at Josh who was sitting a few seats behind her. He was gulping down a bar of milk chocolate. She had to stifle her laugh whenever she saw him. His guise was so funky. His hair was dyed purple and he had his ears pierced. He was wearing couple of earrings along his left ear lobe. A dragon tattoo was visible on his muscular arms. His outfit was of a rebel to the corporate environment. How he hated his avatar. But this was his job.
Looking forward, Kripa removed her ipod from her handbag.
The song – "Ek Ajnabee (Mama Told Me)" went blaring from the earphones. How she loved the rash, husky voice of the male singer. This song reminded her so much of her mother.
'Mama told me, don't be talking to a stranger, Stranger O stranger!!!'
She could feel certain compassion, concern and intelligence in these few words that she felt whenever her mother talked to her. The journey across from US was tiring

Gazing out of the window, with a wicked and determined mindset, he let out a horrifying snicker. As the train raced upon the tracks, the only witness to the chilling and ruthless incident, which had occurred within, was the moon peeking from behind the clouds. 'Or was it only the moon??????'

He had reached his destination. He let out a small sigh before ringing the bell on the front porch. A tall, muscular and burly butler with a ferocious look opened the mahogany door. He noticed his scrutinizing eyes light up in recognition. Handling him a package and receiving another one in return barely took a couple of minutes. Walking back to the same mode of transportation in which he had come, he opened the package greedily. His anticipation was rewarded.
There was a paper along with a thick wad of big bucks.
In the heart of the paper was written-
