Part 7

At Prem Niwas, Kt and Kashish are all alone in the whole mansion. Kashish was getting ready to go to the hospital, while Kt was also preparing to go to work.
Kt (on intercom): Kashish can you come to my room for a second
Kashish walks into her room. Kt was still busy sorting out some letter when Kashish enters the room.
Kashish: you called me?
Kt: yea…actually I forgot to give you this letter.
Kashish: letter…what letter?
Kt: I don't know…it had come yesterday by courier. Actually I was in a hurry so I though of giving it to you later but it slipped out of my mind.
Kashish: no problem!
Kt hands in the letter to Kashish. She reads the letter. As minutes passed by her striking face was transforming into astonishment.
Kt was stunned looking at her expression after reading the letter.
Kt: who send you this letter?
Kashish (with shivering lips): S...S...Sw….Swayam
Kt: what? Now what does he want?
Kashish: he is coming over
Kt: what? When?
Kashish: tomorrow
Kt: but why would he write you a letter? He could have just called you
Kashish was dumb struck. After coming back to reality she speaks up.
Kashish: he tried but my cell was on silent. He though I wasn't picking up his phone on purpose so he send me this letter through courier.
Kt: let him come in…I'll show him the way out
Kashish: he isn't that easy to deal…he is really dangerous…you remember what he did to me on the prom night.
Kt: of course, who can forget that horrible night?
Kashish sits down on the bed and starts crying while remembering her awful past. She buries her face inside the letter and remembers her awful past.

Flashback
It was last year of university. It was the prom night, the most awaited and the most memorable night for the students. Everyone was ready with their partners to rock the dance floor.
Kashish was looking stunning as always and was looking like an angel in the silvery white gown. She was talking to Kt and at the same time her eyes were stuck to the door. It seemed as if she was eagerly waiting for someone. Kashish thinking in her heart,
Kashish: what's taking him so long? Is everything alright? He should have been here before me. Argh, this is killing me! Please come fast…Please.
Kt was by now busy dancing with Laksh. They were enjoying each and every moment.
There came an announcement from the DJ.
DJ: hello people out there this is your DJ for tonight, what are you guys waiting for come ahead and rock the dance floor with your partners.
Kashish (thinking): how can I dance alone? He's not here yet.
Sujal was there in the party with another hot and sunning girl. But his eyes were just stuck at one place, on Kashish. Just then some one from behind puts his hand on Kashish's eyes. Kashish gets scared for a moment and as she turns around she finds the person she was waiting for so long. It's Swayam.
Kashish: where had you been? You know how scared I was?
Swayam: I am sorry…please
Kashish: how could you do Swayam? I was waiting for such a long time and you, no message, no phone call…it's not done.
Swayam: I said I am sorry
Kashish: its ok…now let's go
Swayam: by the way you are looking stunning today. And this is for you.
He hands over a bouquet of roses to Kashish.
Kashish: for me? How sweet! Thanks
By now Sujal was all red with anger. His eyes conveyed all his anger. His eyes were fuming. He was really upset the way Kashish looked so happy with Swayam. He was upset because he knew Swayam was using her, but he still couldn't do anything. He was really angry on himself because he was feeling so damn helpless. He was so upset that he broke the glass he was holding. His hand started bleeding profusely. People started looking at him with astonishment because everyone knew Sujal. No one expected this from Sujal.
Kashish was one of them. She knew the reason very well. Somewhere in her heart she believed Sujal. But she was some what blinded by Swayam. She considered Swayam to be accurate, perfect as anything. Seeing Sujal's wounds she felt like crying because she considered herself to be the real cause of Sujal's change in behavior. She was feeling extremely guilty.
Laksh was the first one to reach there. He was rather annoyed by Sujal's behavior. He looked at Kashish with annoyed eyes because he considered Kashish the main reason for Sujal's sadness. Kt was actually confused, Kashish being a good friend while Sujal being her lover's friend. Kt supported Sujal because she knew that it would be useless talking to Kashish because she was at present blind in love. She lost her decision power. She was no more a firm person. It wouldn't be wrong to say that the old Kashish was dead.

Part 9

Kashish couldn't stand this anymore. She was getting sick in this atmosphere. She wanted to leave this place at any cost. She looked at Swayam with pleading eyes.
Kashish: Swayam…I am not feeling good can we leave from here. Please
Swayam wasn't ready because he was enjoying the party. He was enjoying the way Sujal got hurt. He wanted to add some more salt to Sujal's wounds. But he couldn't say no to Kashish so he gave in and they left the party.
Sujal didn't even care about his wounds. He looked for Kashish but she was nowhere to be found. There Kashish and Swayam were seated in a car and they left for their campus. For the first time Kashish was feeling uncomfortable next to Swayam. Her eyes were searching for a glimpse of Sujal. She was feeling very uneasy in the car. She was getting glimpses of the incident that had just occurred in front of her eyes.
Swayam applies a sudden brake. The car stops with a jerk. Kashish looks at Swayam with a questioning face.
Kashish: why did you stop the car?
Swayam: I felt so
Kashish: oh please…now start the car
Swayam: Kashish…it's such a romantic place
Kashish: you call this a romantic place Swayam? It's such a lonely, creepy and so scary
Swayam: why don't you understand Kashish…we are all alone…no one else besides me and you. (Trying to come closer)
Kashish (pushing him back): what do you mean?
Swayam: don't act so dumb….Kashish what does a guy and a girl do in such a place inside a car?
Kashish: don't you dare think of this
Swayam: why? Don't you want it too?
Kashish slaps him. The sound echoed.
Swayam: how dare you…you slapped Swayam Shergill…you don't know who am I and what I can do?
He is holding Kashish's hand. While she is trying to free herself out of those strong arms. She was on the verge of crying. She was pleading him to leave her.
Kashish: please leave me…please…for god sake please…its hurting me…please leave me
Swayam: never…what do you think am I a fool…
Swayam is going closer and closer to Kashish. He held her by her waist by one hand. He is trying to touch her face by one finger, while Kashish is trying to back off.
Swayam is laughing at her. Kashish is weeping like hell.
Swayam: ahhh, Kashish! I pity you! You were so proud of your beauty …right? Now what… In a flick of time…I'll turn your beautiful face into an ugly face. Then what will happen…Kashish? You'll die…you won't be able to show your face to anyone…you'll be ashamed of yourself…and then Sujal…
Kashish: dare you take his name?
Swayam: oh my! What a love?
Kashish: I don't love him…he is a very dear friend of mine…just a friend…what do you know about friendship? For you there is only one relationship between a guy and a girl and that is love but you have forgotten that there can be another relation and that of friends.
Swayam: let's see how strong the bond is between you both…will he be able to save you…You are wrong Kashish…he still loves you…didn't you see in the party? He's crazy about you...while me, I NEVER LOVED YOU…I just wanted to win the bet at any cost.

Part 10

Kashish couldn't utter a single word. She was dumbstruck. Swayam was moving closer and closer to Kashish, but she was still. She didn't know what was going on in around her. Swayam was now only one breath away when Kashish suddenly realized what was going on. She just pushed him back and tried to run out of the car
Kashish was running and behind her was Swayam in order to catch her. She was running like anything. And behind her Swayam was yelling her name to stop her. All of a sudden Kashish bumps into a person. She pleaded that person to help her out.
Kashish: excuse me...please can you help me out…my life is in danger…that guy…that guy is trying to…please save me…please.
And she hugs that guy unknowingly. Slowly we see that guy's face. It's none other than Sujal. Kashish was too scared to look up and see who that guy was. Swayam comes running and is shell shocked to see the person holding Kashish.
Swayam: Sujal
Kashish looks up and sees that the guy whom she hugged a few seconds back was none other than Sujal. He is really angry. He feels like beating the hell out of Swayam. He holds Swayam by his collar and he is about to punch Swayam when Kashish yells to stop him.
Kashish: stop it
Sujal: Kashish…he tried to…I am not going to spare him. I am going to beat the hell out of him. It's high time he realizes this. Today I am not going to leave him.
Kashish: Sujal…but listen to me…I'll be the one to punish him and not you. He was talking all rubbish about our friendship. And now I'll prove to him that there can be friendship between a girl and a guy
Sujal: but how
Kashish: will you marry me…Sujal?
Sujal: m...m…marry…you
Kashish: will you?
Sujal: yes
Kashish goes to Sujal and gives him a tight hug. Kashish didn't know what she had done. She never regretted her decision. For Sujal it was the happiest moment in his life. At one time, he thought he lost Kashish for ever but now Kashish is all his.
Kt and Laksh came into the scene. They were happy for Sujal and Kashish. They decided to spare Swayam and give him one last chance by going away from their lives. Swayam had no other option but to accept this condition. He left them. After that no one knew where he went. No one from the university was in contact with him because by now everyone knew Swayam quite well and was quite aware about his loose character.
