Chapter six

nimmo is all shocked to see him there. but before kunal can answer her question, naina came there running.

naina: hey nimmo, kya tum inhe jaante ho? well he is my boss Mr.

nims: naina, kya maine tumse yeh kahaa ki mein isse jaanti hoon, toh phir,

naina: are maine kya kiya? mein toh bas...

nims: naina, mujhe papa se milna hai, bye.

and she gives kunal a very angry look.

naina: i'm sorry sir, lekhin woh meri behen aur lagta hai uska mod teek nahi hai.

kunu: its ok naina. u go and enjoy the party.

naina: i'm really very sir.

and she leaves and kunal is still staring at nimmo's beauty who was talking to jaanvi.

jaan: kya kar rahi thi tum? aur kya tum usse jaanti ho? kaun hai woh.

nims: yahi woh mall wala aadmi hai.

jaan: oh. toh tum donon kya baat kar rahe the?

nims: kuch nahi. bas ek doosre se pooch rahe the ki hum donon yahaan kya kar rahe hain.

jaan: aur usne kya kahaa?

jaanvi notices that kunal is just staring at nimmo.

nims: woh bhi ek sehgal hai. aur woh naina ki boss hai.

jaan: achcha??

then nimmo and jaanvi talk with naina and swati. suddenly the light goes off and then at the centre light stands rithi. the song salaam-e-ishq starts playing and nimmo stands there smiling. slowly the lights are put on and rithi sees nimmo and pulls her on the dance floor. she dances very well. kunal just keeps staring at her. jaanvi looks at him, but he still looking at nimmo. and then nimmo pulls jaanvi, swati and naina also. all dance together.kunal joins the dance and then at the end all the girls who were dancing hold a partner and turn around fast.(remember, after the one year leap on nats-kunu wedding anniversary, kunal holds nimmo in his arms, when they circle round) the same way nimmo and jaanvi circle round and round and nimmo looses her grip and is about to fall when our hero-kunal catches her by her waist and there is the kodak moment. they look at each other. but then not for long before that itself rithi, naina and the others gather around and take nimmo. kunal still looks at her but nimmo doesnt notice him.

kunal thinks: my god, kitni khoobsoorat lag rahi hai. par she is very stubborn. bahut ziddi hai. phir bhi i cant take my eyes of her. come on kunal, control.

he looks away from her and meets some guests.

it was dinner time. nimmo and jaanvi are taking the food. nimmo was talking to jaanvi and moving towards the left.suddenly she hits kunal and the juice she was holding in her left hand spills on him.

nims: oh... i'm sorry,.......................oh , tum the!!!

she did not know it was kunal at first.

nims: toh mein apni sorry waapas le rahi hoon.

kunu: hey, tum apne aapko samajthe kya ho? dekho tumne mere kapde ka kya haal bana diya hai.

nims: teek tharah se yaad karo. jab tumne uss dhin mujhpar paani splash kiya tha, tab kya kahaa tha? "koi jaan boochkar aisa karega kya?" yaad hai?

kunu: lekhin tumne yeh jaan boochkar hi kiya hoga.

nims: yeh tum kaise keh sakte ho? anyways, yeh toh tumaara hi ghar hai, jab chaho kapde badal sakte ho. aur tumaare paas bahut saare dresses bhi honge. so be a good bo and change your dress. bye!

she goes away with jaanvi and a frustrated kunal goes upstairs. after about half an hour, dadaji and anand are talking and ...............

dadaji: ek minute anand, rithi...rithi beta...., are yeh ladki kahaan chali gayi.

anand:kya baat hai dadaji?

dadaji: woh upar do kamre mein kuch gifts rakhi hai, usse neeche laane ke liye...

anand: toh mein apne beti ko bulatha hoon. nimmo, nimmo beta, zara yahaan aao.

nims: kya baat hai papa?

anand: beta, yeh hain dadaji. aur dadaji, yeh meri badi beti, namrata. hum isse pyaar se nimmo bulathe hain.

nims: namaste dadaji.

and she bends down, touches his feet.

dadaji: jeethi raho beta

anand: nimmo, upar do kamre mein kuch gifts rakha hai,usse neeche lekar aao na.

nims: ok papa... jaanvi; tum bhi mere saat chalo.

they go upstairs and nimmo points at the room on the left.

nims: jaanvi, tum iss kamre mein jao, mein wahaan jaati hoon.

jaan: ok

nimmo accidently goes into kunal's room and is shocked to see him in his pants and vest only. she turns around but then slowly turns back and looks at him.he was looking at the bed, where more than 7 suits were laid. nimmo felt like laughing. then she made a noise with her throat..........

nims: hem hem....

kunu: tum??????? tum mere kamre mein kya kar rahi ho? bahar jao.

nims: dadaji ne kahaa ki yahaan kuch gift rakhi hai, mein usse lene aayi thi

kunu: woh sab doosre kamre mein hai

nims: ok..................... wiase tum yahaan kade kade kya kar rahe ho?

kunu: tumhe kya pharak padtha hai? aur jaldi se jao.

nims: lekhin, mein tumaari help karna chahthi hoon. galti toh meri thi. aur meine apne sorry bhi waapas le liya.

kunu: my god!! kam se kam tumne yeh toh maan liya.

nims: abh mujhe samaj mein aaya ki tum aadhe gante se yahaan kar rahe the.

kunu: kya???

nims: chupane ki koi zaroorat nahi. tum apne dress se lekar confused the ki kaunsa pehnoge!!! hai na?

kunu: nahi, aisi koi baat nahi.

nims: come on! sharmaane ki koi baat nahi hai!!!

kunu: stop it ok? abh please yahaan se jao!!!

nims: nahi!!!!!

kunu: what do u mean "nahi"?

nims: mera matlab hai, mein tumaari help karthi hoon. apne galti ko sudaarne ke liye.

kunu: uski koi zaroorat nahi. thanks for your offer!!!

nims: its ok. mein kisi ko nahi bataoongi.

before he could say anything, nimmo chooses a dress.

nims: yeh lo! yeh pehen lo. white is my favourite.

kunu: thanks(a bit shy)

nims: toh mein chalthi hoon.

she turns around, but stops. the problem was her saree. she turned around to see that it got stuck in his bed.

nims: offo!!! yeh saree bhi. maine jaanvi se pehle hi kahaa tha ki mujhe saree nahi pehenni hai. abh isse mein..........

kunu: dont worry! i'll take it for you.

nims: achchca??? toh woh bhi dekh lenge.

she tries hard, but it does not work.

nims(thinks): yeh saari bhi. abh yeh kya soch raha hoga.....

kunu: maine kahaa ba? koi baat nahi. mein help kar detha hoon.

nims: its ok. mein khudh kar loongi.

kunu: dekho? sharmaane vali koi baat nahi hai. mein kisi se nahi kahoonga!

nims: tum mere mazaak uda rahe ho kya?

kunu: nahi toh. absolutely no.

and he bends down and releases it in jiffy.

kunu: thats it!!! dekha? abh kaisa aa gaya?

nims: thanks. toh mein chalthi hoon.

and she leaves. kunal just smiles looking at her till she goes out of the room. after going outsidenimo starts laughing and then goes in the room jaanvi was there.

jaan: nimmo? kahaan thi tum?

nims:(laughing) woh jaanvi.......

jaan: baat kya hai? tum itni huss kyun rahi ho?

nims: woh mein actually galti se uski kamre mein chali gayi.

jaan: kiske?

nims: are wahi, mera dushmann, jise meine mall mein mili thi.

jaan: nimmo, tumhe abhi tak uski naam nahi patha? agar naam poochthe, toh kehne ke aasaan ho jatha na!

nims: haan lekhin main poochna bhool gayi. aur jaankar bhi mein kya karoongi... woh sab chod, pehle mere baat sunn. jab mein uske kamre mein gayi thi, tab.....(she tells everything that happened)

jaan: toh isme hasne ki kya baat hai?

nims: are, agar tumne uska chehraa dekha hota, jab woh confused tha, toh tumhe bhi hasii aa jaati.

but all of a sudden, jaanvi's face face changes when nimmo was telling this. and then nimmo notices it and.......

nims: abh tumhe kya hua???

jaan:(whispers) tumaare peeche dekho!!!!

nimmo turns around to see kunal there. he was stanting there really angry and nimmo is all shocked.....

nimmo was looking at him and then changes expression as if she did not say anything abt him and
nims: tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?
he does not answer her.
nims: hello??? mein tumse pooch rahi hoon. tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?
kunu: yeh mera ghar hai. aur mein jab chahoon yahaan aa sakta hoon. understand.
nims: ok!!! toh chalo jaanvi, hum yahaan se chalthe hain.
but kunal blocks her way
nims: dekho, dadaji ne hume neeche bulaya hai, isliye apne haat hatao.
but he did not take his hand.
jaan: please hume jaane deejiye, neeche hume bula rahen hain.
just then varsha comes there,
varsha: are kunal, tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho? aur tum donon, yeh gifts neeche lekar jao.
and she leaves.

and they both leave.
they distribute all the gifts and nimmo talks with everyone in the family. dadaji and dadiji are very much impressed with her. and shraddha also likes her a lot. dadaji calls aman.
aman: daddiji, apne mujhe bulaya?
dada: haan aman, tumse ek baat poochni thi.
aman: haan, toh poochiye!
dada: tumne uss ladki se mili? woh blue saree ki ladki
aman: oh, woh toh nimmo hai
dada: haan mujhe patha hai
aman: toh?
dadi: toh aman, hum soch rahe the ki kyun na hum uss ladki ko humaare kunal ke liya dekhe?
aman: lekhin, humhe unse baat toh karna chahiye
dada: iska matlab, tumhe iss rishthe se koi problem nahi hai?
aman: come on mom, agar aapne apne pothe ke liye yeh socha hai, toh mein uska pitha hoon. mein bhi toh isi ke baare mein soch raha tha.
dadi: aur varsha?
aman: varsha? ussi ne iss baat ke baare mein mujhse pehle poochi thi. abh hume bas, kunal se aur nimmo ke ghar waalon se baat karna hai
dada: kunal se baal karne ki kya zaroorat hai. woh humaare baat zaroor maanega.
aman: haan. toh phir anandji se poochthe hain.
dadaji talks to anand abt nimmo and kunal' marriage. anand was extremely overwhelmed. he had no words to express how happy he was. but he had the thing in his mind tht they are all middleclass and how nimmo can come to their house as bahu and ...... but dadaji and dadiji convinced him that nimmo will live in their house like a princess and there will be no worry for her. and after much talk anand agrees and tells them to come to his house to see nimmo the next day.
dada: lekhin nimmo ghar mein hogi kya?
anand: haan, kal saturday hai na. usse office nahi hai.
dadi: office?? woh kaam kahaan karti hai?
anand: woh KS group of industries mein kaam karti hai.
dadi: lekhin woh toh abh humaare ghar ki bahu banne wali hai toh kyun na woh humaare company mein aa jaaye. kyun ji?
dada: haan anand, aur woh kunal ki PA ki post mein join kar sakti hai.
anand: maaf kijiye lekhin yeh baat aap khudh nimmo se baat karna hi teek hoga.
aman: aap uss baat ki chintha chodiye aur kal ke liye thayyariyaan kijiye.
anand: nimmo bahut hi kismat waali hai.
and the party continues and it was time for them to leave. nimmo meets dadaji...
nims: teek hai dadaji hum chalthe hain. aapse milkar bahut khushi hui.
dada:mujhe bhi tumse milkar bahut khushi hui. hamesha khush raho.
and they leave and when nimmo is near the door she stops.
nims: offo, phir se yeh saari, aey jaanvi, hmm woh toh chali.
she turns around to release her saree, but wat a shock.....it was kunal holding it and it was not stuck.
nims: tum?????? yeh tum kya kar rahe ho? chodo na. mujhe jaana hai. dekho, agar tum aise hi pakadthe rahoge toh mein chillaoongi.
varsha was watching this from a distance.
he pulls the pallu and nimmo moves forward and falls into his arms. he holds her by her waist. no one was around as all were in the main hall, only varsha was watching secretly from behind the curtain.
nims: yeh tum kya kar rahe ho? dekho, mein jaanti hoon ki tum mere saat naraaz ho aur mujhse badla lena chahthe ho. lekhin yeh bahut galat hai. chodo mujhe chodooo.
kunu: shhhh..... chilla kyun rahi ho?
nims: toh phir aur kya karoongi. dekho, mein shor machaoongi.
kunu: mein tumhe kuch nahi karoonga. tumse baat kehni thi...
nims: woh tum mujhe chodkar bhi keh sakthe ho.
kunu: nahi. agar tumhe mein chod doonga toh mera baat bekaar ho jaayega.
nims: kyun kar rahe ho mere saat yeh sab. hamesha mujhe hi kyun statathe ho? meine aise kya galti kar di hai.
kunu: shhhhhh......
he places his finger on his lips....
kunu: bahut bolthi ho. mujhe bolne ki mauka hi nahi dethi.
she stares at him and looks deep into his eyes( they were standing very close to each other) and suddenly jaanvi comes looking for nimmo and just stops wen she sees them and hides to watch all the fun...
kunu: mein bas itna kehna chahtha hoon ki tum bahut KHOOBSOORAT lag rahi ho. sach, aaj mein tumaare khoobsoorati mein fida ho gaya.
she was looking at him without even blinking.
kunu:hmmmmm kaash tumaara dil bhi itna hi khoobsoorat hota.
she comes to senses when he said this and pushes him, but he was holding her so strongly tht she had to stop. he turned at him again and a smiling kunal stood there looking at her. she pulled the pallu and he left go and she walks out.
kunu: thinks- dekh loonga tumhe.
and he goes inside.
nimmo goes outside and sees jaanvi..................
nims: tum?? tum kab aayi?
jaan: mein abhi abhi tumhe bulaane ke liya aa rahi thi. kya kar rahi thi?
nims: woh...woh... actually meri saari phir se....
jaan: teek hai teek hai, chalthe hain.
and they leave. on the way in the scooter jaanvi talks with nimmo abt kunal
jaan: nimmo tumse ek baat poochoon?
nims: haan!!
jaan: tumhe woh kaisa laga?
nims: woh matlab?
jaan: woh mall wala.
nims: baththameez hai.
jaan: kya????
nims: mera matlab.... abh tum uske baare mein baat kyun kar rahi ho?
jaan: bas aise hi pooch rahi thi. mujhe lagtha hai ki woh tumhe bahut pasand kartha hai.
nimmo has a flashback of the scene when he holds her and complements tht she was beautiful
nims: kya? woh aur mujhe? never. aisa ho hi nahi saktha. tume aisa kyun laga.
jaan: kuch nahi, woh aaj sirf tumhe hi dekh raha tha woh bhi ghoor ghoor ke.
nims: stop it jaanvi . mein uske baare baat nahi karna chahthi. teek hai?
jaan: ok ok....
and they go home.

in kunal's house everyone has asembled at the hall. dadaji had called for a meeting.
dada: sab aa gaye? teek hai. toh mein aap sab se baat kehna chahtha hoon. especially kunal se.
kunu: ji dadaji? baat kya hai.
dadi: humne kunal ke liye ek ladki pasand kiya hai.
kunu: what?????????
dadaji: haan, aur hum unke ghar jaa rahen hain kal, baat pakhi karne ke liye.
kunu: yeh kaise ho saktha hai? mere permission ke bina aap kaise....
aman: kunal!!! yeh tum apne dadaji se kaise baatein kar rahe ho?
kunu: sorry dad. sorry dadaji. lekhin abhi mera umr hi kya hai. what's my age? shaadi ki kya jaldi hai?
dadi: u r 28 now kunal. tumaare shaadi ka waqt ho gaya hai.
kunu: lekhin dadiji....
shraddha: ek minute mummiji, mein kunal se baat karthi hoon,
kunu: mein kisi ke nahi sunoonga. waise ladki kaun hai??
aman: woh anand ki beti, namrata.
kunu: woh kaun?
dadi: are wahi ladki joh aaj woh blue saari pehni thi. usne dance bhi kiya tha.
kunu: no way. uss ladki ke saat shaadi??? never.......
shraddha: kunal, ek minute mere saat aao.
kunu: momo, aap samajne ki khoshish kyun nahi karti.......uss ladki ke saat mein shaadi kabhi nahi karoonga....
rithi: lekhin bhaiya, aap kyun yeh shaadi nahi karna chahthe? koi toh wajaah hoga!
kunu: uski behaviour mujhse nahi milthi..... i'm sure ki shaadi ke baad bhi hum donon ke beech sirf jagda hi hoga.
rishab: matlab? hum nahi samje!
kunu: matlab, hum donon iske pehle bhi mile hain aur jab bhi mile tab sirf aur sirf jagda hi hua hai aur kuch nahi......
shraddha: kunal, pehle tum mere saat aao, mein tumse kuch poochna chahthi hoon. chalo mere saat...
kunu: lekhin mom....
aman:kunal tumaari mom bula rahi hai na? jao....
he gives a sigh and goes into a room with shraddha.....
kunu: kya baat hai mom??? aap mujhse kya poochna chahthi hain?
shraddha: pehle tum yeh wadaa karo ki jhoot nahi bologe!
kunu: come on mom, meine aapse kabhi jhoot kaha hai. i promise...
shraddha: tum nimmo ke saat wahaan darwaaze ke paas kya kar rahe the?
kunu: kab? aur kaunsa darwaaza?
shraddha: jab woh ghar jaa rahi thi tumne uske saari pakad liya tha.......yaad aaya?
kunu: mom, aapne woh sab dekh liya kya(he felt embrassed)
shraddha: haan, aur tum donon ki baatein bhi sunn liya tha...
kunu: woh mom, actually baat yeh hai ki woh meri mazaak uda rahi thi, isliye mein bahut gussa ho gaya....
shraddha: achcha!!!! toh tum gusse mein the. mujhe yeh nahi patha tha ki loag gusse mein ladkiyon ko gale lagathe hain......
kunu: mom, aap mere mazaak kyun uda rahin hain... aap samajne ki koshish kijiya na.... aapko patha nahi ki usne mere saat kya kya kiya hai.....
shraddha: kunal......dekho mein woh sab jaanna nahi jaanthi. mujhe patha hai ki tum us ladki ko pasand karthe ho....
kunu: nahi mom, aisi koi baat nahi. mein aur uss ladki ko......ugh
shraddha: nahi toh tumne usse yeh kyun kahaa ki woh bahut khoobsoorat lag rahi thi...batao??
kunu: mom, aap do alag baaton ko mila rahin hai....
shraddha: dekho kunal... tum apne iss rishthe ko ek mauka toh de sakti ho....
kunu: nahi mom...mein yeh nahi kar paoonga....
shraddha: nahi kunal tumhe mere liye yeh karna hi padega.....kya tum apne maa ke liye itna bhi nahi kar sakthe??? please kunal, ek mauka toh do na?
kunu: ok ok, mein usse shaadi karne ke liye thayyar hoon, lekhin ek sharth par....
shraddha: aur woh kya???
kunu: mein iss shaadi ko sirf ek maheene ka mauka doonga....aur teek nahi hua, mera matlab hum donon khush nahi hain toh thats it, hum alag ho jaayenge....
shraddha: ok......
kunu: aur aapko yeh baat sabhi se keh deejiye....
shraddha: teek hai, sabhi se kehti hoon.....
kunu: aur uss namrata se bhi keh deejiye....
shraddha: nahi, woh mein nahi kar sakti.....
kunu: kyun nahi????
shraddha: woh tumhe khudh patha chal jaayega!!!
kunu: mom, please.....
shraddha: abh chup.....chalo mere saat....
they go back to the hall. shraddha announces that kunal is ready for the marriage. everyone is happy, especially dadaji and dadiji. kunal goes upstairs when rishab calls him....
rishab: bhai, aapse ek baat kehna bhool gaye...kal hum nimmo bhabhi ke ghar jaa rahen hain, ladki pasand karne ke liye..
kunu: NIMMO BHABHI??????? woh kaun???
rishab: are, abh toh aap donon ki shaadi hone waali hai, toh mein unhe bhabhi hi bulaoonga...
kunu: woh sab teek hai, lekhin uski naam toh naramta hai na?
rishab: haan, lekhin unhe sab pyaar se nimmo bulaathe hain. ok then bhai, have a gud night sleep.....gudnight.....
kunu: nimmo!!! kitni ajeeb naam hai.
and continues walking on the stairs and suddenly stops.
kunu: meine yeh naam kahin suna hai. nimmo,.........................yes, yeh toh ussi phone waali ladki ki naam hai...... iska matlab mein har roz, ussi ladki se baat kar raha tha jiske saat har roz meri jagda hoti hai.....oh my god....this is amazing..phone mein toh woh teek tharah se baat karthi hai. iska matlab woh sirf mere saat yeh sab karthi hai...teek hai...abh mein uske saat aisa khel kheloonga, joh woh kabhi bhool nahi paayegi...abh aayga mazaaa...
he runs to his room, takes nimmo's cell and calls her......nimmo was sleeping when the phone rings....
nims: lo, aa gayi ek aur ladki ki phone.....
she picks the phone
nims: hello???? kaun bol raha hai???
kunu: hello? mein kunal bol raha hoon...
nims: kya baat hai kunal? itni raat ko tumne phione kyun kiya???
kunu: tumse ek zaroori baat kehni thi...
nims: woh toh tum kal subah bhi keh sakthe the...
kunu: nahi, its very urgent....
nims: teek hai...baat kya hai?
kunu: woh mein actually kal california jaa raha hoon..
nims: kya??? california??? lekhin kyun? aur tum yeh baat mujhe itni dher se kyun bata rahe ho...pehle kyun nahi kaha?
kunu: woh sab kuch jaldi mein ho gaya isliye...wahaan mujhe ek job oppurtunity mili hai
nims: toh mujhe apna phone kab milega???
kunu: wait wait, wahi toh mein kehne wala tha...kal shaam ko meri flight hai...isliye mein tumse mil nahi paoonga!
nims: matlab?
kunu: matlab yeh ki, kal shaam 4.30 ko tum nehru park mein aajana. mera ek dosth hai, woh tumhe tumhaara cell lauta dega....
nims: aur tumhaara cell???
kunu: woh tum usse de dena. ok?
nims: ok. waise tumhaare iss friend ka naam kya hai?
kunu: uska naam bhi kunal hai...kunal sehgal...
nims: wat??? kunal??? tumhaara dosth ka naam kunal hai...wow...yeh toh bahut kamaal hai.....wait e second...kya tumne uska naam kunal sehgal kahaa???
kunu: haan toh??? tim usse jaanthe ho??
nims: patha nahi!!!!
kunu: patha nahi!!! kya matlab?
nims: woh kiska beta hai aur kya kartha hai? uski shaadi ho gayi kya?
kunu: nahi toh, aur woh kaam kartha hai, mera matlab he is one of the MDs of sehgal group of industries......
nims: aur woh kiska beta hai???
kunu: woh aman uncle aur shraddha aunty ka beta hai
nims: mar gayi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kunu: tumne kuch kahaa??
nims: nahi toh!!!
kunal is smiling as his plan is slowly working...
kunu: toh boolna math, kal shaam 4.30, ok?
nims: ok. bye gudnight....
kunu: ok
nims: oh no, yeh mein kahaan phas gayi, phir se usse milna padega...mein toh gayi.....
kunu: abh dektha hoon ki woh mujhse kaise bachthi hai.....

Chapter nine


next day nimmo is having a very gud sleep, but is waken up by Kantaben...
KB: nimmo, utto na. itni subah ho gayi aur abhi bhi so rahi hai.
nims: kya baat hai kantamaasi? aaj saturday hai, isliye please mujhe sone deejiye...
KB: nimmo....nimmo.....dekho anand tumse kuch kehna chahtha hai, isliye utto....

everyone leave the hall including nimmo and jaanvi...the whole day is spent for arranging the house as the sehgals are arriving. and at 4'o clock nimmo and jaanvi leave to the park.
jaan: nimmo pehle yeh batao ki hum park kyun jaa rahen hain?
nims: kunal se milne...
jaan: kunal se milne?
nims: haan, kunal sehgal...woh mera mobile lautaane ke liye aa raha hai.
jaan: achcha??? ok.........
they reach the park and r standing at the middle of it... suddenly jaanvi sees kunal coming from nimmo's back...he sees jaanvi looking at him and shows action to go away....jaanvi understands it and....
jaan: are nimmo, mein apni mobile scooter mein bhool gayi, abhi lekar aati hoon....
nims: teek hai, lekhin jaldi aa jaana...
jaanvi leaves from there and nimmo is standing alone. kunal comes from the back and kisses her cheek....nimmo is all shocked and places her palm on her cheek and turns around to see kunal....
kunu: hi!!! toh kaisi ho? how r u?
she gets real angry and her face is all red...
kunu: lagta hai ki tum naaraaz ho....can i know the reason.....
nims: you you....tumaari himmat kaisi hui aise karne ke liye....how dare you.....kya chahthe ho tum...kyun hamesha meri thang karthe ho?
kunu: hey come on, chill man....iss modern world mein yeh sab toh hota hai....
nims: lekhin meri sanskaar mein aise nahi karthe.....aur aaj meri shaadi bhi pakki hone waali hai...
kunu: shaadi????? oh my god this is so funny...tumaari aur shaadi.....oh my god.....
nims: kyun? isme hasne ki kya baat hai?
kunu: woh ladka joh bhi hai, bechara, woh toh phas gaya...
nims: dekho, mujhe tumaari baat sunne ki koi shauk nahi, jaldi se mera phone waapas kar do, mujhe jaana hai.
kunu: ok ok, lagta hai paanch baj gaya hai, i have an important meeting, yeh lo tumaara phone...

and she meets jaanvi on her way and tells her that its already late and they should be leaving. they leave as fast as they could, but their bad luck, it started raining and they went home really wet. they were near the gate and saw that 3 cars were standing outside.
nims: lagtha hai, woh log aa gaye.
jaan: ek kaam karthen hain, hum peeche ke darwaaze se jaate hain.
they go inside through the back door, and meet naina.....

Chapter Ten


nimmo and jaanvi meet naina when they are entering through the back door.
naina: nimmo? kahaan chali gayi thi. swati ne kahaa tha na ki..........
nims: naina plz, woh meri meeting mein kuch dher ho gayi, aur achanak baarish bhi hone laga isliye hum...
just then swati comes there....
swati: thank god tum aa gayi.
nims: sab log aa gaye kya?
naina: nahi, ladka abhi tak nahi aaya hai!
jaan: haan, kaise aa paayega?
nims: kya matlab?
jaan: kuch nahi, bas aise hi keh rahi thi. tujhe joh dekhne aa raha hai!!!
swati: woh sab chodo, abh jaldi se thayyar ho jao.
nims: teek hai
naina: meine tumaari dress bed par rakha hai, ok?
nimmo goes into her room, and KB meets naina,
KB: hey naina, nimmo aa gayi kya?
naina: haan, abhi abhi aayi hai.
KB: achcha hua. kunal bhi aa gaya.
naina: sir aa gaye?
they both go to the hall where all are talking.
shraddha: kahaan the tum?
kunu: woh ek important meeting thi, isliye dher ho gayi.
dadi: toh kya nimmo aa gayi?
swati: haan, woh bas thayyar ho rahi hai, abhi bulaati hoon.
she goes inside and nimmo is making her wet hair. she was about to tie her hair when swati tells her to leave her hair open.
swati: are, apne baal khula hi chod do.......yes, now u r looking beautiful. abh chalo...
nims: swati, mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai...
swati: are isme darrne ki kya baat hai. yeh lo, mittayi,.....
nimmo takes the tray and goes to the hall. kunal was not looking, instead talking with rishab.
dadi: lo, aa gayi nimmo....
everyone looks at her and kunal turns his face to see her.......and...........her hair was flying in the air and earrings were shaking, her bangles were making sound and her saree, she was looking gorgeous and kunal was lost in thoughts.
shraddha: kunal? aise ghoor ghoor ke kya dekh rahe ho. apne mooh toh bandh karo(she wispered in his ears)
kunal closes his open mouth and feels embrassed in front of his mother and looks at nimmo casually.
dada: nimmo, are neeche kya dekh rahi ho? ladke ko dekho....
nimmo slowly raises her head, looks at everyone, her eyes just gets paased by kunal and suddenly she looks at kunal and is all shocked....
nims: tum????????????? tumaari himmat kaisi hui mere ghar aane ki...........
naina: nimmo, yeh tum kya bol rahi ho?
nimmo then realises that his whole family is here and tries to apologise.
nims: oh...i'm sorry, woh mein bas, aise hi.....mein soch rahi thi ki koi aur hai...mera matlab, meine kunal ko teek tharah se nahi dekha aur galti se usse......
shraddha: koi baat nahi nimmo, humhe sab kuch patha hai. kunal ne mujhse kaha ki tum donon hamesha jagda karthe aaye ho. woh sab puraani baat hai....hum sab chahthe hain ki tum donon ek ho jao.......tumhe koi aitraaz toh nahi hai na?
anand: nahi, nimmo ko koi aitraaz nahi hai, humne kal usse poocha tha. aur usne shaadi ke liye haan kar diya hai.
aman: phir bhi hum nimmo ke mooh se sunna chahthen hain ki usse yeh shaadi manzoor hai.
kunal was thinking in his mind(plz plz plz na kar do, keh do ki tumhe yeh shaadi nahi karni plz)
nims: mein yeh shaadi karne ke liye thayyar hoon. aap sabne milkar yeh phaisla liya hai, aur badon ki phaisla kabhi galat nahi hoti, toh mujhe koi aitraaz nahi hai.
dada: yeh hui na baat. teek hai toh hum sagaayi aur shaadi ki date fix karthe hain, tab tak tum donon akele mein kuch baatein kar lo.
swati: nimmo, tum kunal ko teraace mein le jao.......chaliye jeeju
nims: jeeju??????????
swati: haan, abh toh yeh humaare jeeju banne waale hain, toh.............
nimmo goes up first while kunal goes up after some time.
nimmo was standing and kunal was going towards her from the back but she turned around knowing that he was coming. as she turned droplets of water from her wet hair falls on kunal's face and he closes his eyes, but opens it soon as nimmo had started talking...
nims: mujhe wishwaas hi nahi ho raha ki meri shaadi hone waali hai, aur voh bhi tumse....i just cant believe it......
kunu: its ok nimmo, shuroo shuroo mein, main bhi issi tharah feel kar raha tha, then slowly, .....tum bhi bhool jaogi.
nims: bhool jaoongi???? how can you say such a thing kunal? yeh shaadi ki baat hai, koi bachchon ki khel nahi. i just cant imagine it...kya karonngi mein tumaare saat?
kunu: hey chill man, dekho! mere paas ek idea hai. meine apne mom se baat ki hai aur unhone mujhe ek maheene ka waqt diya hai.
nims: mein kuch bhi nahi samji!!!!!
kunu: dekho, humaari shaadi hogi aur agar ek maheene ke baad bhi humaara yeh rishta teek tharah se nahi chali toh, hum alag ho sakthe hain. meine issi sharth par iss shaadi ke liye haan kiya hai.
nims: yeh sab toh teek hai, lekhin mere ghar mein, mein yeh baat unse kaise kahoongi?
kunu: kehne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. mein tumaare gharwaalon ke saamne buri tharah se peash aoonga aur tum mere ghar mein. automatically we'll get seperated. kyun?
nims: ok then. idea uthna bhi bura nahi hai.....phir bhi ek maheena woh bhi tumaare saat.......
kunu: mujhe patha hai, kyunki mein bhi wahi feel kar raha hoon
just then sanjay comes there running.
sanjay: chachu chachu!!!!!
kunu: kya baat hai sanju?
nims: kunal yeh kaun hai?
kunu: yeh? yeh samar ka beta hai, sanjay.aur sanjay yeh hai nimmo
sanju: haan patha hai. mom ne kahaa ki yahi meri nayi chachi hai. hi chachi....
nimmo was impressed with sanjay...
nims: hi sanju! aap kya karthe ho?
sanju: mein 3rd standard mein pad raha hoon.
nims: achcha? so nice. kunal yeh toh bahut cute hai, bilkul tumaare tharah nahi hai....
kunu: what do you mean? ghar mein sab log kehthen hain ki yeh bilkul mere jaisa hai.....
sanju: but i dont think so chachu!
kunu: kyun?
sanju: kyunki mein aapke tharah kisi bhi cheez par confused nahi rahtha.
nimmo laughs hearing this and kunals kind of raises his hand to beat him but he runs off near the door and shouts
sanju: dadaji chachu aur chachi ko neeche bula rahen hain......bye.....
nims: bilkul teek kaha usne. mein bhi tumse poochna chahthi thi kunal. tum har cheez par itne confused kyun rehthe ho?
kunu: dekho, mera mazaak udana band karo. chalo neeche chalthein hain.
nimmo and kunal go downstairs and as nimmo was just laughing her face appeared really very happy. all the family memebers felt happy to see this.
dada: lagta hai, tum donon abh kaafi hil mil gaye ho, kyun?
dadi: haan mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai.
aman: toh anandji, hum chalthein hain. aur tum donon, tumaari shaadi pakki ho gayi hai. it will be on next sunday.
kunu and nims(together): next sunday??????????????????
kunu: lekhin dad, itni jaldi?
aman: guruji ne kaha hai ki, its the last date, uske baad tum donon ko theen maheene ke liye intezaar karna padega.
rithi: i'm sure ki bhayya intezaar nahi karenge. aur bhabhi ki baat mujhe patha nahi
naina: woh bhi intezaar nahi kar paayegi.
aman: isliye itni jaldi rakha hai.
nims: iska matlab engagement kab rakha hai.
rishab: bhabhi, engagement will be on wednesday.
jaan: toh sirf theen dhin bacha hai aur hume saari shopping inn theen dinon mein karna hai.
dadi: uski phikar aap math keejiye. nimmo aur sabhi ke dress monday ko yahaan pahunch jaayegi. everything will be white.
nims: wow!!!
dada: kya hua?
naina: kuch nahi white nimmo ki favourite color hai.
shraddha: patha hai, kunal ne mujhe bataya ki white nimmo ki favourite color hai.
rithi, naina, swati and jaanvi: ohhhhhhhhh, toh yeh baat hai.
kunal felt embrassed and nimmo felt shy but she was looking at kunal and he was looking her. and then ......
dadi: mein toh bhool hi gayi. nimmo, mein tumse kuch poochna chahthi hoon.
nims: ji, poochiye dadiji!
dadi: woh mein chahthi hoon ki tum humaare company mein join karo. abh toh tum humaare ghar ki bahu banne waali ho, isliye.....
nims: dadiji, mujhe koi problem nahi hai, lekhin ek baat hai,
dada: woh kya hai?
nims: woh jaanvi ko bhi ek job...
dadi: bas itni si baat. dont worry usse bhi hum ek post de denge.
aman: and trust me nimmo, she'll be in a very gud post.
jaan:(whispers in nimmo's ears) iski kya zaroorat thi?
nims: bas mein chahthi hoon ki tum mere saat raho.
dadi: toh abh koi problem nahi hai. aur nimmo, tum kunal ki PA ho.is that ok
nims: no problem for me.
kunu: aur ek aur baat mein clearly kehna chahtha hoon. nimmo shaadi ke baad kaam nahi karegi.
nims: kyun? mein kaam kyun nahi kar sakthi? tum kaun....
swati: nimmo? yeh tum kaisi baatein kar rahi ho, agar jeeju chahthein hain ki tum kaam na karo, toh dont work. bas. tum kuch nahi bologi, ok?
nimmo felt helpless but at the same time felt that he was doing it purposefully for the marriage to break. but poor nimmo did not know that kunal said so because he did not want his wife to work, not only for nimmo but for any girl its the same.
dada: toh hum chalthe hain.
dadi: haan, aur nimmo tum aur jaanvi monday se kaam shuroo kar sakthe ho.
they all leave and when kunal is about to leave he removes his glasses and winks at nimmo. nimmo is surprised, and swati, naina and jaanvi start teasing nimmo and nimmo feels shy and goes inside. she takes her cell to call kunal and inform about this. but his number was not there. this surprised her. just then jaanvi comes inside the room
jaan: toh nimmo, kaisa lag raha hai?
nims: jaanvi, mein tumse baat nahi karna chahthi.
jaan: lekhin kyun yaar?
nims: kyun??? tum yeh sab shuroo se jaanthi thi aur tumne mujhse kahaa tak nahi
jaan: meine kahaa na ki meine uncle se promise kiya tha.
nims: phir bhi, mein sochthi thi ki tum meri best friend ho, aur tum mujhse kuch bhi nahi chupaayegi....
jaan: come on nimmo, jo hua so hua. usse bhool de yaar. i'm so excited....
nimmo decides not to tell jaanvi about what kunal told her because jaanvi was very happy with this marriage.

Chapter eleven

its a fresh morning.(PS-Its monday) and nimmo and jaanvi are going to their new office. jaanvi is very much excited whereas nimmo is not in mood. they go into the office and everyone there wishes nimmo, a warm good morning, nimmo is surprised and impressed. but one of them asks her if she is the one who is going to marry kunal. and now she understood why all gave her a very good welcome. nimmo and jaanvi enter kunal's cabin.
kunu: ya, come in........oh nimmo, welcome to your office and you too jaanvi.
jaan: thank you sir.
kunu: hey no need of "sir". tum mujhe kunal bula sakte ho.
jaan: its ok, i prefer calling you sir at the office.
kunu: ok then, tumaari marzi. waise aapke friend baat nahi karthi kya.
jaanvi looks at nimmo and tells her to talk.
nims: mein apni office hours mein zyaada baat nahi karti.
kunu: achcha? anyways, jaanvi baahar right side corner mein ek manager hai, vikrant, u can ask him the details about your work.
jaan: thank you sir. bye nimmo.
jaanvi leaves the cabin followed by nimmo but...
kunu: hey nimmo tum kahaan jaa rahi ho?
nims: vikrant se milne
kunu: woh toh meine jaanvi se kahaa tha.
nims: toh wat about my duty?
kunu: i'll tell you. jaanvi, you may leave. and nimmo, yahaan aakar baito.
nims: no thanks.
kunu: teek hai. tum meri personal assisstant ho, hope u know that.
nims: haan, mein jaanthi hoon.
kunu: toh, tum bhi issi cabin mein baitogi, wahaan....
he points at the table on the right side of the room.
nims: thank you so much.
and she goes and sits at her table. kunal is very much surprised by nimmo's such behaviour. but decidesnot to ask her about this. nimmo and kunal are doing their respective jobs, but kunal couldnt stop looking at nimmo. every ten minutes he looked at her, and nimmo did not even mind him. it was time for lunch and kunal thought of an idea to talk to her not directly but indirectly.
kunu: nimmo, mein tumse ek baat kehna bhool hi gaya.
nims: kya baat hai?
kunu: woh kunal tumse baat karna chahtha hai.
nims: toh? meri mobile mein uska no. nahi hai. mein usse baat nahi kar sakti.
kunu: patha hai, isliye usne apna email id diya hai.
nims: really? kya hai uska email id?
kunu: ok, note kar lo, coolkunal@yahoo.com
nims: thanks kunal.
and nimmo gets up to have lunch.
kunu: kahaan jaa rahi ho?
nims: yeh kaisa sawaal hai, lunch karne ke liye. jaanvi mera intezaar kar rahi hogi. bye.
kunal felt upset but then his lunch had also arrived. nimmo came inside the cabin after lunch. kunal was busy on his laptop. nimmo went to her seat. she put on the computer and sees if kunal is still busy with his laptop and he was. she took the paper in which she had written kunal's mail id. she typed it on her messenger and what a surprise he was online. she started chatting but kept an eye on kunal if he was noticing her. but he was too busy.
nimmo typed her msg.
nims:" hi kunal! how are you? how is california?"
kunal's msg box popped up and he was happy to see nimmo's msg.
kunu(thinks- hum donon ek hi kamre mein hain, lekhin computer se chat kar rahen hain.): "i'm fine nimmo? tum kaisi ho?"
nims:" i'm fine here kunal. want to tell you sumthing imp"
kunu: "what is it?"
nims: " meri marriage fix ho gayi"
kunu: " what??? lekhin itni jaldi aur kiske saat?"
nims: " tum hasoge toh nahi?"
kunu: " nahi toh! kyun pooch rahi ho?"
nims: " kyunki ladka tumaara friend woh idiot kunal hai"
kunal was kind of furious when he read "idiot kunal". he peeped at nimmo and nimmo notices that kunal was looking at her and she suddenly looks into a file. kunal felt like laughing when he saw this.
kunu: " oh my god nimmo, i cant beleive it. you must be very lucky"
nims: " lucky??????no way kunal. uske saat shaadi, i cant imagine it"
kunu: " really nimmo, kunal is very nice guy. woh bahut achcha hai. seiously"
nims: "achcha toh hai, lekhin patha nahi kyun, usse dek kar mein kuch bol nahi paati.abh bhi uske saamne baiti hoon"
kunu: " what do you mean?"
nims: " mein uski personal assisstant hoon. toh mein uske saat ussi ke cabin mein baiti hoon."
kunu: " ohhhhhh toh yeh baat hai"
nims: " baar baar voh mujhe dektha hai, uski nazar sirf mujhpar hai"
kunu: " tumhe kaise patha"
nims: " mujhe pathan hai. lekhin mein usse mind nahi karti"
kunu: " kyun?"
nims: " patha nahi kyun, lekhin jab bhi mein usse dekthi hoon, meinkuch bol nahi paati."
kunu: "ok then nimmo, mujhe kaam karna hai. so sad ki tumaare shaadi par nahi aa paoonga. anyways advanced wishes. be happy"
nims: " ok then bye kunal"
nimmo put off her computer and looks at kunal if he was still busy. and he was. nimmo continues with her work and it was about time to leaves jaanvi comes to nimmo's cabin.
jaan: excuse me?
kunu: ya, come in.
jaan: kunal, toh mein aur nimmo chalthein hain.
nims: haan.
kunu: hey wait a second.
nims: kya hua?
kunu: woh jaanvi, mein nimmo ko apne ghar le jaa raha hoon, uski dress ready hai.
nims: kya??? nahi kunal. mujhe ghar jaana hai
kunu: hey nimmo, meine mom se promise kiya tha ki mein tumhe lekar aoonga.
nims: toh, tumhe mujhse poochna chahiye tha

kunu: teek hai, toh hum bhi chalthein hain. nimmo and kunal leave. meanwhile jaanvi was starting her scooter when she noticed that vikrant was trying to start his bike. she goes near him.
jaan: kya hua vikrant?
vik: voh mera bike start nahi ho raha. aur mujhe dher ho rahi hai, ek client se milna hai.
jaan: toh mein tumhe drop kar dethi hoon.
vik: lekhin tumhe dher toh nahi ho jaayegi?
jaan: its ok. i'll drop you. in fact yeh office ka kaam hai.
vik: ek kaam kartha hoon, i'll ride aur tum peeche bait lo.
jaan: ok.
and then they too leave. on their way jaanvi comes to know that vikrant is the only son in his house and he lives with his grandparents as his parents died in an aircrash. she felt sorry for him. and then they came to know about each other very well. jaanvi told him that she will drop him at his house and so she did and his house was in the lane next to jaanvi's. jaanvi went home and told her mother that her new office is great.
on the other side nimmo was welcomed in kunal's house by everyone. she was introduced to raj and varsha as they had not come to nimmo's house the other day. nimmo was very impressed with kunal's house members. they showed her the engagement dress and she was just staring at it. it was really very beautiful. and then they showed her everyone's dress and sent them to nimmo's house. nimmo thanked everyone and went home late.
everyone at nimmo's house were just admiring nimmo's dress. naina wore her dress and she was simply mind blowing in it. nimmo felt very tired and so she went to bed while the others were still looking at the dress.
