I woke up very late, it was past noon. I picked up the phone and then I saw that the professor and mom and Dexter were calling me. I immediately called the professor first and talked to him for a long time. I begged him to tell me everything he found out immediately. And he asked me the same. Then I called my mom because I knew she was worried too. it was enough for her if I told her that John was calling me. And so I lied to her again and said that I had heard from Johnny and that everything was fine. And I blamed myself for not being able to tell her the truth. What if something happens to Johnny and I hide it?? All kinds of things came to my mind.

Dexter is the next person I contacted. I said that I was very tired and that I had just woken up. Then he laughed and said I am in the same state. His deep voice told me what he didn't say out loud. and that is that he was thinking of me too. I was happy about that, but I pretended that I didn't understand. hahahaha I slowly adapted to the cat and mouse game.

we decided to meet during lunch. He wanted to drive me around the city and take me somewhere where, as he says, the best cuisine is. And so it was. at three o'clock he parked a big jeep in front of the hotel. I was amazed at how big the car was. and I barely got in. hahahah luck, so I put on pants. and then, like a little girl, I excitedly looked at my surroundings. And I was interested in everything. I was surprised that he knew some information about some buildings. I was mesmerized both with the environment and with Dexter. I must admit that I slowly became aware of his proximity. and so I became more and more interested in everything I liked in the city, but also in Dexter.

we arrived at a small place that Dexter told me had the best food. We entered the restaurant, which was like entering a pyramid. everything around me was perfectly neat and full of details that reminded me of excavations. there were many beautiful objects, of course they were all copies, but I immediately fell in love with this restaurant. Dexter looked at me with interest and said, I knew you would like it here. This restaurant is owned by my brother, who is also a big fan of archeology, I think like you, right??.

And so I had to inspect everything first and marvel at how faithfully everything was done. in the meantime, Dexter's brother came to the restaurant and joined me in sightseeing. He told me something about each subject and I supplemented it with my knowledge. I was delighted with the amount of knowledge he possessed. Dexter was already very tired of our story, so he told in a cultured way that his food was getting cold. hahahaha that was funny because I just realized that we didn't order anything at all. I sat down at the table and that's when his brother Manuel said that Dexter's favorite dish was on the menu today. It's a specialty.

Stuffed steak with vegetables grilled on the grill. I also ordered that and a lot of salad. I enjoyed the lunch and the atmosphere. Manuel and I were just talking about archeology and my time in the restaurant went by quickly. I looked outside and saw that it was getting dark. I looked at Dexter and managed to apologize because I forgot about time and space. He waved his hand and told me he was glad I enjoyed myself. Manuel was married to a beautiful girl who was pregnant and expecting a second child. Dexter's nephew was a wonderful boy who at one point ran into the restaurant and ran into Dexter's arms. Behind him came a beautiful girl who was pregnant, and then I realized that it was Manuel's wife.

She came to the table and changed her name. Her name was Marija. She sat down at the table and she ordered coffee and juice for all of us. I enjoyed this family atmosphere. The boy's name was Austin and he was a very handsome boy. he looked like Dexter. Same eye color. It was very strange to watch the two of them together. Splattered little Dexter. Manuel smiled and as if he read my mind said:

They are the same, aren't they??? they are so similar that sometimes I am afraid of his reaction. He has the same nature as Dexter and is very warm-hearted, but he can also be rude.

Manuel asked me where I had been and I told him that I spent the last time in Cairo with Professor Aziz and he was delighted when he heard about it. I told him about the new excavation and that he is now asking the authorities to continue digging. And so the two of us talked for a long time, and Dexter and Marija sat and enjoyed playing with Osvald. And again I realized that I had exaggerated the story again, and this time I apologized to Marija as well and just said.

Archeology is my life and I have come to love everything so much that I simply think that my life would have no meaning if I didn't do it.

Marija asked me where I was employed now, and I said that I might go back to Cairo to help the professor. Manuel congratulated me on that decision but also looked at Dexter. It wasn't clear to me at that moment why, but I wasn't too interested either. And that's how I spent one of the most beautiful days lately... We had to part ways, but I promised that I would come again as long as I'm here. Dexter promised to take me to lunch. And so we headed back. We were both silent in the car because I liked the silence

Dexter let me go because he understood that I needed time to return to the present. And so we arrived at my hotel in silence and Dexter just greeted me and said get up early in the morning because we have to visit a friend of mine. Then I realized that we hadn't even mentioned my brother. It was hard for me, but when I told Dexter about it, he just patted me on the shoulder and said, you needed a day like this to spend without worrying. He was right. I went to the room and lay down on the bed and immediately fell asleep. I was dressed in the wardrobe in which I spent the day. At some point in the night, my phone rang. I was woken up by a sound because that sound was intended when Johnny was calling me. I quickly woke up and answered the phone.
