Chapter 15

Vasantmitra was forcefully taken to Kitchen. She was given task of kneading the dough and she couldn't do it as most of the cooking was done by her father's minions. Head chef said, You are useless. Who appointed you here? Vasantmitra became furious but she didn't want to get her identity revealed.

Chef said- Today is birthday of Rajkumari Avantika, I want everything to be perfect.

Vasantmitra- One old Dasi made me come here, I am not a cook.

Chef - Not a cook, what type of Dasi are you?

Another dasi said- Maybe a new Concubine of Maharaj, look how beautiful she is. She looks like a Rajkumari than a dasi. Everyone laughed.

Vasantmitra fake laughed and said- ha ha...me...a Rajkumari? , nice joke, ha ha ha she clutched her hands in frustration and said nice joke.....

She left the kitchen to find about whereabouts of treasure.

Avantika and Prithvi were talking and he told her about Kanak's plans to get him married.

Avantika- Prithvi you must get married, it's important for your future.

Prithvi- But Avantika I don't want to cheat you.

Avantika- How is it cheating if I give my consent.

Prithvi- I know but...she put her finger on his lips.

Avantika- I am sure Prithvi one day we will unite but please think wisely, Rajmata is right. My father is at fault here. He wants to give you pain and is waiting for one wrong move from you and the war will start. Think wisely and I know you won't be loving your wife, it's all for your duties. You love only me.

Prithvi only listened to this and said- You are my best friend. He hugged her.

Avantika- Only friend?

Prithvi - Friendship is greater than love, my love

Avantika smiled.

Avantika thought - Sometimes I think Prithvi I want you to be more passionate towards me like I am for you but I know you are so practical, romance is not your thing. You cannot be passionate even if you want. And she smiled.

Prithvi meanwhile was thinking- I must make Simhanad on my side. I need to execute my plans real quick. He remembered her eyes and thought, if only her whole body was that attractive, she would make a decent concubine for me and he chuckled at this and thought, I won't make a dacoit my concubine even if she was beautiful which she is not. She behaves like a man , so unappealing.

Avantika- What happened Prithvi? What are you thinking?

Prithvi - Oh me? Ah nothing just about my next plans.

Avantika- Oh no, again work. Today is my birthday and as you said, you are my gift. She wrapped her hands around him and said, spend the entire day with me. He smirked and said, as you command and their heads touched each other.

Chapter 16

Rupa came running while Prithvi and Avantika were talking. Rupa- Rajkumari, your mother is coming to your room. She got scared.

Prithvi went to the room's bathroom and hid himself there.

Sujata- Avantika, what is this? You are not ready yet? Your friends have arrived here. Come, meet them.

Avantika nervous- Yes , Yes mother, I will dress myself up.

Sujata- And wear some nice jewellery, she smiled and left.

Avantika was relaxed now. Prithvi came outside.

Prithvi - So Rajkumari, get dressed and leave and what I will do here?

Avantika smiled and said- Wait for me.

Prithvi smiled. Avantika went to different section of her room to get dressed. She wore a beautiful dress which was backless. She was looking extremely gorgeous. She came to him and he said, Wow, you look so beautiful. She turned around and gently removed her hair. She hinted him to tie her dori. Prithvi found it childish and was amused. He tied the dori. His fingers touched her back and she closed her eyes. She was happy and got tears. She turned back and hugged him.

Avantika- I don't want to leave you and go to this boring celebration.

Prithvi- But you have to.

She left , Rupa took her away, she looked sad but he was smiling. He thought, Avantika, she is still like when we were children. He sat on the bed and thought, gosh I am so bored. I must go and have a walk. I am already in disguise. In this celebration, no one will give me any attention.

Vasantmitra was roaming here and there but found the palace really confusing. She thought, I am walking here and there aimlessly. How will I execute my plan? Was it really a bad idea to come here? She felt upset. Suddenly someone grabbed her waist from the back. She was shocked. She turned and there was a unknown guard.

Guard- Oh my, you are so beautiful, your eyes, you hair, you are gorgeous Dasi.

Vasantmitra tried to slap him but he grabbed her hand.

Guard- I am a warrior

Vasantmitra said- So am I

She grabbed his hand and twisted it real tight. She made him fall on the floor and grabbed his neck. She said- think twice before touching a woman without her consent. She slapped him and his lips started bleeding. She went away.

Guard- Dasi, I will take revenge from you. She wiped blood from his lips.

Vasantmitra was going in the direction where the dead Queen's room was. No guard was there and it was a lonely area.

Vasantmitra thought- No one is here, strange. She saw a locked door. She tried to open it but it was a strong lock. She put a pin out of her hair and started opening the lock and it worked and she entered the dead Queen's chamber.

She saw a beautiful room, everything was clean. She said, what a beautiful room. My whole crew can stay in this large room. She touched the crib where the dead child of the queen was supposed to lie in. She felt a strange vibe. She touched the crib and tears came in her eyes and she didn't understand why. She saw the jewellery the queen used to wear. She smirked and put those jewellery in her bag. She thought- If not treasure than this jewellery will work for now.

She saw the painting of the dead queen, she came to the painting and touched her face. Without knowing tears came in her eyes. She felt like she had a strong connection with the lady. She wiped her tears and thought, if my mother was alive she would be of her age. She again touched her face and remembered her mother. She thought, I never saw my mother. Sardar doesn't talk about her. Everyone says I am very beautiful, so my mother would have been beautiful as well but was she this beautiful? This lady is absolutely gorgeous. She wiped her tears.

Prithvi was wandering as well and was getting very bored. He had told Arjun to wait outside the palace for him. He also came to the lonely area.

Chapter 17

Samagra was in his room at Meluha thinking about Vasantmitra. He remembered when Prithvi unveiled her. Her beautiful black curly hair flowing in the wind, her clean skin even when she was a dacoit, her beautiful black eyes with thick eyelashes. Her extremely beautiful fish like eyes which shined. He was drinking and was lost in her thoughts. He thought, I want to meet the girl and offer marriage to her. I have fallen in love at very first sight. Wish I didn't marry prarthna but had to to make my bond stronger with Prithvi. Whatever, I am in love with that girl. I can't believe she was a dacoit. Looks like a beautiful princess. He sighed and took a heavy breath.

Suddenly Kanak came and he got up. He said, Rajmata? What happened? You could have called me. She hugged Samagra out of joy.

Kanak- Samagra I am so happy. Your father's letter came. He has approved of marriage of Prithvi and Kamla. He is sending Kamla to Meluha to get her married to Prithvi. You are already here so instead of him you will do her Kanyadan here as he is very busy. Son, I am so happy. My daughter in law is coming who will give us heir.

Samagra was shocked, he thought, Why did father agree to this? He knows all about Prithvi, his relationships with his concubines and Rajkumari Avantika. Still he agreed? Oh my poor sister, she is gonna be used as a tool to produce an heir. She deserves love. And poor Prithvi, it's not like he consented to this. Both of them, getting tied in a loveless relationship.

Kanak- What happened Samagra? What are you thinking?

Samagra- Ah mother I was thinking you should have asked Prithvi first. It's not ok that his marriage plans are going on without his knowledge. He might get very angry. You know his disposition. He hardly spends time with his own children, he is not an emotional man.

Kanak- Exactly, he's not emotional. He may become angry but will understand my plan. So don't worry. I will take care of Kamla like I care for Prarthna. Samagra, you don't have to worry.

Samagra- I don't worry mother because I know how kind and caring you are towards me and my family. I am happy and he hugged Kanak but was still upset as he knew how hot headed and irrational prithvi could get.

Chapter 18

Vasantmitra was very emotional seeing the painting but as she turned to leave she saw that guard in front of her.

Guard laughed - You idiot, no one is allowed to enter here. He grabbed her and closed her mouth. He was forcefully taking her away. She kicked his leg and he fell off.

Guard was shocked and Vasantmitra smirked. Suddenly that Guard pulled her upper cloth. Vasantmitra was shocked. He was very lewdly watching her perfect figure. He sighed.

Guard- No matter how skilled, you are after all a woman. She smirked and said, You grossly underestimate me. Three more guards came from behind. Vasantmitra only had a Knife with her while they had swords. They started fighting her. Even unarmed she was so skilled she was amazingly defending herself.

Guard- You idiots, you can't tackle a woman.

Suddenly someone came from behind and smacked his head with a vase. He fell down. Blood started coming from his head. He was Prithvi.

Vasantmitra was shocked to see him. She said- Maharaj

He pulled Vasantmitra towards his side.

Prithvi - Aww such a sad day, it's Birthday of Avantika and you guys are gonna get brutally smacked. He saw Vasantmitra and told her to fight along with him. She nodded.

They fought those guards and they were quickly unarmed by these two. They tried to run away but before that they smacked their heads and they all became unconscious.

Prithvi took hands of Vasantmitra and they ran away. They came to a safe place. He saw Vasantmitra with no upper cloth and felt really bad. He took her cloth from the ground and gave it to her. His eyes were looking away.

Vasantmitra was however confident, she said- Dhanyawaad and quickly wore her cloth.

Prithvi- Why the hell are you here?

Vasantmitra - I should ask that to you, why are you here? In enemy's territory.

Prithvi came forward and asked- What do you want to steal here?

She smirked- How you know i am here to steal something? Prithvi laughed . He said, What am I supposed to think from a person like you.

She put her knife on his throat and said- If you hadn't helped me I would kill you.

He took that knife quickly and pulled her closer. He said, You wouldn't dare.

Vasantmitra- How are you so sure?

Prithvi smiled- Because I am a king and you are not a fool who would bring problems on your people.

Vasantmitra stared at him and he started admiring her beautiful eyes. For a moment they got lost in each other. They realised how close they were to each other and broke the moment. They got distant.

Prithvi embarassed - No seriously why are you here Simhanad?

Vasantmitra- My real name is Vasantmitra

Prithvi- Vasantmitra? Friend of Spring? Doest suit you. He laughed.

Vasantmitra- Ha ha ha very funny, she laughed. I am here to loot treasure of Bhadradev.

Prithvi smirked - That's like my warrior.

Vasantmitra - Your warrior?

Prithvi came closer to her and said- I have big plans for you.

She saw his eyes and it looked really dangerous to her. For the first time she was scared, scared that she might start losing herself to him, only she didn't realise why she felt intimated by him.

Vasantmitra - What the hell are you talking about?

Prithvi smirked and said- For now let's have a deal, I will help you and whatever you will steal you will give 50 percent to me

Vasantmitra laughed - Are you trying to join my gang? Doesn't suit you, king.

Prithvi laughed and said- You may think like that. Friends?

Vasantmitra thought for a moment and she said- Friends.

They both smiled at each other.

Chapter 19

Birthday celebrations were going on and many people came to wish Avantika. Suddenly a known figure came, he was Avantika's maternal uncle named Virochana. He was chief advisor of Bhadradev and stayed in his court. He had a massive influence on the king.

Avantika ran to hug Virochana- Mama, I am so happy to see you.

Virochana- My dear, may you live a long life. Happy Birthday.

Avantika- My gift?

Virochana- Oh yeah, your gift. He gave her a beautiful diamond necklace. She felt happy and hugged him.

Avantika's friends came to greet her and she left to meet them but she was thinking about Prithvi in her room unaware of the fact he was with Vasantmitra.

Vasantmitra and Prithvi were sitting together, alone in a lonely place where no guards were around.

They both weren't saying anything to each other, just enjoying the breeze and quiet ambience.

Vasantmitra was eating a sugarcane. She gave a piece to Prithvi but he refused.

Vasantmitra - What? You can take 50 percent of my loot but can't take a sugarcane.

Prithvi laughed- It's not like that, I am not hungry but just for you he took it and started eating it.

Vasantmitra- You didn't tell me why are you here?

Prithvi- Me? I...came to birthday celebrations of Rajkumari Avantika.

Vasantmitra- Were you invited? I thought this was your enemy's kingdom.

Prithvi smiled- You wouldn't understand our customs.

Vasantmitra - Oh yeah, of course I wouldn't, I am not a princess afterall and they laughed.

Sujata and Virochana alone

Sujata - Bhaiya, today is the day my life got ruined. Maharaj married that woman this day. And worse I gave birth to a daughter when I was expecting heir to the throne who would snatch place of Yuvraj Suryadev.

Virochana- Don't worry my sister, just like how we got rid of that woman years ago, we will get rid of Suryadev as well.

Sujata- What's the point brother? I have no son. We did a terrible mistake. If that woman was alive, Maharaja probably would give me a son but since she has died he rarely visited me and now I am passed the age and Maharaj involves herself with his younger women. He doesn't even care for future of Avantika. I am only suffering the doings of my Karma. She remembered, pregnant queen was bowing in front of Sujata. She pleaded- No chief queen, please, please don't do this. Sujata evil smiled- It's true, Maharaj only used you. He is satisfied and now moved on....run...run before it's too late......

A tear fell from Sujata's eyes, she said- My poor daughter is suffering my Karma. She might stay spinster and end up as old maid.

Virochana- Enough Sister, whatever happened, happened and Avantika is an idiot in love. Very soon Avantika will get separated from Prithvi. He gave an evil smile to Sujata.

chapter 13

Bhadradev thinks Prithvi's father was responsible for what happened to his wife and child? Is there some misunderstanding between the families?

Prithvi keeps feeling Vanantmitra instead of Avantika but he doesn't know that. Lets see how he will figure this out.

chapter 14

Even when he is with Avantika, he keeps thinking about Vasantmitra. She will not be happy when she finds out.

chapter 15

He is thinking of vasantmitra as a potential concubine? She will have his head just for thinking that.

chapter 16

Vasantmitra saw her mother's portrait and felt something. She doesn't know she is actually home, near her father.
