He loves the black sari look on her. He can't get that image out of his mind.

Such a contrast between them. She gives her all to her family. He resents what little he does.

Indraneel had a look of warning in his eyes as he looked at Pankaja

“I am glad I could be of help” he responded mockingly to his Bhabhi

She realized this family was quite dysfunctional indeed

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Troublemaker
“You are safe here, my BIL hates any one we love, I mean seriously…” Suhasini whispered the next week as she set her chai down
“Oh?”
“Usko humse kuch lena dena nahi hai, since we hired you, he will unconditionally hate you”
Her heart hammered
“Oh? Is that so? Is that why he was messing with her?”
He had sent her a text late Sunday night with a picture of his action figures
“They need to be in order soon”
She hadn’t responded
“I don’t talk to him or see him so he can hate me all he wants” Punky claimed primly
“Is liye to” “Usko apne brother aur mere friends se koi baat nahi karne ka hai”
“Hmm”
“He wanted to move out my FIL stopped him”
All this explanation was because
Kunal had struck Indraneel’s beer bottle with his ball in the living room, as Indraneel was approaching his bedroom
Indraneel had not said anything just glared, cleaned up and taken another bottle from the dining room and walked away
Punky was just getting set up in the study desk in the corner, loading the page for a math quiz she was going to have him do every week from today
She had quietly turned back to the montor when Kunal had done that
She knew it was not in her place to interfere
Kunal was definitely getting better at Math, but his relationship with his Kaka was rocky
Kruti was loved a tad more she could tell
She didn’t know if Indraneel was extra harsh with the kids because he had such a feiry relationship with Suhasini
She will have to observe more for sure
“I will stay out of his way” she whispered to Suhasini
Kunal was busy working out the problems from the test across the living room on the desk overlooking the balcony
“We are glad you are being patient with him”
“Sure” she nodded nervously
Indraneel was on a call inside, laughing joking and generally having a good time
“Isko humse baat nahi karna isne start up bhi chaloo kia hai”
“Oh?”
“I should quit bitching about this man to you” she laughed and got up
“That’s right” Punky nodded
She texted him
“I don’t remember the order so I cannot rearrange the figures”
She got a prompt response
“I can show you”
She felt that familiar pounding
“No thank you”. Who the hell was he, she wasn’t that serious when she playfully messed up the order
How dare he demand she fix it
She was absolutely not going to do it
NOT a chance in h—
He is so mean to the kids
Serves him right!!
“Well it will remain an unfinished sequence then”
“Got it”
“Until you can fix it”
“Quit harassing me” she ordered as she got ready to leave at the end of her class
“I wouldn’t if you hadn’t violated my personal space”
He was not home
She walked into his room
Kunal had run away downstairs to play, Suhasini was in the shower
She walked over to his study desk and rearranged his pen holder, a carved woodsign that said “INDy” And a couple other trinkets and left the apartment locking the door behind her
