"Pooja, I'm missing bhaiya yaar." said Naina, when they stepped out of the lift. "Even he'd be missing you. And even I'm missing him." said Pooja. "Right. Shall we call him?" asked Naina. "We will surely, as soon as we reach with the bowls." said Pooja. They reached the room and went inside. "Arrey, Alekh aur Huda abhi tak nahin aaye?" asked Pooja. "Nahin beta, woh toh tumhaare saath hee thhey naa? Kahaan hain?" asked Alekh's mom. "Humaare saath?! I tell you aunty, Alekh aur Huda na…" said Naina, not getting any words to describe their not-so-good act downstairs. "What happened?" asked Alekh's papa. "Uncle, woh neeche, restaurant mein na, ek ladki hai, wahaan ki manager. Bas, yeh dono toh…" said Pooja, highly worried. "Oho beta, Alekh and Huda are just pulling you guys." said Naina's pa, laughing. "I know dad! But still, why do they need to do that everytime?" said Naina.

Just then, Alekh and Huda entered the room. "She was so beautiful na?" said Alekh to Huda, making sure that Naina and Pooja listened to whatever they were saying. "Alekh!" shouted Naina, hitting him on his back. Though the blow wasn't very hard, but Alekh still pretended it was, to gather some sympathy. "Ah! Mummy! Oh!" cried Alekh. Their parents laughed quietly, enjoying the way their children were 'PLAYING!' Gosh! Parents never change. They always think that their children will remain small. "Good! You deserve that!" said Naina, feeling proud of herself. "Haila! Naina! How mean of you!" said Huda. "If you can be mean, so can we!" said Pooja, giving a high five to Naina, and low ones too! Alekh and Huda exchanged some confused looks.

Trin-Trin, Trin-Trin… rang the phone of their room. "Main uthaati hoon." said Naina's mom. "Hello!" she said. "Hello, mama?" said Navin, very excited. "NAVIN!" she said, tears in her eyes. "BHAIYA!" shouted Naina. "Navin, kaisa hai tu beta? How are you? Tu theek toh hai naa? Aur tu khaana toh khaa raha hai naa?" she asked, worried. "Nahin mama, main yahaan pe dieting kar raha hoon." said Navin. "Chal! Le, Naina se baat kar." "Haan!" "Hello! Hello, bhaiya! How are you? Kaise ho aap? Aapko pata hai main aapko kitna miss kar rahi hoon! Main… I'm really missing you. I wish you were here bhaiya." said Naina, weeping. "Arrey! Ab tu rona band karde. Main bhi tujhe baut miss kar raha hoon. Kaisi hai tu? Khaana-waana toh khaa rahi hai naa?" asked Navin, worried. "Nahin bhaiya, main yahaan pe dieting kar rahi hoon!" said Naina, giggling. "Wah! Like mother, like son!" said Naina's mom. "Acha Naina, yeh bata, how's Alekh?" asked Navin. "Bhaiya, please okay! Don't you have any other topic to talk about? He's fine, very fine." "Hmmmm… So, kya-kya kiya wahaan par?" asked Navin. "Well… Bahut kuch. Kal toh hum Euro Disney gaye thhey, aur aaj Pooja, Oyester, main… aur kuch inconsiderate log humaare saath market-place, City Centre gaye thhey." "Yeh lo! Abhi 2 din toh huye nahin hain, aur ladaayi shuru!" said Navin. "Anyway, how are you? Who aapke Yudi aur Ali kaise hain?" asked Naina. "Fine. Absolutely!" said Navin. "Aur Arjun, Siddharth, Arshia aur Rhea?" asked Naina. "Very fine. Sab enjoy hee kar rahe hain." Said Navin. "Okay… So the main thing is that aap mujhe bilkul bhi miss nahin kar rahe hain!" said Naina. "NAINA! Agar tujhe miss nahin kar raha hota naa, toh kabhi phone nahin karta. Tujhe miss kar raha tha, tabhi toh maine phone kiya. Anyway, you take care, enjoy yourself, aur mere liye kuch nahin khareeda naa, toh ghar mein ghusne nahin doonga!" said Navin, laughing. "Haan, haan. By-the-way, aap mere re-welcome gift ke liye kya la rahe hain?" asked Naina, cleverly. "Re-welcome?" asked Navin, puzzled. "Haan. Main waapis toh aaongi naa, toh aap mujhe kuch toh denge naa!" said Naina, giggling. "Naina! You're too much!" said Navin. "Yaya, right, whatever!" said Naina. "Anyway, phone zara Alekh ko toh de." said Navin. "Hm." Naina handed over the phone to Alekh. "Hello, Navin!" said Alekh. "Hey Alekh, how are you?" asked Navin. "Absolutely fine! You?" "Me too. Acha, ek baat bata, kahin Naina tujhe bahut zyaada tung toh nahin kar rahi naa?" asked Navin. "Bahut zyaada? Bahut bahut bahut zyaada tung kar rahi hai Naina mujhe!" said Alekh, looking at Naina's shocked face. "Acha, chal, theek hai, hum sab, hum paanchon wahaan Paris aa rahe hain naa, tab Naina tujhe bilkul bhi tung nahin karegi. Par 4 dinon ke liye toh tujhe yeh sab bear karna hee padega." said Navin, happily. "KYA? Seriously?" asked Alekh, very happy. "Yeah. Arjun, Siddharth ki chutti ki ab toh humein permission mil gayi hai, because unki teachers Inter-Section Class 5 to 10 Competitions ke singing competitions mein bahut busy hain, aur Arshia aur Rhea ko bhi permission mil gayi hai, kisi tarah se. Aur mujhe bhi I hafte ki chutti mili hai." said Navin, happily. "Finally! But aapne yeh sab kiya kab?" said Alekh. "Well… Abhi, hum sab dinner kar rahe thhey, toh hum sab tum logon ko bahut miss kar rahe thhey. Phir Arjun aur Siddharth ne bataaya ki unke school mein yeh sab 5-10 ke competitions ki tayaari ho rahi hai. Aur Arshia aur Rhea ne kaha ki unki classes ki chutti hai, for about a week or so, because of some Government issue. So we thought that hum aa hee jaate hain. Hum sab tum sabko bahut miss kar rahe hain, that's why we decided to come." said Navin. "But yes, promise me, that you won't tell anyone, except Huda about this, especially Naina. No-one-at-all! Okay?" Navin asked. "Yeah, right, I won't." said Alekh. "Good. By-the-way, how is Huda, and how's Pooja?" Navin asked. "Both of them are very fine, enjoying thoroughly." said Alekh. "But missing you!" shouted Pooja from behind. "Tell Pooja that I too am missing her a lot!" said Navin. Alekh told Pooja the same. Even Navin and Pooja had a very good, in fact, a fantastic tuning! Because Pooja and Naina were so close, and because Pooja did not have any brother or sister to share anything with, she shared everything with Naina and Navin, and whenever she wanted to take an important decision in her life, she took an advice from Navin, which always worked out good for her. They had a typical brother-sister relation. "Chal then, bye, take care, and don't forget that you don't have to tell about this to anyone, not even to Naina." Said Navin. "Okay, bye take care." said Alekh. Meanwhile, their parents were busy opening the packed foods, and discussing about what all they'll do on the day of Alekh-Naina, Pooja-Huda's marriage, what all will be the decorations, the guests, the designers, the clothes, and what not! "What happened? Looking very happy Alekh!" said Naina, opening a packet of black pulses. Yum! How I just love it. "Haan? Well, nothing much. Arjun and Siddharth got selected in the Inter- School Competition of Rock Bands." said Alekh, feeling relieved when he could actually lie properly. "Oh good! That's great! When's their competition?" asked Naina, feeling extremely happy for Arjun and Siddharth. "Well, it's exactly 1 month after." said Alekh. "But tumne bhaiya se yeh kyun poocha ki aapne yeh sab kab kiya?" asked Pooja. "Well, woh isliye, kyunki Navin hee unhe auditions ke liye lekar gaye thhey.

Naina, Pooja, Arjun and Siddharth also used to have a great time together. Whenever Alekh wasn't at home, or whenever Navin wasn't there, the four of them, obviously along with Oyester, used to hang around and go for shopping or eating-out, etc. And if I tell you, what their favorite joint was, your mouth will start watering, as is mine. Yum! Their favorite joint was KFC. Yeah, our very own KFC. Though it was not as popular in New York, as it is in other places, still, they thought it was the most reasonable joint, for semi-casuals like them, and so, whenever they got time, they used to first shop for a while, and then they used to have food at KFC.

Gosh! Such foodies, I tell you!

Anyway, all of them decided to have their food and then, quickly go off to sleep, so that they could get up early in the morning and go for a City Tour, and then to the Eiffel Tower. "Chalo, good night everyone. I'm going. Really sleepy. Pooja, tu abhi aa rahi hai ki nahin?" said Naina, yawning. "Hmmmm… Aa rahi hoon, mujhe bhi bahut neend aa rahi hai. Chal. G'night everyone." said Pooja. "Goodnight kids. Aaraam se sona." said Naina and Alekh's mom, together. "Pooja, by-the-way, tum logon ke parents kab aa rahe hain?" asked Alekh's pa. "Uncle, sab kal subah aa rahe hain. Oh shit! That reminds me. Mujhe toh kal subah unhe receive karne jaana hai. Alekh tu saath chalega?" asked Huda. "Of course yaar! Kyun nahin chaloonga!" said Alekh. "Pooja aur Naina, tum log bhi chaloge kya?" asked Huda. Naina and Pooja looked at each other, then Naina said, "Okay! Chaleinge." "Okay then, kal subah 6?" asked Alekh to Huda. "Yeah." said Huda. "Okay. We'll also make a move." said Naina's pa. "Mujhe bhi toh koi chod do." said Granny, grinning. "Yaya, aapko hum chod denge." said Alekh and Huda. "Dadi, main kal subah aake Oyester ko le jaaongi. Okay?" asked Naina, thinking if she'd disturb Granny's sleep. "Oho puttar! Obviously! Aur sun, mujhe pata hai ki toh kya soch rahi hai. Don't worry, koi mujhe sote huye disturb nahin kar sakta, kabhi nahin! Tujhe jitna shor machaana hai, machaa liyo. Okay?" said Dadi, laughing. "Okay!" said Naina, smiling and happy, feeling joyful about the fact that she'll get such nice people to stay with after marriage.
