Hey guys! okay so i know its probably been like 2 months since i wrote. but im really sorry! and im almost done with the next part so i will post it up soon. ive been buried by midterms/papers/hw/personal problems. im really sorry again if i let you guys down

heyyyy, lovely part... but i cnt wait for angad n kripa to get together... i mean sum1 or the other is always cumin in between them, now its sarah, n both of them keep kissing each other... how annoyin! 🤢 🤢

oh girl honestly its cool, i completely understand! its like with college u barely get free time so when u actually get free time, u would rather sleep or be bored than write lol well thats how i am now anyways- i barely get time to watch tv so when i get free time i would rather do something other than write lol thanks for coming back though, i really did miss ur ff, but we're all busy so its understandable- so dont sweat it! continue when u can

"Hello?" Kripa spoke into her phone as the ringtone woke her up.

"Kripa. This is Sarah."

"Oh..hi Sarah!" Kripa smiled and then looked at the time. 9:47 PM. She quickly sat up.

"Kripa I just wanted to remind you that this friday is Sana's surprise party. I hope youre coming." Kripa took a deep breath as she realized how quick time was passing by. "Umm yeah I am! Sarah I'm sorry. I know I had promised to help you out with this and.."

"Oh its okay kripa. Angad's been a great help. I'm almost done with organizing it." Kripa nodded awkwardly. Angad and Sarah had been getting closer and closer each day. "Yeah. Um thanks for the invitation again. I'll be there."

Kripa walked into Sarah's house with a wrapped up gift in her hand and a safe smile on her face. She looked around to find Sarah, Sana..or even Angad. When she noticed him, she froze. He was standing in the center with Sana in his arms. They both looked so happy. Something inside her made her extremely uncomfortable at this point.

Angad held Sana in his arms like she was his own daughter. She was 10 today. He watched her as she talked and talked her way into his heart. He kissed her cheek and smiled. When he looked around, he saw Kripa standing at the door, looking at them. He let Sana get off and run away with other kids as he walked towards Kripa.

She was dressed in an elegant off-white saree that shimmered all over. The way she carried herself made her look even more gorgeous that she already was. But the color of the saree wasnt the first thing that Angad noticed. It was the fact that she was actually wearing a saree. Kripa Sharma in a saree? Now that was quite unbelievable. His feet stopped right in front of her. They stared at each other for a few moments. There was a smile on his face that made her smile. She had never looked so beautiful in her life. The kind of innocence on her face brought back some sweet memories.

"Kripa.." Angad tried to say something when suddenly Sarah grabbed his arm. "Hey kripa!! what took you so long??" Kripa tucked a strand of hair behind her ears. "I had to finish off some official matters so..I'm sorry. Um..wheres Sana? I got her this." She held up the little gift that she had bought for Sana.

"Oh. Thanks Kripa. I'l take it!" Sarah took it from Kripa's hands. Kripa felt like Sarah had taken the only right she had left as a mother. To give her daughter something precious. Well, Sana wasnt "her" daughter anymore, she realized. She smiled as Sarah looked around for Sana. "Hey come on in. We're gonna cut the cake soon!" Sarah left Angad's arm and hurried away to get the cake.

Angad turned to look at her walk away and then looked at Kripa standing there, looking awkward. "Uh..come in Kripa."

"Yeah" Kripa and Angad walked towards the center where Sarah stood with Sana. "Umm Kripa..I wanted to apologize to you."

"Apologize?"

"Yeah. I was kinda...kinda rude on the day of your engagement. I was just a little insecure. About letting go of you and..moving on. I'm sorry."

Kripa smiled. "Is this the same Angad Khanna that never apologized to anyone?" Angad smiled back and then ran his hand through his hair. "Well..its different with you. I just..want you to know that." Kripa felt some kind of hope creep up inside her. Was this Angad's way of telling her that he still loved her?

"Kripa..I just wanna tell you something before you hear from somewhere else." She patiently waited for his next words. "Kripa when you got engaged to Simon, I couldnt have been unhappier. I was so angry that day. But I thought about it Kripa and since you've moved on with Simon. Its..its only fair if I move on too." Kripa looked at him, uncertain of what he was trying to say.

"Kripa I've decided..I'm marrying Sarah. Sana needs a father and I...I wanna take that responsibility." Kripa stood there dumbfound at his words. "What did you say?" Angad and Kripa both stopped in their tracks and then faced each other. "Kripa...I'm going to ask Sarah to marry me tonight. I'm finally moving on." There was a smile on his face like he had finally achieved something he had tried hard on.

"Angad! Come on lets cut the cake!" They heard Sarah yell in the background. Angad nodded and turned to look at Kripa again. "Thanks Kripa. For everything you have taught me in life. You'll always remain special in my life." He quickly gave her a kiss on the cheek and then walked away to where Sarah and Sana stood. His new family, Kripa thought.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday to.." The singing voices disappeared as she looked at them. Angad and Sarah held Sana's hand as she cut the cake. Kripa watched as Sana took a piece of the cake and fed it to first Sarah and then Angad. They were all smiling, happy. Kripa stood there, numb. She had to accept her life now. A life without Angad. A life without Sana. A life without her soul.

"Hey thanks for coming Kripa. It really meant a lot." Sarah smiled as she said goodbye to Kripa at the end of the party. Kripa nodded and patted Sarah's hand. "You know it means a lot to me as well!" Kripa kissed Sarah's cheek. "Bye Sarah." She looked at Angad who stood behind Sarah at a distance, with Sana as she tore her gifts open. She had a big smile on her face and it made Kripa smile as well. Angad looked at her, thanking her for coming. "Bye Angad..umm and good luck!" He knew she was talking about Angad's plan to propose to Sarah that night. Angad nodded his head with a smile.

Sarah pulled her hair together and put it up in a high pony tail. Already in her pajamas and a cotton T-shirt, she waited for Angad. They were supposed to clean up together. "Hi!" She felt his arms around her waist. "Hmm..and why are you so happy?"

Angad grinned and kissed her cheek. "what can be better than having such a wonderful family?"

"Family?" She turned around and tried to study his face. Narrowing her eyes, she searched his eyes. "Sarah. We have been the best of friends from the time we met each other. And I must say that slowly but finally I've started to fall for you." He took her hands in his and made her sit on the couch. "Sarah Aman..." He got down on one knee. "Will you like to be the one I wake up to every morning. Or the one I will grow old with?" Sarah looked at him, shocked and surprised at the same time. "Sarah. Will you marry me?"

His voice echoed in her ears. Marriage? She had gotten out of a long, failed marriage. And it wasnt pretty. The indifference on her face sort of confused him. He quickly got up and sat on the couch. "Look Sarah I know what youre thinking. With your past and whatnot. Umm..we all have a past that we want to move away from. And..I wanna move away with you! So Sarah Amaan. I ask you again..will you marry me?"

Sarah looked at the ring that Angad held in his hand. Her whole life flashed in front of her eyes. The time when Samar had proposed to her and how she had jumped at the offer to get married to her first love. The time she felt Sana in her arms for the first time when she promised herself that she would give her daughter all the happiness in the world. And then somewhere she remembered the moments she spent with Angad. And the way Sana felt about Angad.

Taking a deep breath, she smiled and held Angad's hand. "Yes." Angad smiled and slipped the ring onto her finger and hugged her.

Kripa sealed the box and put it next to the door. "Here you go Simon. This is all your stuff that was at my house." Simon nodded his head. "And I have yours in my car. I'll go get it." Kripa nodded her head as Simon went to get her stuff. They had decided to call off the engagement. When Simon had asked her who she was in love with, she had told him the truth. That she had once loved Angad Khanna and was not able to move on since then. He was shocked. Immediately, he had asked her to break up. And she had agreed.

Now was the day they were supposed to return each other's items and Kripa had everything set. Simon walked in with a box and put it on Kripa's table. "Here you go."

"Thanks Simon." She looked down at the floor. He didnt leave and she didnt ask him to. Simon looked at her. She looked so lifeless. Nothing like the Kripa he had fallen for. That Kripa was the young, beautiful, confident Kripa Sharma. Standing here, before him was a defeated Kripa who didnt seem to want to live anymore.

"Umm Kripa..before I leave. I just wanna say that...theres no hard feelings from my side k? I know we've been through a lot and wahtever but..I'm always gonna care about you."

"Thanks Simon. I feel the same way." They exchanged their goodbyes and Simon finally walked towards the door but then stopped in his way. "Wait.." He turned around. "...Kripa..I forgot to give you something."

Kripa looked at him cluelessly. What did he forget? He walked upto her and took his ring off. "Here you go. Your ring."

"But I never asked for it Simon. I'm.."

"I know. But I'm asking for mine." Kripa looked at him, surprised. She didnt care about the ring. But Simon asking for the ring back was a little out of the ordinary. But she took it off and placed it in his hand. "Here you go Simon. I hope you find someone who deserves this." He nodded with a sympathetic smile and left.

When he did, Kripa sat down on the couch and cried. For hours. She had lost everything she had built up her whole life for. yes, she was still a successful model. But what did she have now? Her true love lost. The one who loved her a lot left. Now she had this empty feeling in her life. She didnt even have her own daughter with her.

She remembered what Angad had told her the other night. Angad and Sarah were engaged already, she thought. Atleast her daughter was with the father, she thought. But Angad didnt know that. For him Sana was Sarah's little baby. Someone he was going to 'adopt'. Suddenly, Kripa got up. She had to tell Angad about Sana. She couldnt hide such a big piece of information. But then she thought about Sarah. She had promised her that the truth would never get out. No one would ever find out that Sana was Kripa's daughter. And at the same time, it would affect Kripa's popularity in a negative way if the world found out about Sana. But that wasnt her main concern right now.

Angad deserved to know the truth about Sana and no matter how wrong it was of her to break her promise to Sarah, it had to happen.

"Ok honey now you know who's going to pick you up right?"

"Dad?"

"Yes! Well have fun at school!" Sarah kissed her daughter goodbye as she got out of the car and walked into the gates of the school. Sarah was about to leave when another car suddenly parked itself in front of hers. Not knowing what was going on she took her seatbelt off and got out of the car.

Kripa got out of the car and stood in front of Sarah. "Kripa? Whats going on?" She looked at her, still confused. "Sarah I need to talk to you."

"Umm..okay but not right now. I..I have a meeting to attend, Kripa."

"Its about Sana." Sarah looked at Kripa, shocked. She felt like something bad was going to happen already.

They both sat down in a restaurant and looked at each other, not knowing what to say. Finally Sarah gave up. "Okay Kripa. What do you have to say?"

Kripa took a deep breath and thought about the consequences of her actions. If she said anything to Sarah, she knew Angad would be in for a shock and so will Sarah. But if she didnt and Sarah somehow found out from somewhere else, she would cut off all relations from Kripa and never let her see Sana again. And Angad would just hate her for never saying a word to him.

"Kripa hurry up and say what you have to say. I dont have all day. And your silence is killing me!" For the first time, Sarah had raised her voice against Kripa.

"Sarah...what if I you ever found out who Sana's real father was?"

"What? Kripa..how does that matter concern Sana and I? I thought you said you would never let your past come back to haunt my daughter. "

"I know I did! But I didnt know that my past would come back to haunt me either!"

"He's back in your life? Is that why youre breaking up with Simon? To get back with him? Kripa...dont tell me you want Sana back from me."

"Oh come on Sarah! Dont be irrational. There is nothing of this sort happening. I just asked you a general question. Does it matter to you who Sana's real father is?" Sarah looked at Kripa for a good few seconds and then stood up. "No. It doesnt matter to me." Angry, she turned around to leave.

"Even if I tell you that its Angad?" Sarah stopped. Turning around, she looked at Kripa with a cold expression. "Tell me its not him." Kripa looked at her. "No. its not." Sarah breathed a heavy sigh of relief. "Kripa you scared me so much! Dont you ever dare do that to me."

"I'm sorry. You know what Sarah, you go ahead to your meeting. I'm sorry for stalling you."

"Kripa. Just tell me what you have to say. I cant let you keep doing this to me."

"Nothing at all Sarah. Just go. I'll talk to you later." Sarah rolled her eyes and put her hands up in the air, giving up. "You know what Kripa. The day you stop letting your insecurities get to you..you can tell me what is really up." Saying this Sarah got up and left again. Kripa sat there in some kind of shock. What insecurity? If she was insecure, she wouldnt have come down here to talk to her. She picked up her phone and then scrolled down a few names on her contact list. Angad Khanna. She pressed the green button.

Two rings. "Hello?"

"Angad...this is Kripa. We need to talk."

Great part!!! And Yay you continue after a while, but it was worth the wait but I'm sad now Angad's getting engaged to Sarah, nooo. Now I just wonder if K is going to tell Angad he's the daddy what will happen, and I mean Sarah should figure out Kripa wasn't joking that Angad is the father. It was really good, Angad is maturing and poor Kripa, she's trying to do whats right. Oh I just hope they get together soon. Continue soon, because I'm dying to read more. Take care.
