Part 8

Kripa was in a very evil mood at the moment. Her eyes were searching the cafeteria; she needed a let out, a way to push her trouble onto someone else's shoulders. She needed something that would distract her, at least until tonight when she had bear to drown out her thoughts and emotions. Her heart leapt in excitement, her eyes stopping.

She had just found the subjects that she was going to be putting under extreme misery today. It was Carol and Justin; they had been voted as the sweetest couple for the past 3 years, something that she had picked up on her very first day. It was time that someone tested their love, she thought to herself, wondering how best to approach this new assignment.

As if on cue Justin got up from the bench dropping a quick kiss on Carol's cheek. It seemed as if he was leaving for class a bit early. It was a chance that Kripa was not willing to forego. She whispered something in Stephanie's—her very recent friend—ear, and then quickly head out of the cafeteria before Justin.

She waited until she was in a deserted hallway before she decided to act out her faade. It wasn't too hard. Not for Kripa who had used this trick more times then she could count. All she had to do was drop her books, fall on one side, grab her ankle and scream in pain. As she had predicted Justin was there at her side, within seconds like any gentlemen.

"Are you ok?" He asked his voice worried.

"No!!" Kripa said hiding her grin. Making her voice sound pained, as if she had suffered the unimaginable, "My leg!! Awo it hurts!!! Do you think you could take me to the nurse's office? I wouldn't ask but dragging there with my books and this leg will be close to impossible." She gave him her innocent batting of eyelashes impossible for anyone to resist.

He nodded helping her up on her legs, carrying most of her weight, his one hand on her waist and the other around her shoulders. Kripa slipped her hand around his neck, hanging on to him. They had moved only a few steps towards their destination that she heard footsteps down the corridor.

Kripa smiled to herself slipping her other hand around his neck and pulling him into a kiss. He would have resisted if he had time, but he was taken by surprise.

It lasted only a few seconds before Kripa detached herself from him. He looked at her his eyes wide with shock, but Kripa wasn't looking at him she was busy smirking at the guest Stephanie had brought to witness the scenario. Justin followed her gaze his mouth dropping open, his heart thumping, his body shaking with grief.

"Carol" He said in a half strangled voice.

She had tears in her eyes as she fled without a word, with Justin at her heals

"Hmm…not bad, he tastes like lemon pie." Kripa said mostly to herself.

"Kripa?" Stephanie said rushing to her side at once her eyes wide in shock "What was that about? I didn't know you wanted me to bring Carol here for this! I can't believe Justin kissed you. I thought they were in love." Stephanie shook her head, "No one can be trusted these days."

"Chill Steph, Justin didn't kiss me. I kissed him, right as I heard yours steps coming down the hall."

"But why? Do you like him?"

Kripa laughed aloud, "Do you really think my taste is that bad."

"Then why?" Stephanie said sounding hurt.

"I was bored" Kripa said shrugging, "Now let's go, I don't want to be late for class on my first day." Stephanie followed her head hung low; she couldn't believe that she had been part of something so horrendous. But she didn't say anything this was her one and only chance to fit in, and she was not going to ruin it by saying anything stupid.

Kripa noticed that she was upset, she liked Stephanie she reminder her of herself a few years back. So she changed the subject, "Are you coming with me tonight? To the Disco?"

Her face lit up at once but then fell once again as she sighed, "I don't think my parents would allow."

"Leave that up to me." she said smirking

"I don't know…" Stephanie said a hesitant; she didn't know what was cooking in Kripa's mind but was sure that whatever it was, it was bound to get her into trouble.

"You know… Prithvi is coming." Kripa added casually

"Prithvi!!" She said almost screaming, her heart almost jumping out of her throat, but controlled herself when she remembered, "Oh yeah Prithvi your boyfriend."

Kripa shrugged, "I wouldn't mind hooking you guys up. I think you guys would make a lovely pair."

Stephanie looked at her suspiciously.

"No seriously steph, he is more of a friend then anything."

"Oh" She said looking thoughtful, Prithvi was probably one of the hottest guys in the world and she was going to be with him tonight, if only somehow she could get out of her house!!

"So you are coming?" Kripa said wanting to seal the deal.

"Hey Angad, remember what today is." Josh whispered in middle of Bio.

"Ya I know." Angad said absentmindedly, not bothering to keep her voice down

"So…you are going right? To the disco? Wednesday is our night out."

Angad rolled his eyes, "Ya I am going. Happy?"

"Yup! It will be awesome… er you can bring along Kripa if you wish."

"Shut up!!" Angad said now thoroughly annoyed.

Josh didn't push it; he didn't want angad going back on his words. He would find out soon enough what was bothering Angad. A few bears in and all secrets come pouring out!

oh krips is evil but i love her behavior lol its toooo funny!! in psychology as i learned its called displacement lol krips is taking out her anger on someone else instead of angad!! lol this is wayyyyyyy too good! so ak at the disco hehe this is gonna be awesome!! continue soon!
